Hate Me

I craw around on bone skinned knees, feelings of shame and sadness consume me. It's heart breaking. This hopeless melancholy that has overwhelmed me. My affection, my fondness, my warmth. It's all left my body. I've tried so hard to hold on. how laughable this ratchet me has become. How bitter my mouth tastes. It's as if delightful words have never escaped my lips. I hide this ugly fact behind a cascade of truth-less contempt. The thought that runs along the surface? "If you hate me, I'll get over you." So hate me with all your will, cast me aside and leave me be. My jealousy is strong, my rage is fateful and my soul has grown cold. I can't be saved. You haven't even noticed me.
