The family were finishing up their dinner when Janice's phone rings, she jumps and grabs it then sequels when she realizes it was Ty. "Hi baby." She shrieks and he chuckles at how excited she was to hear his voice.
"Hi kitten, we're on our way to the hotel. We have a brief meeting after we settles. Are my family nearby?" He asks. "Yes, we're just finishing dinner. I'll put you on speaker." She said and places the phone down. He said hi to his family and told them what he just told her. Then promise to call after the briefing. After saying I love you to her he hung up leaving a bitter sweet smile on her face.

"Hi everyone." Scott smiles taking a seat next to the group he has been sitting with for the past few days. The group consists of his friends who after telling him they missed his company at lunch begs him to start having lunch with them again and that he could bring Jasmine with him and after talking it over with jasmine she agrees to join them as long as she gets to bring along a few of her friends of course.
So now he was sitting with his friends and hers. As soon as he sat down his friends began filing him in on what they did over the weekend but as soon as the guys begin talking about what party they went to and what they ended up doing with whichever girl they were with at the time he stops them saying he didn't want to hear that part. Andrea was there also but she remains quiet most of the time.
They took turns calling him a prude but he didn't mind, he knew it was going to take a while if ever for them to understand how his mind works.
He then opens his big lunch bag and took out a container of muffins, placing it on the table. "Muffins for everyone." He said and they all dig in. A bright smile spread across Jasmine's face when she realizes that hers was a mini cheese cake in the form of a muffin. Cheese cake was her favorite.
Scott was on his way to Football practice when Jasmine came running over to him. "Hey wait." She said trying to catch her breath. "Hey miss out of breath, why are you chasing me?" He laughs.
"To give you this." She said grabbing his hand and placing a colorful woven bracelet around his wrist. "Oh wow, this's pretty." He said admiring it. "Thank you, it's a friendship bracelet I made it for you in art class and these are for my brother and sister." She said showing him two more. "You've got skills girl, they're beautiful." "Thank you, okay have a good practice, see you tomorrow and thank you for bringing my favorite cake." She said hugging him then running in the direction of the parking lot.

On Wednesday morning Janice was on her way downstairs when Caleb grabs her wrist. "Hey, you try to hide it but I know you're still a little angry at me for what I said to Ty." He said softly. "Yes I was but not anymore. You really hurt his feelings Caleb and he didn't deserve it." She said in her soft tone.
"I know and I'm sorry, it won't happen again." He reassures her. "It better not!" Fabian's voice booms behind him. "Oh you have no idea how close you came to a beat down." Fabian snorts. "Wait- beat down? For what?" Caleb asks frowning.
"What the hell you mean for what? I don't give a shit how angry you are, you don't talk to our little brother like that, ever!" "Alright, I already said it won't happen again, just chill man, damn." "I've to go get the kids ready for preschool." She said pulling her hand from his and walking away.
"So how's going with Maya?" Fabian asks. "It's not, but I'm not giving up." "Why, it's not like you love her or want to be with her. Maybe you should just let her go. She deserves to be with someone who wants to marry her."
"She's the mother of my child, I do love her and someday I'll marry her." "So what, you expect her to just sit around and wait for you while you bed all the women you want?" Fabian asks in a stern tone.
"What the hell are you going on about? I'm not bedding anyone. All I've been doing is trying to put my family back together. You know what, I've to go, I'll see you later." Caleb snaps and walks away. "Not bedding anyone huh? Yeah right and I'm Tina Turner." Fabian sucks his teeth and walk towards his room.

"Penny for your thoughts." Fabian whispers in Amara's ear as he came to a stop in the driveway and switch off the engine. "Um- what?" She asks sounding a little dazed. "What is going on in that pretty little head of yours?" He asks caressing her cheek. "You've been very quiet since we left the apartment."
"I was just thinking." She sighs stepping from the vehicle. "Do you mind if we sit by the pool for a while?" She asks softly. "Sure if that's what you want but it had rained earlier so we shouldn't stay long." He said sitting down then pulling her down in his lap.
"So, what were you thinking about?" He asks massaging her fingers as two of the six beasts of a dog they had came and sit at his feet. "Well, this apartment is what our fourth we have bought since we met and we keep it even though we couldn't move in to it because of my parents." She sighs again.
"Point is, it's our special place, were we can go to be alone and relax." She pause and he sat in silence waiting for her to continue. "Don't take this the wrong way baby but I don't want to do this anymore." She said in a nervous tone. "Do what?" He asks confused.
"These days we only go to our apartment to have sex and it's beginning to feel more like a motel than our special place. I don't like the way that makes me feel and I want to change it." "How? You know we can't make love here." He states. "I know, trust me I know, your parents are watching us like a hawk and I don't blame them, what they're saying is true. Sex out of marriage is wrong and your mom worries about you all so much that I would never ask you to move away from her..." She said pausing again.
"What are you trying to say angel?" "Eight months ago you asks me a question but because of my parents I couldn't give you the answer you needed but I would be very happy if you would asks me that question again." She said in an hopeful tone.
"What? Now?" He asks stunned. "Yes, now." She giggles. "Are you sure?" He asks. "A hundred and fifty percent yes." "My parents really put the fear of God into you, didn't they?" He laughs. "Yes, yes they did but I can also think of a hundred different reasons why I want to do this but if you've changed your mind then...." "Not in this life time. I wanted it then and I want it even more now." He said hugging her close to him. "Then what are you waiting for? Get to it." She urges.
"He got up, put her to sit and kneel down in front of her. "Amara Zekelia Edwards would you do me the honor of...." "Yes, yes and yes." She squeals cutting his question short. "It would be my greatest honor to become your wife." She laughs jumping on him. "I hope you don't mind but you'll have to wait until we get to my room before I can put your ring on your finger." He chuckles. "Well I've waited this long a few more minutes won't hurt." She whisper dragging him to her and kissing him passionately.
