Aftermath

Sofia's POV
Naging tahimik ang buong gym dahil sa sinabi ng Principal. Lahat ng estudyante ng LPI ay ipinatawag para mag dasal sa limang babaeng pinatay dalawang linggo lang ang nakakaraan.
I've already told my gang to enhance the security system ng LPI. Dahil sinabi sa akin ni Althea na humihina na daw ang bug system ng University, nakakapag taka lang dahil wala naman akong nakikitang motibo para galawin ang security system.
"Princess, halika na" nagbalik naman ako sa realidad ng tinawag ako ni Tiffany, dali-dali naman akong sumama sa kanya.
Kung noon ay parang palengke ang classroom namin dahil sa sobrang ingay ngayon naman ay tinalo pa ang bundok sa sobrang tahimik. Siguro nga ay puro mga spoiled brats' ang mga nandito pero marunong din namang makisimpatya.
"Who could be that devil did this to them?" wika ng isa kong kaklase.
"Wala silang awa"
"Oo nga," at sunod-sunod na komento nila. Hindi ko din sila masisi, mukhang na trauma ang ilan sa kanila at napilitan lang pumasok dahil sa imbestigasyon.
Napalingon naman kami sa pintoan ng may kumatok dito, dali-daling tumayo ang class president namin at binuksan ito. Pumasok ang limang lalaki na sa pagkaka-alam ko ay ang dalawa ay myembro ng NBI at ang tatlo ay Interpol Officials.
Bahagya akong napangise Interpol Officials? Nah-uh. Talagang opisyal na ang ipinadala nila.
Ang limang taong yan ang mag i-imbestiga sa insidenteng nangyari. As you can see, dali-daling lumabas sa media at international media ang nangyaring karumal-dumal na pagpatay kina Angelie. Agad namang umuwi ang mga magulang ko para tulungan si Auntie sa konting problema nato. Oo, konti lang.
Kinakalaban nila ang tiyahin ko. Nah, when my aunt is good she's definitely good but when she's mad she's a demon.
"Humihingi ako ng paumanhin dahil na-abala namin kayo sandail. Pero may mga ilang katanungan lang kaming itatanong sa inyo." Wika nung nasa gilid na lalaki.
Nagsitangoan naman ang mga classmate ko. naiirita ako sa tingin na ipinupukol sa akin ng isang pares ng mata sa harapan.
Okay, for the record. I am not the one who killed those bitches, okay?
"Nasan kayo mga bandang 9:22 ng umaga?" tanong nung isang walang buhok na detective.
"Nasa canteen kaming lahat. Wala kasi si Mrs. Harris dahil sa maternity leave niya kaya vacant kami niyan." Wika ni Ms. President.
"Wala ba kayong nakitang umalis?" tanong ulit nung detective. Umiling lang si Ms. President.
"Hindi ko na alam,"

Maaga kaming pinauwi dahil mag i-imbestiga pa raw ulit sila. Dahil sa nagugutom ako ay pumunta ako cafeteria. Naramdaman ko naman ang presensiya ng apat sa likod ko.
Nakarating kami na walang mga matang nangungutya sa amin. Siguro dahil namatay ang Queen Bee.
Umupo naman ako sa isang pang-walong upuan na table, sinabi kasi sa akin ng apat ay sila na daw ang bibili pambayad dahil sa wala sila kahapon. Wala daw kasi akong kasama.
I get my phone and check it. I've got 2 sms from Xander. Wala naman akong panahon para tingnan yun.
Pero my brain betrays me and I open that damn message.
"Wife, are you in our house already?" "Where are you?" those words made me melt. This is not so Ian Xander.
Dali-dali ko namang naitago sa ilalim ng mesa ang cellphone ko ng may biglang umupo sa harapan ko.. Harold Romnov.
"Do you mind if I would sit here? There's no other vacant table around?" wika niya habang nakangite. Ayaw ko ng ngite niya.
"I really don't mind it. Feel free to sit." Wika ko habang tinitingan ang gawi nila Tiffany na naka kunoot ang noo papalapit sa table.
"Oh! The new kid" wika ni Althea. Napalingon naman si Harold sa kanya at nginitian siya.
"Hi, can I sit here too?" wika niya. Malamig lang tingin sa kanya ni Tiffany.
"Sure," tangin sagot ni Althea.
Umupo naman sila at ibinigay sa akin ang pagkain ko. mahabang katahimikan ang pumaibabaw ng nag simula na kaming kumain. Wala ni isa sa amin ang balak na mag salita. Pero nabasag naman iyon ng biglang mag salita si Cally.
"So, you've told us, you came from London. Why transfer here in the Philippines?"
"My parents have business here. They told me to come with me."
"Which school did you came from?" sa unang pagkakataon ay narinig kong nagsalita si Minchi.
"Marylaine Acadamy" Marylaine?
"Gee, we've studied there too. How come I don't know you?" natural na taklesa si Althea kaya wag kang magtaka kong ganyan siya.
"Actually, I know the three of you. But where's the other two? I've never seen them here" hindi man ako tumitingin sa gawi niya ay alam kong nakatingin siya sa akin.
So anong ibig niyang ipinaparating?
"You just don't know my existence, she didn't even know I exist" he added, kumunot naman ang noo ko. hindi ko narinig ang huli niyang sinabi.
"What?"
"Nevermind, I'm going, thank you for the seat" wika niya at umalis pero bago siya umalis at tumingin ulit siya sa amin at ngumite. Ngiteng paulit-ulit kung pinapatay sa isipan ko. Damn!
"I don't like him" biglang wika ni Tiffany. Nagtinginan naman kami sa kanya.
"I don't like that smile," she added. She's really my cousin.
"Me, either" wika ni Cally. Nag smirk naman si Minchi at Althea.
"Anyway, did you find the culprit?" malamig kong wika sa kanila. Tumango naman si Tiffany.
"Actually, my hunch tells me that they're not"
"Why?"
"Dahil hindi tugma ang testimony nila sa nangyari kila Angelie, they're like they've been paid and then show up" sagot niya sa akin. Nakakapagtaka, sino naman ang saltik ang utak para ikulong ang sarili kung wala naman silang kasalanan?
"What's with the group of Angelie?" I said nonchalantly.
"Before they died, they were sexually harassed and tortured." I cussed beneath my breath, how ridiculous? Been what? Sexually harassed? Oh-oh that's so merciless!
Even though, I despise them, but still, I'm a girl.. and needs to be respected.
How cruel is their fate.
Tifanny's POV
Harold Miles Romnov..
That guys seems so familiar at me, yet couldn't really remember him, nonetheless, I would dig his information.
Better try it.
Isa pang gumugulo sa akin ay ang mga suspect. I really have this hunch that they were actually paid. The suspects were just fraud!
Pero kailangan kong kumuha ng mga ebidensiya. Nagtataka kayo kung bakit kami sumasali sa imbestigasyon ng patago dahil inutusan kami ni Aunt Alodia.
Gusto kasi niyang isampal sa mukha ng Interpol Head which is her ex-lover, Duke Lynx Hartford, na walang kinalaman ang eskwelahan and it's just homicide.
Wag kayong maniwala kay Princess kung sinabi man niyang matandang dalaga si Aunt Alodia (A/N: Please Refer Chapter 4: First Day of School) dahil Aunt Alodia is just 29 years old only. She likes teasing auntie.
Anyway back to the present, naglalakad ako papuntang gate dahil uuwi na ako. Yep, I take cab. Pano ang drama kong poor-nerd if I'm going to ride one of the fastest wheels?
Lalabas na sana ako pero may humila sa akin at hinila sa kung saan. Damn! This broad shoulder, gray-haired men is no other than, Kenneth Gyu. I bump at his back when he suddenly stops. I looked up and I realize that where here in the parking lot.
"I'm going to take you a ride" he said then open the door. Hindi ako pumasok. Why? Because some fangirls' of him are looking right now, taking pictures and damn! Maybe tomorrow? Nah-uh, we're the hottest news around the campus.
Damn this man for his reckless action.
"No way in hell, I'm going to ride with you" I almost whispered.
"Woman, I did this because I'd want to. I did this because my mother told so" Ouch.
Walang pasabi-sabi ay pumasok ako sa sasakyan niya and slammed the door. Tumiin naman ang mga bagang niya. Patakbong umikot siya at pumunta sa driver seat. Hindi ko siya nilingon.
"Dammit! Plano mo bang siraan ang pinto ng sasakyan ko?" wika niya ngunit hindi ko sinagot.
"Just drive me home" malamig kong wika.
Building feelings for this jerk is really not my plan and will never be. But, destiny knocks my foot and when the next morning I woke up, I'm falling for this idiot.
When our parents told us that we should date, half of me is happy and half me it lil' bit worried. How can I tell my gang 'bout this?
"What's your problem?" tanong niya. Hindi ko ulit siya sinagot, instead I get my iTouch and played some music.
"You look so beautiful today.."
"When you're sitting there it's hard for me to look away.."
"So I try to find a words that I could say.."
"I know distance doesn't matter but it---"
Tiim baga akong napatingin sa taong marahas na hinila ang earphone ko.
"Idiot, what's your problem?" singhal ko sa kanya. How dare him!
"Ikaw ang dapat kong tanungin yan, why acting so cold to me, huh?" I rolled my eyes.
"None of your business" malamig kong wika. Wala siyang dapat malaman sa nararamdaman ko, cause someday my secrets will be revealed and I won't risk my heart in feeling those pain.
Silence covered again, well awkward silent it is. I just want to figure things out. If I totally fall for him or not.
"We're here"
Hindi ko na siya pinatapos at bumaba, at palinga-lingang tumingin baka kasi may naka sunod diba?
Papasok na sana ako ng hinila niya ako, bakit ba siya laging nanghihila. Nakakirita. Malamig lang ang ipinukol ko sa kanya.
"I want to talk to you, privately" wika niya. What? Ano namang kailangan nito? I nod them pumasok alam kong susunod yun.
Nakarating ako sa garden ng bahay namin. I really love this place, the ambiance is so peaceful and so refreshing, and the wind that slaps your face is definitely good and can make you relax to death.
"Hindi na ako magpapaligoy-ligoy pa, I saw you, fighting those.. well.. Angelie's group. You beat them almost to death" I smirked. I am not numb for me not to know that they're actually there when I have some little fight with those brat girls.
"I know, Kenneth. I even mention your name right?" I nonchalantly said.
"Yes and how can you fight like that? Your moves are familiar."
"I've studied martial arts for a long time" maikli kong sagot.
"Really?" wika niya, pero yung sinisigarado niya talaga.
"Yep" I said popping the 'P'
"And if that's your concern, you can now leave mister" I added, masyado siyang palatanong.
"Well, that's harsh, cutie nerd." He said in a monotonous voice. I faked laugh. Yeah, right. Thanks my so-called-intimidating-session is freakin' working!
Should I have my reward now?
"Well, anyway, I'm going. Bye cutie nerd" wika niya at naglakad papalapit sa akin pero nung nasa likuran ko siya ay narinig ko ang sinabi niya.
"I've been watching you, cutie nerd."
"Curiosity kills the monkey" I mocked.
I turned down him! I can't believe this.
Sofia's POV
"Wife, can you please stop hugging that shit?"
Tiningnan ko ng maigi siya, dahil sa sinabi niya. How d-dare he!
"Damn! This is my favorite teddy bear, King!" singhal ko sa kanya. Pakialmero eh.
"Yeah, yeah, just don't cuss"
"The school is at mess" he added, I look at him and nod -as a sign of agreeing.
"Well, Aunt Alodia can perfectly handled it." Wika ko habang pilit na inaabot ang nachos. Xander sighed and snake his arms around me and pulled up. Much better, I can finally reach the food but! Our position is really awkward.
"Why so lazy, Zay?" hindi ko nalang siya pinansin at kumuha ng nachos.I really love nachos. Halata naman diba?
It's almost midnight but Xander and I made a deal that the one who can sleep fast (cause we're watching movies) would receive punish in the next day.
We stayed in the position for a minute or two. Hindi ko din alam kong bakit hinahayaan ko si Xander sa mga skinship na ginagawa niya sa akin. These maybe odd but..
Am I that naïve?
Practically naïve in something.
I flinched when I felt his warm breath across the bare skin of my neck. His soft breath sends shivers down to my spine. Ironic but, it makes my heart beats fast. What's this?
Nilingon ko naman si Xander.
Figures. My husband is sleeping while hugging me. Good night everyone, don't let the bed bugs bite.

Accidentally, I've deleted two edited chapters in TFLGIAN (Chapter 14 and 15 that's why the posting of those chapters was delayed) in my iPad. So there would be major changes though I can still remember some scenes (Not the entire scene) and I'm practically crying right now because of my clumsiness. Hope you understand.
Lastly, I will not post updates next week because I need to cope up with lost chapters and will resume on the 26th day of July. Stay tuned!
