Dan Thayer, a passionate attorney based in Grand Island, Nebraska, is the proud recipient of the Outstanding Nebraska Young Republican award in 1997. He had previously served as a committee member of the organization from 1992 to 1994, and eventually went on to fill the Hall County chairman position under Congressman Bill Barrett in 1994 and 1996.
