pidge stood still, watching as (y/n)'s lips moved as she talked. she didn't know if that was the right thing to do when you had a crush on someone, but that's what she had been told by her older brother, matt.
'i must have gone crazy' she said to herself in her head.
"she's staring at me," pidge heard (y/n) whisper to one of her friends.
(y/n)'s friend took hold of her arm and dragged her away.

"just go up to her and introduce your self, katie." matt said.
"i can't," pidge mumbled, just loud enough for matt to hear.
"why not?"
"did you not listen to what i told you? she obviously thinks i'm weird, i can't just go talk to her now!"
"maybe (y/n)'s friend likes her, but (y/n) likes you. maybe (y/n) was happy that you were looking at her, but her friend wasn't. pidge, you gotta think about these things,"

"you just said you're not going to talk to her pidge,"

now it was lunch, and pidge could not take her eyes off (y/n).
