I woke up after the best sleep I've had in a long time, I opened my eyes and was met with his solid bare chest, damn he is so hot. His arm wrapped around my side and my head resting on his shoulder
"Morning Vi" I looked up and saw him smiling down at me
"Morning Bones" I smile back and reach up until our lips meet. He pulls my body on top of his and I straddle his hips, his hand runs through my hair as he deepens the kiss and I rest my hands on his shoulders. He rolls us over so his body is pinning mine to the bed, his lips move, leaving kisses across my jaw and to my neck, I moan as he sucks on the sensitive skin before moving to my collar bone
"That's how I want to wake up every morning" he says lifting his head to look into my eyes
"Me too" I say blushing slightly, he kisses my lips softly and then climbs off, heading into the bathroom. I get up and head downstairs to make coffee.
I walk into the kitchen and turn on the coffee machine. Suddenly I hear someone knocking on my front door and I jump. I grab a knife from the drawer and slip it into my underwear under my t-shirt. I walk over to the front door and see Mick standing there
"Mick what are you doing here?" I say swinging the door open and running into his arms.
"It's been a month, my sources say the heat has died down so I wanted to see how you're doing Lucy" he says hugging me tightly
"Who the fuck is this?" I hear from behind me, I turn and see Bones coming down the stairs
"Bones, this is my dads best friend Mick, Mick this is my friend Bones" I say letting Mick go and walking over to Bones
"Nice to meet you Bones" Mick says walking over holding his hand out. Bones shakes his hand but I can tell from their eyes they don't like each other already
"Why don't we all sit and have coffee" I say walking into the kitchen, they follow and we sit at the table
"I would love to stay Mick, but I have work in an hour, maybe we could meet for lunch?" I ask putting my empty cup in the sink
"I can't stay, I need to get back, but I'm glad to see you're settling in well, we'll talk soon" Mick says standing up and kissing my forehead before walking to the door
"Nice to meet you Mick, don't worry about Violet, I'll make sure she's safe" Bones says
"Yes, thank you Bones, goodbye Violet" Mick says as he leaves. I watch him get in his car and drive away. I head upstairs and quickly get dressed in black ripped jeans and a band tshirt. I grab my boots and slip my knife in, before grabbing my bag and heading downstairs. I set the alarm and lock the front door, bones pulls me into him and kisses me
"I gotta get to the garage, but I'll see you tonight?" He asks running his hand through my hair
"Sure, meet me here? I'll cook" I say smiling, after another kiss I head for my truck and he gets on his motorcycle.
I arrive at the tattoo shop and head inside
"Morning guys" I say as I walk into the kitchen area, I grab a bottle of water and head to my room. I turn on the sound system and start cleaning up and setting up ready for my first client of the day
"Some one is in a good mood" Needles says leaning in the doorway
"Just slept well" I smile
"That wouldn't have anything to do with Bones not coming back to the clubhouse last night, would it?" Needles says with a wink, I feel the heat spread across my cheeks, he laughs
"I'm just messing with you Violet, nice to see you both happy" he says before turning and walking away.
The day was fun, I had three clients and Matt came in to ask me to design something for his leg. I said goodbye to the guys and climbed in my truck. As I'm driving I notice the same black escalade behind me, ok Dad, first time I'm using this training. I slam my foot on the gas and speed off, I turn three times and head down a side street. I may just be paranoid, but I swear that escalade was following me. I use the back roads to get back to my house and head inside. I go down to the basement and check the security system, then I go into the weapon room and grab a couple of extra guns, I stash four around the house and two in my car. Yeah, I'm being paranoid. I head into the kitchen, turn on some music and start cooking.
Bones POV
I pull up at Violets house and climb off my motorcycle, as I walk up to the front door I can hear her singing, I smile and knock on the door. I see her jump and laugh as she comes over to let me in
"Fuck you scared me" she says as I follow her inside
"Sorry Vi, good day?" I ask as we head into the kitchen
"Yeah, I had fun, Matt wants me to design something for his leg I have a few ideas. I hope you like Italian food, it's my mothers recipe" she says serving up.
"This is amazing, don't let the club know you can cook like this or they'll have you at the clubhouse every night" I say between mouthfuls
"Another skill I got from my mom, she even thought about opening a restaurant before she died" she replies, we were interrupted by my cell phone ringing
"Hello"
"Bones its Bear, we got a problem, Knuckles and Crystal were attacked by The Diablos, I'm calling everyone in, but I can't get hold of Doc or the prospect."
"Shit, how bad?"
"Knuckles took two gunshots and Crystal has been stabbed"
"Fuck, who knows how to treat gunshots?"
"Prospect, but we can't find him"
"I can help, my dad made me learn in case one of us took a hit" Violet interrupts
"Bear, give me five minutes, Violet says she can help, I'll bring her down" I say ending the call
"Lets go Vi, Knuckles is shot and Crystals stabbed" I say grabbing my jacket
"Wait, my kit is downstairs" she says running to the basement door, she enters a code and runs down the stairs, I follow
"What the fuck is this?" I ask walking into a room with five monitors and three doors leading off, she comes out from the second door holding a med bag
"I'll explain, but not now, let's get to the clubhouse" she pushes me up the stairs and we jump on my motorcycle as I speed off to the clubhouse.
I pull up and Violet jumps off my bike running for the door. I follow her and we head into the bar, Crystal is sat on a stool next to Knuckles, who is lying on a table. Violet goes straight to Knuckles and starts working on his wounds
"What the fuck happened?" I ask Crystal
"They tried to take me, they stabbed me when I fought back and shot Knuckles for trying to protect me, Knuckles shot one of them and they jumped back in their van and left. We were only walking from the Salon to the bar, it was right in the middle of town." She says with tears in her eyes, I pull her into a hug and she turns back to hold Knuckles hand while Violet continues to work
"He's going to be ok Crystal, the bullets haven't hit anything vital, I'll stitch him up and he'll be good as new, then I can stitch that for you." Violet says pointing to Crystals arm.
"Everyone, church, now." Bear roars across the bar. I give Violet a quick kiss before heading through to the meeting room.
"The Diablos tried to kidnap an old lady on our territory. I will not stand for this. I'm calling a lockdown, all old ladies and kids to stay at the clubhouse and not to leave without a two man escort. Circuit have you found Doc and Prospect yet?'
"I've found Doc, he's at his clinic, he didn't answer our calls because he was with a patient, he'll call when he's done and he'll head over here. Prospect is still not answering his cell but I tracked his cell and he's at his girls house, probably too busy being balls deep to answer" circuit says with a smirk
"Ok, now they're accounted for we need to decide how we deal with The Diablos, I'll open the floor to suggestions and we'll vote on it." Bear says
After an hour of coming up with a plan for The Diablos we head out into the bar and I find Violet laying out trays of food
"Guys, I've cooked for any who haven't eaten" she says putting out some plates and then moving over to opening beers for the guys, she looks up at me and smiles before handing me a beer
"Oh my god Violet, you can cook every night." Erica says with a mouthful of food, Violet laughs
"I told you" I say pointing to Violet with my beer
"I would be happy to, I love cooking" she says looking at me and winking. After she's served everyone she comes over and sits on my lap
"You did good" I say before kissing her, she blushes and wraps her arms around my neck.
"Were on lockdown so we'll stay here for a few days until the situation is dealt with." I say stroking her back
"Ok, I guess I'll just sleep in your t-shirt instead of my dads" she says laughing.
People start heading off to their rooms and I find Violet laughing with Erica
"You ready for bed Vi?" I ask wrapping my arm around her waist, she nods, says goodnight to Erica and we head up to my room. I head over to my dresser and give Violet one of my t-shirts, she goes into the bathroom to change and I strip down to my boxers and climb into bed. A few minutes later she comes out and climbs in next to me, I pull her body against mine and she rests her head on my chest
"Want to talk about what's in your basement Vi?" I ask stroking her arm
"Tomorrow" she whispers before drifting off to sleep. I watch her sleep for a while before drifting off myself.
