I woke up with someone jumping on me.
"Danni, I swear if you don't get off of me." I threatened.
"I'm not Danni." Niall said.
I rolled my eyes and groaned. "It's not a school day, let me sleep." I told them.
"But Danni wanted to go to the zoo. So get ready." Niall said.
I rolled my eyes and sighed. "Fine, we can go." I said.
Niall smiled and I got up an went to get ready. After I got ready I headed downstairs. I saw Danni on Harry's lap talking to the guys. I rolled my eyes. She is going to have guys want her. But I'm going to make sure she doesn't end up like Catherine.
"Ali!" I heard someone scream. I jumped up and I saw Louis smilin at me.
"You ready?" he asked me.
I nodded. "Yeah, let's go." I said.
Louis started jumping up and down with Danni. "Louis you are such a child." Zayn said.
He smiled. Then Liam came downstairs. "Alright, let's go." he said.
We all piled into the car and guess where I had to sit? Right by Zayn that's who!

Zayn's POV
I thought about what Ali said last night. She really does like me? Even though I'm like the worst guy in the world. I mean of course I'm hot look at me. But I'm not a good person. I can't see how she fancies me. I mean a girl like her!! She is like the perfect girl ever! Her laugh, the way she takes care of Danni likes she is her own daughter. I shook my head. Okay, ill admit it, I fancy her. I looked at her and she was looking out the window not saying a word, she was in her own world. One of the things I like about her. She can easily get distracted. I smiled a bit.
"Zayn!" I heard Harry scream.
I jumped and turned to him.
"Yes?" I asked. He smirked. I'm going to kill that boy if he says anything!
"Oh nothing, just seein if you were in this world or not." he said.
I rolled my eyes. I looked at Ali again. We really needed to talk. I leaned over towards her.
"Ali." I said, but she didn't hear me.
"Ali." I said a bit louder shaking her. She looked around.
"What Zayn?" she asked me.
"We need to talk later when we are alone." I told her.
I saw the nervousness on her eyes. She only nodded.
"Alright! We are here!" Liam said.
Louis started doing his own dance. I rolled my eyes at how much of a child he is even though he is the oldest out of all of us.
We got out of the car and Liam went to get our tickets. Harry and Louis were acting so childish wanting to inside of the zoo.
"Guys, relax, Liam will be back soon with the tickets." Niall said trying to calm them down.
Finally, Liam came with the wristbands and gave them to us. We all went in and I felt someone pulling on my pants. I looked an I saw Danni. I smiled down at her.
"Is there something you need Danni?" I asked her.
She smiled widely at me. "Can you give me a piggy back ride?" she asked me.
I sighed and knelt down. She squealed and jumps on my back. I laughed, and then I looked up and I saw Ali smiling at me. I winked at her and I think she blushed but quickly turned to talk to Niall before I could tell.
Harry dragged us all to the lions first.
"Aren't they cool?? They are like big cats!" Harry said excitedly.
"Uhh Harry? They are big cats." I said.
His face dropped. "Oh...." he said.
I rolled my eyes and chuckled. Then Danni started jumping on my back.
"Ooo lion!!" she jumped off my back and ran to the glass. The lion was so much bigger than her. I laughed at her and how she is so fascinated by them.
After the lions we went towards the reptile room. When we got there, Ali looked unsure of the place.
"Ali, you alright?" I asked her.
She nodded. "Yeah, just not a huge fan of reptiles." she said rubbing her arm.
Okay, this is my chance to talk to her. "Wait right here." I told her.
She looked confused, but she nodded. I ran to the guys before they went in. "Hey guys, I'm going to stay with Ali, she isnt a fan of reptiles." I told them.
They nodded, but Liam winked at me. "Just don't get into much trouble. Meet us back at the entrance at 5." Liam said
I nodded. "Yes sir."
Liam laughed and I went back to Ali who was just looking around not knowing what effect she has on me. She looked at me and smiled. "So what are we going to be doing?" She asked me.
"Anything til 5. That is when we have to meet tem at the entrance." I told her. She nodded.
We then started walking to who knows where. "So where do you want to go?" I asked her.
She thought about it. "Let's go to the marine part!" she said excited.
I laughed. "Alright, let's go."
We walked there and it looked like she wanted to run. I'm guessing she loves marine animals. I loved to see that smile on her face. I hope I will be one of the reasons someday.
Ali and I got to te marine animal part of the zoo and they had a polar bear first.
It just looked at us. Ali then put her hand on the glass as did the bear. I thought it was so cool I took a picture of it and saved it in my phone.
We finally reached the tank that goes over our heads. Ali looked hesitant about it. "What are you afraid of?" I asked her.
She looked up. "That the glass will break and the sharks will eat me." she said. I chuckled a bit and I held out my hand.
"Nothing is going to hurt you, I promise." I told her truthfully.
She seemed to believe me and she grabbed it sending shock through my arm. We were walking and a shark starting swimming right by us and she jumped and went straight into my arms putting her arms around my torso. I didn't complain at all. I just brought her closer to me.
"Ali, it's alright, your safe." I told her.
She just buried her face in my chest. I'm surprised that she couldn't hear my heart racing. I think it's a good time to talk to her about last night and about how I feel.
"Ali, could we talk?" I asked her.
She looked at me and nodded. "What is it?" she asked.
"About last night and what you said about me." I said.
She let go of me and turned to the tank. "Oh, that..." she said in a hushed tone.
"Yes, I just wanted to know, is it true? Do you like me?" I asked her.
She sighed. "I..... Yes I do. Okay? I like you. What are you going to do now? Make fun of me? Call me names?" she asked. I could hear her voice crack.
I then put my hand on her shoulder. She then turned to me. I could see the tears in her eyes. I can't believe she is about to cry because she thinks I don't like her. She thinks that I will laugh at her face. I then grabbed her and hugged her.
"Ali I would never laugh at your feelings. I actually have to tell you something. I-"
"Well hey guys!!" I heard Louis scream. Are you kidding me? I groaned and let go of Ali which I didn't want to do at all.
"Hey Lou!" Ali said smiling. They hugged and then Lou looked at me funny. I nodded my head towards the side and we walked over while Harry and Ali talked.
"Why are you looking t me like you want to kill me?" he asked.
I sighed. "I was going to tell her... Nevermind." I said.
"You were going to tell her that you like her back weren't you?" he asked.
I just nodded. "Zayn mate, I'm sorry if I would have known-"
"It's fine, maybe another time." I said turning my head to Ali who was laughing at Harry's jokes.
"We can leave and let you two talk." Louis said watching them two as well.
"Lou, you don't have to-"
"Zayn, we will leave so you can tell her alright?" he said.
I smiled and hugged him. "Thanks."
"Anytime. She has changed you in the past three days. I like this Zayn, not that I didn't like the old Zayn, this one let's people in." I smiled.
Then we walked back to Harry and Ali. "Come on Hazza, let's go look at the giraffes." Louis said walking away with Harry.
"Okay, see you two later!" Harry smiled and walked off.
I shook my head and smiled. "You have great friends you know that?" Ali asked me.
I turned to her. "We have great friends." I corrected her.
She smiled. "So what were you saying earlier?" She asked me.
I rubbed the back of my neck nervously. "Uh.... Ali, I'm not good with this. But I actually like you, it's just something about you that has changed me. And I think I like that the fact that you are making me let more people come into my life. So I just want to ask, will you go out on a date with me?" I asked her.
I saw her smile. "Yes, of course I'll go out with you Zayn!" She said.
Then she hugged me. I was taken back a bit, but then I started to hug her back.
"Now let's go back to the guys and go home." She said.
I smiled and took her hand going to find the boys to go home. They aren't going to let this down at all.
