Elijah's POV
Kayla has been depressed ever since Finn died. Kayla is going to get her revenge for Finn's death. Lucien is going to pay for what he did to this family. Benjamin and I were working on his fighting skills so he can protected his brother and sister if something happened to me and Kayla. Kayla and I are officially married now and Kayla is the best woman in the world. After Ben and I got done with our section Kayla came downstairs with a look on her face. "Love what's wrong?" She looked at me. "Lucien. He just called me saying how sorry he was for my loss. I'm going to go find his sorry ass and kill him." I grabbed her arm and stopped her. "Kayla he'll kill you. We don't know what he is. Please wait till we find out what he is." She gave in and I pulled her into me. "I just want to make him pay for what he did." I rubbed her back. "I know Kayla and we will." I placed her in front of me. "We just have to figure out what he is first." "I'm going to find Kol, I need to apologize about last night." I kissed the top of her head and she sped off to find Kol.
Kayla's POV
I looked everywhere for Kol and I couldn't find him. I checked St. Anne's and Kol was sitting at the bar. "Kol." He looked at me. "Kayla what are you doing here. It's not safe to be around me... the Ancestors are keeping me here after Davina brought me back." I didn't care if I was in danger. Kol is my best friend. "Kol... we'll find a way to stop them and-" "Kayla you don't get it!! I'm cursed to kill!! They want me to kill Davina... and I can't.. I won't kill her. That's why they trapped me here." I went behind the bar and poured us some shots of whiskey. "Kol... you won't kill Davina... I won't let that happen." I grabbed my purse that had his steak in it and handed it to him. "I won't be able to do it cause your my best friend.... you're going to have to have Davina do it... I can't Kol.. I can't afford more sadness than I'm already facing...." I fought the tears and took a shot of whiskey. Kol grabbed my hand. "Kayla... you won't lose me. I'll just be in a deep sleep.. I wouldn't want you to do it cause of what happened to Finn..." He placed his other hand on my face and used his thumb to wipe a single tear. "I will always love you darling.. your my best friend and nothing will take me away from my best friend. Not even the ancestors." I touch his hand and smiled. "You always had a way of making me feel better Kol. I'm glad your my best friend. Sorry about last night... I shouldn't of done that." "It's ok darling.. you were upset.. I shouldn't of done that in front of you." Davina walked in. "Hey Davina... I was just coming to apologize to Kol... I can't back later Kol." I kissed the top of his head and sped off.
Cami's POV
I was knock out by someone but I started to wake up. "All the makings of a lovely day." I finally woke up and I looked at my arm and there was a wolf bite. "As, Camille, finally awake. Perfect." I saw that it was Lucien. "You've got a big day ahead of you." I looked at him. "You bit me." "Sampled quite a bit of your blood, actually. It was very tasty. Although more bitter than I expected." I looked at my arm again but better. I gasped. "Oh, my god. I'm gonna die." "Yeah. Apologies. But to be honest, your days were numbered the moment you caught Nik's eye. ''Tis ever thus for those who get close to the bastard. Myself excluded." I heard the tea pot whistling. "Ah, care for tea?" I went to my purse to look for the throwing star of a thousand cuts. "Oh, please, Cami. Have you not learned?" I finally found it. "If you try to fight me, you will always lose." I throw the star and it hits him. I sped off to go to the Mikaelsons.
I walk into the compound and started to called for Klaus. "Klaus? Klaus?" He showed up with Kayla by his side. "What is it?" Kayla knew. "Something happened and you're going to be angry, but Lucien wants you to be angry. He's trying to lure you into a trap." "What did he do?" "Promise me that you won't fly off the handle and do something crazy. Promise me." Klaus lifts up my sleeve and saw the bite mark on my arm. Kayla's eyes turned and she sped off. "Before you lose it... Klaus, look at me. I love you. And I won't let you get yourself killed." I fell into Klaus's arms. "Camille." I started to pant. "I just needed you to know." "I can tell you I love you tomorrow. You're not dying today." Klaus took me to his bedroom and Kayla was gone.
Kayla's POV
Lucien is going to pay for what he did to Cami. I'm not going to lose her the same way I did with Finn. I was walking in the quarter till I bumped into Elijah. "Kayla what are you doing." I looked at my wonderful husband Elijah. "I know I could get myself killed, Elijah. But what Lucien did to Cami is the exact same thing he did to Finn... I'm going to rip his throat out and then his heart." I started to walk away but forgetting Elijah was a vampire too he sped in front of me. "I'm not going to lose you... I just got you back.. you're my life and if you'd die..." Tears were forming in my loves eyes. "I would have to spend eternity without you by my side." As usual Elijah was right. I looked into Elijah's eyes. "I'll come home with you... but we need to get Vincent's help." He nods and we sped off together to find Vincent.
Kol's POV
"You just leave. No goodbye, nothing." I looked at her in shock. "What are you doing here?" "Tried to use magic to track you. Then I realized you were hiding in somewhere magic couldn't reach." "Davina you should go." "Why would you leave without telling me. Why would you come back if you weren't going to tell me? Why are you walking away?" "I didn't want to go. Nor was it my intention to come back. The Ancestors won't let me leave. The second I got to the city limits I started to desiccate. I'm cursed, love. Those witch spirits have their hooks deep inside of me. They allow me no piece. Just a hunger that I can't control." "Look, there's got to be a fix. Just promise me you'll never leave me again." I looked at Davina. Her phone started to ring and it was Marcel. "I'm in the middle of something." "Davina, we have a situation. Lucien went after Cami. Now she managed to get away but he bit her." "What? Is she--" "No, no, no, she's still alive. Klaus is with her at the compound. I'm heading there now. Let me come get you." "No I'll meet you there." "Be careful, all right? Lucien could be anywhere." She hung up the phone.
Klaus's POV
Kayla was with Elisha. I went downstairs to where my ex was comatose. "Klaus?" I was a little startled when Cami staid my name. "You should be laying down." She walks over to me. "You should be getting me soup. It's the one advantage to being sick or we could just stand here and stare at your comatose ex." "I was wrong to deny you the satisfaction of revenge." It was silent for a moment. "I know I'm supposed to be this big, bad vampire, but all of a sudden I'm not so hung up on revenge. Am I angry at what Aurora did to me? Yeah. And I've been living in fear of what else she might do, but all of that anger and fear, it's not me. I'm the kind of person that helps people like Aurora. I'm not going to let her take that away from me."
Elijah's POV
I went with Hayley to get Hope from the nanny. "Uh, Mary doesn't want vampires in her cabin. It's probably better if you stay here." "She's aware that you and Hope are under my protection." "Unfortunately, for Mary, that didn't do much for her grandson, did it?" Hayley started to walk away and I ran in front of her. "You know I couldn't prevent that." "Yes, I do. But here we are again with someone else's life on the line. Only this time, I'm taking my 2 year old daughter into a war zone on the off chance that it might save my friend from dying. I mean, do you see how insane our lives have become?" "What do you want me to do?" "I don't know. I just can't keep losing people. First Jack, now we might lose Cami. Who's next? Klaus? Me? You?" "I'm not afraid to die. Neither are you." Kayla sped next to Hayley. "What about me... and Ben and Finnick and Elisha... its bad enough we lost Finn and might lose Cami and you're afraid of me going after Lucien and might get killed but you're not afraid of dying... I'm scared out of my mind Elijah.. I can't afford to lose anyone else. I might be losing Davina cause of Kol's curse." "Kayla's right Elijah you have to stay alive for them." I looked at Kayla. "We fight for those we love. I would fight for you and our children Kayla." Hayley walked away to get Hope and Kayla and I stood there waiting for her. "You would fight for us?" I walked up to her. "My love, my heart, my wife of course I would fight for you and our children. You guys give me life. Nothing, absolutely nothing will take you way from me." I kissed her and Hayley was back with Hope and we drove home.
*A few hours later*
We got back to the compound and Freya took some of Hope's blood and took it to Cami. She came back and shook her head. I held Kayla close to me as she cried.
Kol's POV
Davina came back. "You lied to me." "I warned you there would be consequences." "The Ancestors tampered with the spell I used to bring you back. We knew that. But you didn't tell me how." "It was a dark spell to begin with." "They want you to kill me, right? They want revenge. Why didn't you say something?" "What would you have me say? Thank you for saving me from unending torment, I adore you with all my heart, oh! And by the way, all I want to do is rip out your throat. And the longer I hold out, the worse it gets." "I can protect you myself." "No. Eventually, I'll give in. But there is another way..." I went over to my dagger that Kayla gave me and put vervain on it. "Kayla gave me the dagger. She knew what was going on. She figured it out. I've always hated these bloody things. But we've run out of options." "No, I can fix you." "I know you can.. Kayla knows too... But this is to make certain that you're safe until you do. I think if it's as a short sleep. Easy to endure, knowing that you'll be waiting when I wake, safe and sound." We both were teary eyed. "This isn't fair. I've waited so long to have you back." "Wait a little longer, bring me back when my mind is right. As it is, you can't trust me. Which means you can't love me. Not as I love you." She kissed me and drove the dagger into my heart.
*Later that night*
Klaus's POV
Cami is crying in our little world. "Don't you think for a moment that you failed me. You stayed my hand, quelled my rage. You inspired goodness in me, and unlike all of the souls I've encountered and forgotten in the long march of time, I will carry you with me." We both had tears in our eyes. "I guess that makes me immortal." Cami started to die in my arms. "No, no, no, not yet. Just stay a bit longer." "Do you remember the Bible verse on Sean's headstone?" "The light shine in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it." "I was never naive enough to think that I was your light. But there is light in you. All that anger, the cycle of abuse that Mikael began, you can end it. You have to. So you can be the light for your little girls. Both of them. For Hope and Elisha." Cami died in my arms and tears streaming down my face. "Don't be afraid. You go now where many have gone before you. Where even I will go in time. Just know... There will be no more pain. No more heartbreak. You will find peace." I sat there and held her hand as she died. I heard Kayla crying in Elijah's arms on the floor. "Lucien is going to pay for what he did." I heard Kayla say. She got out of Elijah's grasp and ran off to find Lucien. I sped off after her and got to her before she got to far. "Kayla please... stay.. I need you." She faced me and held me and I held her and we both screamed and cried together. I took Kayla back to the compound still crying with her. We both fell to the floor still holding each other. Cami was one of Kayla's best friends. I heard Davina walking in. "Marcel..." He got out of the chair and hugged Davina and they cried together. Benjamin Finnick and Elisha came to mine and Kayla's side and all three held us. "I can't believe she's gone." Kayla choked out. I lifted up her chin. "Me and you will find a way to kill Lucien. This isn't over Kayla we'll kill him together." I pulled her in tighter.
Davina's POV
I went to go see Kol. "I really wish I could talk to you right now." I looked at him and I touched the dagger. The wind started blowing and everything started shaking.
Kol's POV
I woke up and I was hungry. I went after the first human I saw. I bit into her next and she screamed. I sucked her dry. When I came to I saw I killed Davina. "Davina." I touched her. "No, no, no. Wake up." I bit my wrist and fed her some of my blood. "Wake up." She was gone. "Wake up." I started sobbing. "Wake up." I pulled her close to me and held her and started to cry. "Wake up." She was gone. The Ancestors made me kill the woman I loved dearly.
Hello my originals family. Well Lucien struck again. Camille is dead. The Ancestors made Kol kill Davina. Now she's dead too. What will happen next you may ask? You'll just have to see whats in store for Lucien when Kayla and Klaus get their hands on him.
