"the stars look nice from here right?" you said as you climbed up onto your house roof, taking a seat beside me.
"i mean we could've just looked at it from the balcony, like normal people."
"but doesn't feel more exciting?" you asked as you rested your head on my shoulder, my breath hitching a bit.
"i mean i guess?" i mumbled.
after awhile, an uncomfortable silence fell between us as we watched the night sky.
"wait..." you broke the silence, pointing to the sky. "is that a shooting star?"
i looked to where your hand was pointing and sure enough, there was a shooting star.
"hurry make a wish!" you exclaimed before shutting your eyes tight, and i did the same.
it was quiet for awhile until,
"do you know what i wished for?" you looked at me, waiting for my response.
"hm?"
"for someone to love me."
there was a silence, before you smiled widely at me, your eyes turning into crescents.
"you can always wish, right?"
there was another long pause, "sorry, i made it awkward didn't i?"
i frowned at you, "soonyoung, of course no-" you cut me off.
"what did you wish for, jihoon?"
