The dark reddish haired boy looked at the window as his teacher talked about the subject. He tapped his finger on his desk softly not wanting his teacher to get mad about this noise. As the school bell ring,alarming all the students for lunch time.
"We'll continue this tommorow"The young women said as she stacked her notebooks and books. She then looked at dark red haired boy. "Mister Kotori?may i have a word with you?"She asked the male,which nodded. As he begun to follow his sensei.
"What is it that you need Momo-sensei?"The boy asked. "Your a very smart kid you know Kotori-kun? If you want to keep these grades up...you need to join a club. I know i've tried to help you find a club right for you. But i can't unless you tell me what are the things you like!"
The boy went silent. As the young teacher sighed. "Volleyball..."This made the teacher look at the boy. "I like volleyball..."The boy said with his monotone voice. "The i'll give you the applications to you later so you can Join-""but i can't join..."this made the young teacher confuse.
"I can't join....Can't you see?im broken...i have no more feathers in my wings to spread...im a flightless bird..."The male said. This made the young teacher sigh.
"Alright then...Go back to your class"The male did what he was told and went back to his classroom.

"Ah,Momo-sensei? What brings you here?"Daichi,the captain of the males volleybal team,Asked. "I need a favor from you kids"She replied.
The team looked confuse at the Teacher. "I need you to convice a student to join your club,his name is Kotori Mayazaki. His a second year student from class 3"
"Kotori...Bird of luck?"the gingered hair boy,Hinata said. As the female teacher nodded, "in exchange,i'll give you a little help of anything you need"She offered.
"So...Get this Kotori guy join the team, in exchange of anything we need of help"Sugawara,the vice president,said.
"This Kotori guy sounds nice" Hinata commented. "As long as he stays away from our precious Kiyoko. He'll survive!" Tanaka,the wing spiker, Commented as well. As one by one make a comment about the mysterious boy
"Okay then Momo-sensei!we have a deal!"Daichi said. As Momo nodded "oh and beware! His a Hard task!"She warned them as she left them confuse about this warning.

Kotori fixed his things and left his classroom. He was left behind all of the other students went to they're clubs.
He was interupted when a certain silver haired boy came to him.
"Hello?"Sugawara greeted. "What is it that i can help?"Kotori asked,he took time to inspect on the silver haired boy. While Suga did the same thing, he studied his messy dark red hair,his paper pale skin, and of course his mercury eyes that was deep.
"I would like to invite you the volleyball club!"He offered. "Im sorry but i have to decline..and now excuse me i have to go"He replied quickly. As he went around Suga and walked away.

Kotori made his way to the gates. Before he could even get inside,a soft tap on the shoulder was given to him. He turned around to see a green-ish haired boy beside him was a tall french frie.
"What can i do for you?"Kotori asked. "I would to invite you-""Sorry i have to decline that offer to the volleyball team"Kotori replied quickly again. As he turned on his heels and walked inside the gates. Leaving the two duo at the gates.

"He is a hard task...."Daichi said as the team agreed on him. Kotori rejected everyones invitation to the club....Even Takeda-sensei.
Kiyoko and Kageyama were the only one that hasn't askrd Kotori yet. "I'll ask him"

Kotori packed his things and headed out of his classroom. He was about to leave when a small tap on the shoulder had been given to him. He looked and saw a beautiful girl. "Kotori-kun,can you help me with something at the gym?"Kiyoko asked. Before Kotori replied she immediately grabbed his risk and headed to the gym.
Before Kiyoko opened the door Kotori can hear squicks and balls bouncing. He had to admit,i missed those sound even tho it hurts in the ears. Kiyoko then openned half of the door which only showed her not Kotori. Everyone looked at her as she nodded at them. She fully openned the door revealing A tall dark red-dish haired boy.
Kiyoko then walked inside as you followed her. Everyone still looking at you two. "Umm...Kiyoko-senpai...What exactly do you need help with?"Kotori asked her. "Nothing much,your a great observer. I need help with observing everyone. If thats okay with you Kotori-kun?"Kiyoko replied. As Kotori nodded
Everyone begun to practice. You observed everyones movement,how everyone toss,spike,recieve,and serve. Yamaguchi's serve was a little short. ,Kageyamas tosses were too fast,Hinatas Recieves needs work,and more.
Hinata and Kageyama showed the red head boy they're Quick duo skill. He was amazed by this as he clapped his hands. This made the two boys blush a little by the praise they were given.
"I suggest we play a little practice match"Daichi said to the team. "But....were not even...."Suga replied then all eyes were on Kotori. "If your thinking im gonna say "SURE! Why not" your wrong....im not that gulible"He replied as he grabbed his things.
Everyone looked at him (but tsukki). Kageyama then held on his shoulder making Kotori look at him. "Why can't you just join us?"He said. "Why does it matters if i join or not,Tobio?"Kotori replied.
"We need someone like you,i've seen your spikes. You and that Shrimp are the only one that can match my speed!is it because of that-""i told you before,and i'll say it again. Can't you see? im broken,I have no more feathers in my wings to spread...im just a flightless bird"Kotori said.
Everyone was looking at Kotori,then at Kageyama. They didn't know they had a history together,the were best buds at Kitagawa Daiichi Kageyama, Kotiro, Kindaichi, And Kunimi. Kotori helped Kageyama with some spikes,seeing that Oikawa never showed him how to. Kotori was the nicest person,before the....
Incident
The ball made its way to Kotori,the world moved slowly as all the Kitagawa Daiichi volleyball players looked at him. As his hand made its contact with the ball slamming it to the other side of the team.....
The ball bounced on the floor as that sound echoed in the room. Cheers were louder than before. Screaming of the winners team.

The other team....Kotori's spike was blocked. Everyone looked at Kotori,knowing that he was going to blame himself for they're lost. Iwazumi made his way to his teammate. "Kotori"Kotori turned around,he looked at Iwazumi. As his eyes were now dull as ever. "I-im sorry"Kotori mumbled,with out tears,stutters,or such.
Kotori made his way out of the court,going to the restroom to be alone. He looked at the mirror he looked at his eyes deeply. He took out a sharp metal out of his pockets. Before the metal made contact with his soft pale risk. An arm took his hand, "what are you doing?!"Kotori looked up the window and saw Oikawa. "Just making a mark for my newest mistake"Kotori replied. Oikawa made a closer look into his risk,his eyes widen when he saw a very invisible marks on his risk. Sure it was invisible,but with light very bright and the light kinda close to you,you could see the lines.
"HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN DOING THIS" Kotori turned around to look at Oikawa. "Ever since i joined the team"Oikawa looked at the red head with shock eyes. "And why would you care about me anyway? Im the one that made the team lose! I should be hated! I should-"Before Kotori would finish,a fist made its way to his face. "SHUT UP!"Oikawa yelled as it echoed in the restroom. "If volleyball makes you cut like this then..."Oikawa paused for a minute. Making sure his decision is final. "Your out of the team..."Kotori was shot by that sentence as his head quickly looked up to fave Oikawa. "Fine...But"Kotori looked at Oikawa. "We never tell this to anyone....Not even Iwazumi or the couch. Just the two of us"Kotori demanded. Oikawa nodded, "i'll be confiscating this razor then"Oikawa said placing the metal in his pocket. "Tooru promise me this..."Oikawa looked at Kotori. "Erase me from your life,i'll be going to a different school. I won't be going to Aoba josai with the rest, so just forget that i exist otherwise you'll be sad"Kotori smiled but Oikawa tried to complain with this promise,Kotori left already left the restroom.
How does Kageyama know this? Did Oikawa tell him?well lets just say...he was in the bathroom stalls. He heard everything.
End of The incident
Kotori left the gym. Kageyama told they're history how they bonded and what not.

"Kotori-senpai!!"Hinata yelled at the gates. Kotori looked behind and saw him. "Im not going to join. You can't make me..."Kotori said.
"Why do you think your broken?"Kotori looked at the gingered hair boy. "Is it because you think your weak?"Kotori looked a little sad...he then nodded.
"Well don't be sad! We all are born weak! Thats means we still have time to become strong! We all get to fly. Even a broken Bird can fly. Theres no such things as flightless crows. We all can fly to the top if we worked hard and strong"Kotori looked at Hinata with Wide eyes. His mouth formed a soft smile.
Kotori turned around. "Expect something Wonderful tommorow Hinata-kun"Kotori smiled as he walked to his house. Leaving a confused Hinata near the Gates.
"Something wonderful?"
