I run my fingers delicately through the purple bath water, listening to the bath bomb fizz that was responsible for turning the bath water purple in the first place. I coo quietly at the feeling of the water rushing between my fingers, and a puddle of the water appearing in the palm of my hand, then fading away as it poured off my skin. I look at Ethan sitting across from me, a cigarette between his lips, the black eyeliner under his eyes running down his cheeks, his eyes closed before they open slowly and flicker to my collarbone, then my jawline, then my eyes. He was slow and careful with his moments as he examined me, exhaling some smoke out from around his cigarette, then he pursed his lips. "Sel," he begins, saying the nickname for my real name, Selena. "I think the water is getting rather cold." his voice was soft, yet deep and raspy. I eye his cigarette curiously, then look down at the water, pink and blue reflective bubbles appearing in it, then back at him, the heat of the water making the eyeliner on his cheeks run even more, the black droplets of liner dripping off his jaw. He smirks weakly at me, I don't even smile at him, just gazing at his sleeves of tattoos on his arms, then at his thick, dark hair, and his miniature silver hoop earrings. I cough slightly from the smoke of his cigarette before hopping out of the bath, watching the purple bath water run down my bare legs. I then wrap a towel around me, the tips of my hair wet from accidentally slipping in the edge of the water. Ethan stands up slowly and my eyes shift to his torso, then just a bit lower, my face erupting in a rosy glow, so I look back at the mirror, fixing my hair carefully before walking out of the bathroom. Ethan and I weren't dating. We had just done some.... dirty things. Once. About 10 minutes ago we finished, and I was hurrying to gather my clothes and go home. I was NOT going to fall for the bad boy at my college. He was a freshman, and so was I. We were both eighteen. He grabbed my wrist quickly, which took me by surprise, and I look at his eyes, he makes eye contact with me, licking his upper teeth slowly and sexily as he removes the damp, black hair-tie from my wrist, then uses it to tie his hair back in a dark man-bun. I sigh in relief, looking down at the floor. "Thank you." he mumbles in his raspy, deep voice. I nod. "D-don't mention it." I manage a smile but his face stays in a frown, I slowly cup his face between my hands, my nails painted a deep, dark blue. He somehow frowns more as I wipe the running eyeliner off his cheeks with my thumbs, he exhales softly and slowly, which relaxes me for some reason, and I take my hands off his face as he clears his throat. "Baby girl," he begins, I tilt my head slightly at the nickname but allow him to call me it. "you were good in that bath tub. Are you sure it was your first time...?" He grins slowly. I scoff, rolling my eyes as I pull my shirt over my bare chest, not bothering to put a bra on, then I wiggle my blue jeans on, then slip on my shoes and socks. "Just when I thought you could say something pleasant." I gently punch his arm - he pretends it hurts. "Be here by 2 a.m." he mumbles, checking his watch. It was 5:30 p.m., just when I had to start getting ready to go home for dinner. I nod silently. There was a reason I did everything for this selfish, cruel boy. I didn't want to get in trouble with him. And why would I be so afraid of him?
