*Daichi's POV*
I wake up around 3am, realising that it's colder than usual. Still blurry, I shuffle to the door facing the garden. Maybe I didn't shut the door properly, causing a draft. My vision slowly clears and I see a figure sitting by the door, head slumped. I half panic, now knowing fully well who the familiar figure is. I hurry over.
The steady rise and fall of his chest calms me down. Isn't he cold? I scoop him up bridal style and carry him to his futon. Has he even been eating well? Suga feels so light that it scares me. I tuck him into the futon, looking at his face fixed in a smile. It pacifies me and I head back to sleep, not without pressing a kiss on his forehead. Today will be a beautiful day.
