What the heck??
Did he just say...marry Taehyung??
Tzuyu: MARRY? What? How? Why? I'm dating Jungkook!
I freaked. My breathing started picking up and my vision started blurring up in front of me
I suddenly felt a hand on my back. It was Taehyung. He didn't look at me but he kept on rubbing his hand over my back. My breathing slowly returned to normal and my vision started to stabilise
What was that??
I've always had these mini panic attacks. I've had them ever since I was little and I honestly don't know why. Hearing JYP-nim said we're getting married surprised me so much that I had one of those mini panic attacks again
Taehyung: You are kidding right?
PD: Of course not. Think about it! This could be good for the public, they get their favourite couple and you get more publicity!
Tzuyu: And why can't it be me and Jungkook? I mean, you know, since we are actually dating?!
JYP: You and Taehyung—the Taetzu ship as they call—is more popular among the public. Besides, the public doesn't even know you and Jungkook are together, we can just make up lies about how you and Taehyung have been dating for a long time now
This is sick
Taehyung: And what if we say no?
PD: We're not accepting no for an answer. You two just have to live together, and if you don't like it, then you can get a divorce after a year, when your contract is up
PD-nim then handed us our contracts and we were dismissed
I was feeling sick to my stomach. Seriously, how can they do this??
I went out and saw Jungkook in the car with the windows rolled down, waving me in. I was heading to the car when Taehyung grabbed my arm
Taehyung: We need to talk
Tzuyu: I can't deal with this now, I haven't made a decision yet, talk tomorrow
Taehyung: You know our careers will be over if we reject this right? We have no choice
Tzuyu: *deep breath* I'll call you tomorrow
I was about to head towards the car when I suddenly thought of something
Tzuyu: Hey Taehyung?
Taehyung: Yeah?
Tzuyu: Thanks for, you know...earlier, when you calmed me down
Taehyung: Couldn't let you cause a scene there right? *laughs*
I rolled my eyes, of course this boy has to find ways to diss me when I though he was being nice
Tzuyu: Yeah, bye *rolls eyes*
I got in the car and Jungkook looked at me with a accusing face
Jungkook: Was that Taehyung? And what was that?
Tzuyu: Long story, I just really can't deal with this right now. I'll explain everything tomorrow...
Jungkook still looked at me with a accusing face but he didn't push me further and started the car
The whole ride back to the dorm was silent, both of us didn't know what to say and I could tell Jungkook was a little between upset and concerned
We arrived at the dorm and I kissed Jungkook goodbye. I was heading in the dorm when Jungkook called me
Jungkook: TZUYU!
I turned back and saw him running towards me
Jungkook: Stay at our dorm tonight, I really need to know what's going on. Seeing you so upset and not knowing what's wrong is driving me crazy
Seriously, puppy dog eyes? How can I say no that that face??
Tzuyu: I...fine, I'll stay
We went to their dorm and I immediately took a shower and changed into my PJs
Jungkook: What did JYP-nim said Tzu? Tell me
Tzuyu: You're...not gonna like it
Jungkook: If it makes you upset, then I don't care what it is, I just want to think of a way to make you happy again
Tzuyu: Well, I'm...in an arranged marriage, with Ta-Taehyung
Jungkook face changed from concern to shock to confused and to anger and sadness
Tzuyu: Before you say anything, I haven't agreed to it yet. JYP-nim called me and Taehyung to the company. PD-nim was there as well and they said in order to give us more popularity and publicity, we need to marry each other to cause drama and tabloids
Saying all that out myself just made me even more sick to my stomach
Jungkook: B-but why you and Taehyung?? Can't it be the other members that are not dating?
Tzuyu: My thoughts exactly *sigh*
Jungkook: Yo-you're not gonna accept it right? Please tell me you aren't
Jungkook inched closer to me on the bed and caressed my face while looking deeply into my eyes
I badly want to kiss him on the lips and tell him I'm not going to do all of that, but I can't...the company could destroy me if I rejected the contract
Tzuyu: Kookie...I don't want to do this, I really don't
I took a deep breath
Tzuyu: But...the company...they said they won't accept no for an answer and...
Jungkook suddenly laid a finger to my lips shushing me as he inched closer to me on the bed
Jungkook: Actually, never mind what I just said...As much as I don't want you to go marry another guy and as much as I'll be jealous of Taehyung. I need to think of you as well, not just me. It'll be selfish to say you shouldn't do this when we both know it will destroy your future if you don't accept this
The edge of Jungkook's lips curved up, forming a small smile. He placed a kiss on my forehead and tucked a strand of hair behind my ear
Jungkook: Promise me you'll still be with me when you're married. I don't care if it is considered 'cheating'. I won't be able to control myself
Tzuyu: I promise, we'll still be together
I leaned in and kissed Jungkook as he kissed me back
Jungkook: I love you Tzu
Tzuyu: I know
Why can't I say I love you back?
