Waking up this morning, it was the first day back to school since winter break. I rolled out of bed and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and washed my face. Once I was dressed, I walked out of the bathroom and put my sandals on, grabbing my bag while heading out of my room. I quietly walked downstairs trying not to wake my parents, especially my dad because I don't want to go to school with bruises, I'm still trying to recover from last time. I walked out of the house without eating per usual and got in my car to drive to Nikki's house. When I pulled up and honked my horn, she and Tina both walked out of the house. I can't stand Tina, she has a really bad rep, but that’s her business and not mine, so I try to stay out of it. They both got in the car and before I said anything
"Don't say anything, my mom told me to bring her" Nikki said looking straight ahead
I looked at her "Ok and by the way you look really cute as usual" then turned around to see what Tina was wearing "Umm.. Tina aren't you supposed to be wearing clothes" Nikki laughed
"Haha very funny Alex, but I am" Tina rolled her eyes with a sarcastic tone
"Well excuse me miss easy access" I at this point I was grinning too hard and Nikki laughed again
"You know what Alex shut the hell up" Now she was getting mad.
"Ok I was just saying" I laughed.
I drove to Jenni house and when I got there she was in the front playing catch with the twins, I honked the horn and she ran over to the car and got in. She looked at me and Nikki with a Why the fuck is Tina in the car look. "Before you start a cussing spree her mom made her come" I said pulling out of the driveway
"Are you fucking kidding me” She exarated “Why couldn't she just walk by the looks of it, she would have gotten picked up on the corner"
Jenni looked Tina up and down while Nikki and I just shook our heads. One thing about Jenni is she loves to cuss no matter what occasion it is, she'll die cussing someone out. We finally got to school, so I parked my car in the junior/senior parking lot, grabbed my bag and walked in the school with Nikki and Jenni while Tina ran off to her friends. I swear everytime we walk past a group of guys they would always whistle and hoot at us like we’re a piece of meat, it’s just annoying at this point. We just ignored them and continued to our lockers which were right next to each other. When we got to our lockers, we all had history for first period, so I grabbed my book then looked at Jenni's backpack
"Jenni I love your backpack"
"Thank you I like your sandals" she said closing her locker
"Thank you, but no one ever looks better than Nikki" Jenni nodded her head agreeing
Suddenly it got quiet, too quiet. Then this eerie feeling come over you and when it gets like that the boys are coming "Maybe we should start walking to class" I said closing my locker
"Too late" Nikki pointed behind me and I knew trouble was coming
I turned around to see Isaac looking at me with that ugly smirk on his face " Hey baby where do you think you're going?" he said putting his hand on the lockers trying to look cool
"To class and don't call me baby" I said rolling my eyes and turning away from him then he pulled my hair "Oww Isaac let go of my hair" Wincing as the pain shoots through my scalp
"How about this?" Then proceeded to punch me in the stomach. Now you would think that a guy shouldn't punch a woman, but nope not Isaac he doesn't care. I dropped my book and held my stomach fighting the tears that were brimming in my eyes then when I could finally stand up John was poking Jenni in the side. I got the strength to walk over to them and pull John by his hoodie to move him away from her
"Leave her alone" I twirled him around and he was now standing next to Isaac, now that I recovered from that punch I was pissed "Why don't you three do us a favor and go found some cheerleaders to makeout with" but when I said that Isaac was extremely pissed off
Every time he gets like that, he clenches his teeth and you can see the outline of his jaw. He walked up to me and pushed me into the locker really hard, I cringed in pain as he held me down by my arms so I couldn't move
"Listen here you ugly ass girl you don't tell me where I'm supposed to go or what I'm supposed to do, you got that" When I didn't answer he tightened his grip on my wrist causing me to flinch in more pain, I nodded my head "Good girl" he let me go and I slid to the floor as he walked away, the girls came over to me and helped me up while Nikki gave me my book and we walked to class.
I thought to myself this is not going to be a nice semester. I walked in class and straight to the back rows of seats, just because I'm smart doesn't mean I have to sit in the front. Jenni sat in front of me and Nikki sat on the left of her, then the boys came in and the bell rang. Mrs.Goyak walked in and told the boys to find some empty sits which happen to be in the area where the girls and I were sitting, the teacher then said once we were seated these would be our permanent seats
I let out a really loud pout and everyone looked at me. "Miss Rivera if there's a problem you can always leave my class" She said in a stern voice
"No there's no problem" I tried not to have an attitude while answering her
"Alright then please stay quiet" She then turned to the board and continued talking
Jenni looked at me and made a funny face mocking the teacher which made me giggle then a piece of paper came flying at me. I didn't have to search for the person who did it, because when I looked over at Isaac he said whispering for me to shut up, I just rolled my eyes and Jenni kept making me laugh the whole period, that’s the benefits to having class with her. As class went on it got more and more boring to the point that I was about to fall asleep then Jenni poked me and handed me a note. I looked at her then the note and opened it
"Wake your lazy ass up"

I wrote back and handed it back to him, he looked at me with that stupid smirk then wrote something and gave it back, I looked at what he wrote then rolled my eyes so hard I thought they would pop out my head

I gave it back to him and he made a fake hurt face then wrote

I gave it back to him once more then he started mouthing something but I can't read lips "What the heck are you saying" I whispered
"I said that’s weird"
I just shooed him off then the bell rang, I woke up Jenni who was the one that ended up falling asleep then we walked to our lockers.
*skip to lunch*
I walked into the cafeteria and sat down at the table where me and the girls sit at all the time. They walked over and sat down, Nikki sat next to me and Jenni sat in front of us.
"Oh no here comes the gorilla gang" Jenni said looking over at Tina and her so called friends walking over to the table
"Well well well isn't it the three peas in a pod, where are the boys getting your lunches?" She's just mad that they only look at her for one thing
"I don't know where they are and I don't care" Jenni made her hand talk imitating Tina and it made me laugh
"What are you two smiling about?" Tina not impressed by us in the slightest
"Well if you must know bitch, we were smiling at how fucking ridiculous you guys look in those clothes. Go work on a pole you hoe" Jenni was not having it today
Nikki and I just started laughing. Tina turned bright red storming out of the cafeteria with her minions in tow, as they left my best guy friend came over "Timmy" I squealed and gave him a big bear hug
"Hi to you too Alicat" he said laughing
Timmy is my bestest guy friend in the whole wide world, I love him to death, but he needs a girlfriend badly. He’s told me he’s liked me once but I only think of him as a friend, it’s sad but it’s just how it is. The girls, Timmy and I were still eating and talking when Isaac and the boys came walking over here.
"Hey nerd" Isaac said sitting on the table, I ignored him and he pulled my hair again, "Don't you hear me talking to you?"
"What do you want Isaac" Trying to get out of the grip he had on my hair
"Oh you know just to mess with you" he pushed my head down so hard I almost hit my it on the table
"Why don't you leave her the fuck alone Isaac" Jenni said standing up
He let go of my hair and stepped in front of her. He was about to slap her when Timmy grabbed his hand to stop him "Don't you dare lay a finger on her" They were now giving each other death glares
Isaac snatched his hand away from him "What are you gonna do about it fagot"
They were inches away from each other then Timmy swung and hit Isaac in the nose. Isaac stumbled back holding his nose while Timmy asked if Jenni was ok. When Isaac recovered from the punch he kicked Timmy in the back and he fell to the ground. Isaac got on top of him and started punching him in the face. My head was still throbbing from him pulling my hair again, but I managed to get up and pull Isaac off of him, but as I did so he ended up elbowing me in the face so hard I fell to the ground holding my cheek then everything went black...
