When everyone that was watching me from the windows was gone, Nat decided I had enough for the day. I untied my jean jacket from my waist and put it back on like a jacket. Nat and I went to the kitchen to get some water and an apple to eat. (I was craving one ever since Nat took one.) we headed to the landing part outside of the big boat.
"You are doing pretty well with all of this information," Nat said.
"It feels to surreal I guess, like I am waiting for somebody to pinch me and then wake up to my normal life," I said. I took a juicy bite into my apple. "Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah sure, I almost shot you so go ahead,"
I stopped walking and so did she. "When Coulson and I talked to you on the phone, we mentioned Barton, and you just sort of, stopped. Why?" I asked.
Nat looked down at the floor. "He is someone who changed my life by his choice," Nat said.
"Oh come on!" I said and I threw my hands in the air. "You like him!" I said.
Nat smiled faintly. I knew it. She wasn't going to admit it but I could tell from that small, little smile. I changed the subject.
"So why do we have a boat, we are literally sitting ducks," I said. We started to walk outside again. I took another bite of my apple.
Nat laughed. "It's not a boat, it's called a helicarrier."
"A what?" I asked, spitting some apple bits out.
"You'll see," Nat said with a smile. Nat opened a glass door to the landing area for helicopters or planes. "So, I heard your into Captain America trading cards like Coulson," Nat said.
I laughed. "You heard right," I said. Just then, a jet landed and I saw my dad and a man with blondish hair wearing clothes that maybe a fashionable grandpa would wear. However, he was a really good looking, young, fashionable grandpa. If that made any sense.
Nat and I walked over to them. "Agent Romanoff, Jane, this is Captain Rogers. When my dad said that he raised his eyebrows up and down to signify it was the beautiful man wearing blue suit in vintage and mint card. I almost jumped up and down uncontrollably. Thank god I didn't otherwise I would have accidentally fangirled in front of serious and formal people. But this was crazy. Ever since my dad took me on this field trip it's been crazy. I've met my hero, I learn my dad isn't as clumsy and I thought, and I have powers?
"Ma'am," The beautiful man said to Nat. I took a loud bite of my apple and he then he looked at me. "Hi," he said and we both turned in to little school kids who had a crush on each other.
I took a piece of my hair and put it behind my ear. "Hi," I said. We both smiled awkwardly. I looked at Nat who saw us and she almost laughed at us but she held it in. My dad looked back and forth at me and the beautiful man with his mouth opened a bit.
"Anyway," Nat began, "They need you on the bridge. Now. And your daughter did some interesting things today." Nat said to my dad. Coulson looked at me and I moved my eyebrows up and down rapidly. My dad smiled a little. Then Nat laughed and the beautiful man looked confused.
"See you there," Coulson said to us. I couldn't call him dad anymore. I loved him but I couldn't call him my dad. I smiled as he walked past me and handed my eaten apple to him. The three of us started to walk toward the railing of the helicarrier.
"There was quite a buzz around here, finding you in the ice. I thought Coulson was going to swoon," she looked at me like she was going to say something to embarrass me but I violently shook my head. God if he knew about the trading cards... "Did he ask you to sign his Captain America trading cards?" Damn.
"Trading cards?" Asked Steve. I decided it would be a lot easier to call him Steve instead of the beautiful man. Although, the title does fit better.
"They're vintage." I blurted out. I was such an idiot.
"He's very proud," Nat added. Suddenly we all noticed a man who looked nervous as hell. He moved as people walked by and he was a bit uneasy.
"Dr. Banner," Steve said and shook the mans hand.
"Oh, yeah. Hi. They told me you were coming," Banner said.
"Word is you can find the cube," Steve said.
"Is that the only word I'm in for?" Banner asked. Suddenly I remembered my dad told me about Banner last night and when he gets angry, he doesn't exactly turn red with rage.
"Only word I care about," Steve replied sentimentally.
Banner nodded. He looked at me and I held my hand out. "Jane Coulson, nice to meet you," I said and we shook hands.
"I didn't know Coulson had a daughter," Banner said.
"There are things I don't even know about my dad," I said with a little bit of bitterness.
"Must be strange for you," Banner said to Steve.
"Well, this is actually kind of familiar," Steve said.
"You may want to step inside," Nat began, "It's going to get a little hard to breath." Suddenly the helicarrier began to shake and we walked over to the railing.
"Is this a submarine?" Steve asked.
"Really they wanted me in a submerged pressurized metal container?" Banner said jokingly. Suddenly huge fans came from the water and started to lift us from the water. I looked at Steve who was in awe and Banner was smiling. "Oh no this is much worse."
We all started to walk to the bridge, going through the corridors and hallways we got to the bridge and now the windows were filled with clouds instead of water.
"We're at level, sir," Maria said to Fury.
"Good. Let's vanish," Fury commanded.
Suddenly there is a slight rumble and I walked over to one of the people at a computer. "What just happened?" I asked a bald guy with round glasses. He looked like he could have and evil side to be honest.
He looked at me. "The reflecting panels have opened and are camouflaging us-" I stopped him.
"So we are practically invisible," I said. The man looked disappointed.
"Yes. You are Jane, right? Good job, maybe you will work a bit for me in the future," the man said with an evil grin. I didn't really like him. I walked away and nodded.
"Gentlemen," Fury said to Steve and Banner. Steve was still in awe until he took out his wallet and handed a ten dollar bill and I laughed a bit.
"Doctor thank you for coming," Fury said to Banner.
"Thank you for asking nicely. So uh... How long am I staying?" Banner asked nervously.
"Once we get our hands on the Tesseract. You're in the clear," Fury said.
"Where are you with that?" Banner asked. Fury looked at Coulson, giving him a look to explain.
"We're sweeping every wirelessly accessible camera on the planet. Cell phone, laptops. If it's connected to a satellite, it's eyes and ears for us," Coulson explained. Government, I thought.
"That's still not going find them in time," Nat said.
"You have to narrow the field. How many spectrometers do you have access to?" Banner asked.
"How many are there?" Fury asked.
"Call every lab you know, tell them to put the spectrometer on the roof and calibrate them for gamma rays. I'll rough out a tracking algorithm based on cluster recognition. At least we could rule out a few places," Banner said. Geez he was smart. "Do you have somewhere for me to work?"
"Agent Romanoff, Jane, would you like to show Dr. Banner to his laboratory, please," Fury said.
I nodded for the both of us. "You're gonna love it here, Doc. We got all the toys," Nat said.

THAT GUY THAT WAS EXPLAINING THE SOLAR PANELS IS THE GUY FROM CATIAN AMERICA:THE WINTER SOLDIER, HE IS THE GUY WHO IS ALL HAIL HYDRA AND GETS THROW OFF A BUILDING BY NATASHA AND SAM CATCHES HIM. REMEMBER THAT GUY? HE MAKES A CAMEO IN THE AVENGERS SO I THOUGHT I'D THROW HIM IN THERE.
