"Did it fit him?" his mother asked as Jeongguk exited the males hospital room.
"Yeah." he smiled.
"I told you the necklace wouldn't be needed," she said with a smile of triumph for she had been right. "Don't doubt yourself. It's not good for your health." she continued, patting her son's shoulder. "Now let's get going. You didn't do your homework like you were supposed to."
"Ri~ght." he said dragging out the "I".
He had begged his mother to let him go earlier this time. To be able to make her say yes he had to promise to do his homework right after even if it was late when they got home.

Jeongguk sat in class barely able to pay attention. He kept on dozing off. He had stayed up late to finish his homework.
Only two more classes. He told himself. Just two more.
It felt as if time had slowed down. The class seemed as if it had become hours longer. Luckily it was Friday meaning once he got home he could sleep and not have to worry about homework.
"Jeongguk." The teacher called causing Jeongguk to sit up straight in surprise. "Go to the office. You're going home."
Home?
"You're presenting your project Monday." The older male told him.
"Can I leave it here?"
"Doesn't matter. Just go."
Grabbing his backpack, Jeongguk left the class and began to head towards the office.
Finally processing what the teacher had told him, he became confused. Why was he going home? He doesn't remember his mom telling him that she was taking him out early today. Did she not work today? No, she had to have gone to work. She didn't tell him that she wasn't working either.
He entered the office and there stood his mom. She did go to work for she was wearing her scrubs.
"There you are." she had a big smile on her face.
"Did you get out early?" he cocked his head a small bit as he furrowed his brows in confusion.
"No, I'm on break. Now get in the car." she rushed him out of the office to the front of the school.
"I'm confused. You didn't tell me you were getting me out early."
"I didn't plan on it but I couldn't wait until you got out." she began to explain. "So I had to wait until my break to get you."
"So, where are we going?"
"The hospital," she said simply.
"Wait, so you want me to wait until you get out?"
"No, silly. Just wait until we get there."

The car came to a stop waking Jeongguk up from his tiny nap.
"Come on." his mother said, voice coming off a bit excitedly. "Let's go."
"What are we doing?"
"You'll see," she told him. "Now walk faster."
"Mom, I'm right behind you. Calm down." a small laugh emitted from the boy. Seeing his mom excited always made him laugh. It was as if she turned back into a little kid.
"If you were me you'd be excited too."
"For medicine? Never." he joked.
"Don't make me smack you."
The boy laughed.
His mother's plan to distract him from where they were going was a success for he didn't realize what hallway they were walking down.
She opened a door and entered it, her son following behind.
Jeongguk froze in his spot. A smile quickly made it's way onto his lips as he rushed over to the boy who was currently sitting up. Wrapping his arms around the other, he pulled him into a tight hug.

"Were you already out of school when she got you?"
"No, I had two classes left when she got me. She said that she couldn't wait and I'm glad cause I get to see you sooner."
A laugh emitted from the other. "She seemed super happy when she came in here when she first got here," he told him. "It made me happy. I never had anyone who was happy to see me."
"Well now you do." he smiled. "And we're not going anywhere. I promise."
"Pinky promise?" he held up his pinky.
"Pinky promise." he held his own pinky out and interlocked his with Taehyung's.

Ms. Jeon had got off of work a few hours ago and now she made her way towards Taehyung's hospital room. Entering the room, a sweet smile formed on her lips.
Jeongguk had fallen asleep with his arms crossed on the bed and his head resting on them. Taehyung's attention was directed onto the TV, that hung on the wall straight across from his bed, while his hand messed with the other's hair.
The sight displayed before her was sweet. It was nice to see that her son had found someone he fancies so much.
The sound of her footsteps caught Taehyung's attention. "Hi." he smiled.
"Hello, Taehyung." she looked down at Jeongguk. "He must've been really tired."
He gave a small giggle. "He said that he had to stay up really late to finish his homework."
"He begged to come to see you right after school yesterday and because of that he had to do his homework after." she laughed. "I've never seen him so fond of anyone before you. I'm really glad he met you."
"I'm glad to have met him too."
"You know Taehyung." she started. "I think he has a thing for you. I might just be his mom but being a mom I can tell."
"A thing?" he cocked his head a small bit.
"You'll find out soon." she smiled and turned her attention to the sleeping male. "Jeongguk." she lightly shook the male.
Jeongguk rubbed his eyes as he sat up.
"We have to go home now," she told him. "Visiting hours are going to be over soon."
"Okay." he nodded and stood up. "I'll visit you soon, okay?" he smiled.
Taehyung nodded and smiled back.
"Let's go Jeongguk. Bye Taehyung, I'll see you tomorrow."
"Bye Ms. Jeon, Bye Jeongguk." he waved as the two exited out of the room.
