Ace and I ride back to my house, which is next to his.
" Bye" He says awkwardly. I get off.
" Uh, Yeah Bye" I say. He gets off with me. We stand there.
Then he wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me into a long hard kiss.
Then someone throws their body at me. I fall, them still holding on from behind.
" What the?" You shout.
A bottle smashes in front of you.
" Mother!" I scream.
You roll out from underneath her and pull her off the ground.
" Why you raping my child?!" She screams at Ace.
" I'm not" He says.
" She's married!" Mother shouts. Ace looks at me, questioning. I shake my head. Mother always comes up with strange things when drunk.
Ace and I walk her back inside, sitting her on the couch. She passes out as soon as she sits.
" Night Mother" I say softly, kissing her forehead.
I feel a hand on my shoulder.
Standing upright, I place my hand on his too. We stand there, staring at Mother until Ace speaks.
" Goodnight" He says.
" Night".
He kisses my cheek and walks out. I'm alone again.
