~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You heard your alarm go off, making you groan. You pressed the button to make it stop on your phone, missing it a few times before making it stop. You grabbed your phone, and checked some stuff before getting out of bed.
A couple of missed calls, text from your boss saying there is going to be a meeting at 8, other mass texts that had no purpose. You sighed as you checked the time. 5:30.
You threw your phone on your nightstand and went into the bathroom to get ready. You quickly showered, and dressed into a white blouse and a black tight skirt with fishnet stockings. You quickly put on a light layer of makeup and did your hair, before going to wake up your kids.
6:45
You went into Yoongi's and Jin's shared room. You went over to Jin's bed with pink blankets and mario plushies all over his bed.
"Jin, honey," you cooed. "It's time to wake up. I need you to help me with your brothers."
He slowly gets out of bed, wiping his eyes with his small hands. "Okay, but why so early?"
"Sorry, but I had a important meeting early today. Please go wake your brothers while I go make some breakfast."
He nod his head as he gets out bed, and you head downstairs to make a quick breakfast and pack their lunches.
****
6:50
"Yoongi, wake up," Jin said, gently shaking him.
"Go away," Yoongi lazily shoving him away.
Jin sighs as he heads out to wake up everyone else.
He goes into Namjoon's and Hobi's room. Namjoon's bed on the left, Hobi's on the right. Jin heads to wake up Joon next, because he the second easiest to wake up.
"Joonie~" Jin cooed. "Wake up~"
Joon stirs before lifting his head up, his Ryan plushies falling to the ground.
"M-m-morning hyung," Joon says, getting up and heading to the bathroom.
"Hobi," Jin says, going over to his bed and waking him up.
"Morning!" Hobi yells, after being woken up.
"Quiet down," Jin says, slightly scolding him. "Go wake up Yoongi for me."
"Okay!" Hobi runs to his hyung's room to wake him up.
Jin goes into the last bedroom, already seeing Jimin, Tae and Jungkook already awake and helping each other get dressed.
"Oh," Jin says. "Well, good morning."
"Morning Hyung," Jimin says.
"We have to hurry up. Mommy wants us downstairs in a few minutes."
They all nod their heads as they finish getting ready and head to the bathroom.
Jin heads his shared bedroom to get dressed, Yoongi surprisingly awake.
"You're finally awake," Jin says.
"Yeah, I wonder why," Yoongi mumbles, as he heads to the bathroom.
7:25
You finished packing their lunches in each lunchbox and made breakfast, placing down plates of pancakes and glasses of milk.
"MOMMY!" Hobi yells, as he crashed himself into you giving you a huge hug.
"Okay, okay," you say, stifling a laugh. "Sit and wait for your brothers."
"Okay mommy," Hobi says, sitting down at his own uniquely made pancakes for him.
You hear a bunch of tiny feet run down the stairs, and into the kitchen, as they all quickly sit down at the table. Jimin was the last one to sit down, since he takes the longest to get ready.
"Thank you," Tae says, as he starts eating.
Everyone else muttered in agreement and starts eating.
You head off to grab their backpacks and place their lunches in them, as you grabbed your shoes and slipped them on. You grabbed your own bag, as you checked your phone.
7:35
"Shit," you mumbled. "Kids, we have to go!"
You stuffed your phone in your bag, as everyone quickly places their plates in the sink and grab their backpacks from you. You close the door behind you and lock the door. You get in the driver's seat and strap yourself in.
"Is everyone strapped in?" You ask.
You look in the mirror to see everyone. Jin in the passenger's seat, next row is Jungkook, Jimin, and Tae, and in the back is Hoseok and Joon.
"We're ready," Jin says, as you start the car and drive.
Few minutes into the drive you hear,
"Mommy! Yoongi not in the car!" Hobi yelled from the back, and you step on the brakes. You sigh as you place your head on the stirring wheel.
"Damn it."
7:50
You went to the drop off zone, as they all unstrapped themselves and grabbed their backpacks. You gave them each a hug and a kiss on their foreheads and set them on their way.
"B-b-bye m-mommy," Joon says, as he walks away with Hobi.
"Bye, love you!" You says, as you get back into the car, and drive off.
8:10
"I'm late again," you say to yourself. "Let's hope I don't get fired."
***
Jin walked to his classroom and went to his seat in the back. He looked around the room, other groups of kids were happily talking and laughing with each other. He did feel lonely at times, but he really make an effort to make friends.
He knew why most kids didn't want to be friends with him.
It was because he liked the color pink.
His backpack is pink, and he even wore pink clothes, and that seems weird to most boys in the class, even the girls. It wasn't his fault he liked the color, well, maybe it was, but his mom always told him that the color was for everyone and it's not his fault for liking that color.
Jin pushed the thought away, as the bell rang. All the kids went back to their assigned seats, as the teacher walked into the class.
"Good morning, class," the teacher stated.
"Good morning!" The class said back in a bored tone.
As the teacher talked on about whatever, Jin looked out the window. He didn't really want to pay attention. He was only thinking about going home with his brothers and his mom. Watching TV and playing games, and helping his mom cook dinner.
"Mr. (L/N), are you paying attention?" The teacher asked, the class going silent.
(Just use your last name, or not if you want.)
Jin didn't respond, still looking out the window, watching the clouds go by.
"Mr. (L/N)!"
Jin turned to look, breaking his thoughts and wondering eyes.
"Are you paying attention? Or do I have to put you out of the class?"
Jin didn't respond.
The entire class laughed, as Jin turned to look back out the window.
"Please, just pack your things, and get out. I'll call you back in when I'm done."
Jin just shrugged, as he grabbed his backpack and walked to the front door. The laughter of the kids getting louder, as well as more rude comments, but Jin ignored them. He sat outside on the bench, as he kicked his feet, thinking more about his family.
He smiled to himself, watching the clock outside tick away, watching every second go by until the bell rang.
***
"So, why are you here again?"
"I didn't do anything."
The principal sighed as he leaned back in his chair, fixing his glasses.
"You've been in here multiple times, can't you just tell me what you did wrong, so I can send you back to class?" The principal begs.
"I told you, I didn't do anything," Yoongi said. "The kids in that class, including the teacher, hate me and lied on me. As always."
There was a awkward silence that filled the air. Yoongi was always getting in trouble, and being sent to the office for reasons that could be his fault but maybe not.
Yoongi sighed.
"Some kids said that I stole for them, but I didn't take anything! They let other kids borrow their things, but when I ask to borrow a pencil, all of a sudden, I'm a thief."
"Did you steal-"
"I told you already, I didn't."
The principal sighs, rubbing his eyes in slight frustration.
"What am I going to do with you? I know you're a nice kid, but this needs to stop. I'm tired of having to call your mom, or give you lunch detention, and giving you warnings. For one day can you not cause trouble?"
"Most of the time it's not even me. It's kids lying on me and getting me in trouble. They don't like me, and I don't even know them. So, why am I the getting blamed for things they've done wrong?"
There was a silence again, lingering in the air.
"I'll let you off with a warning again. I'm not in the mood to be giving you a punishment."
"Good, because I wasn't in the mood to be receiving one."
Yoongi grabs his bag, pushing the metal back hard on the tile floor hearing it make a nasty shrieking sound. He pulls the door open and slams it shut, not caring if he was being rude or not.
The moment Yoongi got on the other side of the door, he let out a shaky breath. His therapist won't be able to see him this week, so he has to keep his anxiety under control. He felt his hands shake, as he walked back to his classroom. He hates getting in trouble, it only boosts his anxiety and it's not good. Yoongi took a deep breath, and let his heart rate go down.
Just a couple more hours...
***
"Joon.."
"Joon.."
"Namjoon.."
"W-w-what is i-it, h-h-hyung?"
"I need help with this."
Since Namjoon and Hoseok were in the same class together, it made them feel closer to each other. Hoseok was currently having problems with math, and Namjoon being the smart kid he is, he easily did the problem.
"How did you do it so quickly?" Hobi asks, looking in amazement.
"I-its really s-s-simple," Joon says, adjusting his seat. "All y-you do is a-a-add the n-number by t-that n-number and-"
"Boys, what are doing?"
They both go silent, as the teacher and the whole class lays eyes on them.
"This is a quiet, individual assignment," she says. "You must do your own work. If you have any questions, ask me, okay?"
"Y-yes ma'am," Joon says, light blush coating his cheeks as Hobi nods.
Some stifled laughs could be heard, as Joon hung his head lower to his paper.
He hates talking out loud in front of a class, kids always made jokes or comments on his stutter. He only felt safe in his speech class. The one place he could talk loud and feel confident, with anyone laughing at him. He envied his brothers and other kids that could speak in fluent sentences without having to start over, or stuttering like crazy.
The lunch bell rang, as the kids ran off to the cafeteria. Joon grabbed his lunchbox, and waited for Hobi as he grabbed his. They walked to the cafeteria, sitting down at their usual table. Joon started eating, but Hoseok just stared at his food.
"W-why aren't y-you e-eating, hyung?" He asked.
"I'm not very hungry," he says.
"B-but you h-h-have to-to eat," he said, grabbing his spoon and scooping a spoonful of Hobi's food. "P-please? M-mommy s-says you n-need to e-eat."
Hoseok grabbed the spoon and took a hesitate bite of his food, his mom made for him. He forced himself to swallow as he gave a fake huge smile. Namjoon smiled back, his dimples digging into his cheeks, before he started eating himself. He truth is, he was extremely hungry. Hoseok envied his brothers and other kids around him. He could only eat certain things combinations of food. But, he rarely ever got to eat what he wants to eat, due to his stomach problems.
He loved his mom's cooking as well as how careful she was feeding him, but he wanted to tell her he didn't want to eat the food he was supposed to have. He wanted other things. But, he couldn't. The bell rang, as kids filed out the cafeteria.
"C-come on, h-hyung," Hoseok just nods, as the finished packing up their lunches and headed back to class.
***
Jimin and Tae were currently outside playing. Jimin was playing in the sandbox, while Tae was playing on the swings with some other kids. Tae has a bunch of friends, while Jimin was often alone. Taehyung did play with him and help him, but he wasn't constantly with him. Jimin was far too shy to talk to other kids, other than Tae.
Jimin was building a sandcastle, when some kid kicked his sandcastle. Jimin felt his eyes begin to water, as he started rebuilding his once perfect castle.
"L-leave me alone," Jimin says, it coming out more of a whine.
"No," the kids kickes it down some more.
Jimin couldn't stop the tears, as they escaped his eyes as he started crying.
Taehyung heard his hyung crying, as he ran over to the sandbox, leaving the other kids behind.
"Leave him alone!" Tae yells, as he shoved the kid.
The little boy pouts as he runs off.
"Y-you didn't have t-to do that," Jimin says, as Tae sits next to him in the sand.
"But, I have to," Taehyung says. "I have to keep my chimchim safe."
Jimin lifts his glasses up as he wipes all the tears away.
Jimin wished he was strong enough to stand up for himself, not having to wait for someone to save him. Tae being number one on his list, his mommy being the second. He wished he didn't cry over the smallest things. He felt like he was too old to cry over such things.
"Done!" Tae exclaims, as he pats it down with his small hands.
The castle was pretty tall, with designs that Tae made with his tiny fingers and used grass and other things to make it pretty.
"You like it, Jiminie?" Jimin nods his head, as Tae gives him his box smile.
***
"Already class," the teacher beamed. "Time for reading and writing hour!"
Jungkook felt his stomach drop, as his teacher said the usual routine. He hated reading and writing hour. Why couldn't he just go back to coloring and drawing?
"Come on, Jungkook," his teacher kneeled down to his level. "You have to go with Mrs. Park, remember?"
Jungkook pouts, as he nods his head. He walked to the Mrs. Park, as she took his hand and walked him to her small classroom.
The one thing Jungkook liked about going her classroom was because it was the two of them. She won't laugh at him for misspelling something or rewording something. At this time, she didn't have any other students to teach, so it's always him and her.
"How are you?" She asked him.
"Fine," Jungkook said, as he sat down at his usual seat as she sat across from him.
"You ready to pick up from where we left off?"
Jungkook nods his head. Mrs. Park grabs a book from her bag, and opens the marked page that was marked with a bookmark.
"Alright, please read this sentence."
Jungkook looked down at the book, as he started to speak out loud.
"T-then she....bet the god," Jungkook said.
"You're close," Mrs. Park said. "The sentence is, then she pet the dog. Read the next one."
"Um... the d-dog lagged this trail and marked."
"The sentence is, then the dog wagged his tail and barked."
"Mrs. Park, it's too hard."
"You say that everytime we do this. I know reading all this and trying to remember is tiring, but you have to learn so when you get older you can read it clearly, okay?"
Jungkook pouts again, but nods his head. All he wishes is to read and write like his hyungs and the other kids in school. He hates the fact that his mind mixes up the word and how he can't remember them the next second. He wishes he could be perfect, even though his mommy and his hyungs say he is, he doesn't feel like it.
"Jungkook? Can you please read this last sentence on this page?" Mrs. Park says, pointing to it. "We have to move on to writing next."
He fidgets in his seat, and sighs. Would this ever end?
***
The final bell rang, as Jungkook quickly grabbed his iron man backpack, and his drawing and walked out the class. The way the school worked was that, it was in different sections. He was the farthest for his hyungs, but luckily his mommy parked close to his section.
"Mommy!" Jungkook yelled happily, as you picked him up into your open arms.
"Hi Kookie!" You say, "how was your day?"
"Good! Except the fact, I had to do my stupid reading and writing hour today."
"That is not stupid, young man. You need the class so you can read and write properly."
A few minutes later, everyone came and ran over to their mother and all hugged you.
"Alright, let's get in the car. I have work to do."
They all got in the car, all strapped in, and started talking over each other.
"One at a time," you say over the noise. "Take your turns telling me about your day. Jin, would you like to go first?"
Jin shook his head.
"Nothing much happened today," he said. "Yoongi can go next."
"Yoongi, how was your day?" You asked. "I didn't get any phone calls or emails from the school so I'm assuming you had a good day."
He nods his head, as his lips made a straight line.
"I was good," Yoongi said quickly, looking out the window.
"Hobi? Joon? How as your day?" You asked, looking in the mirror.
"G-good," Joon said. "B-but something h-happened during class."
"Oh yeah! It was so funny!" Hobi said, but they both started laughing so the story never came out.
"Well, once you stop laughing, you can tell me," you said, laughing a little yourself.
"Jimin? Tae? How was your day?"
"Good," Tae said. "But, some kid was picking on Jimin so I protected him and helped rebuild his sandcastle."
"That was nice of you, Tae," you said. "Always helping your brother."
Jimin's cheeks flushed pink as he turned his face. Why did Tae have to tell you that happened?
"How was your day, mommy?" Jin asked.
You pulled into the driveway, and made a hesitant stop.
"Um, it was fine," you said. "I rather not talk about it right now. Let's just go inside and get you started on homework and dinner, so I can do some work."
They all got out the car and filed into the kitchen, and all started on their homework or assignments.
"Mommy?" Jungkook said, pulling on your black skirt. "Can I show you my drawing?"
"Not right now, okay, sweetie?" You said, heading into the living room. "I have work to do. Go into the kitchen with your brothers and work on your homework."
"Okay," he says quietly, as he walks to the table and sits down.
The day of work flashes in your mind, as you ran your hands through your hair.
Work was a bitch.
