It was 11:45 pm and Ayesha was lost in her thoughts. She was looking at the packet but she didn't dare to open it.
She was trying hard to distract her mind but it gave her no relief. There was a war going between her heart and her brain. Her heart said you lost your daughter, leave all this and try to get back to your life, its all over, while her brain insisted her to fight back, to hunt for the clues which was rightly placed on her working desk.
Ayesha just stood up from her chair, took a paper cutter knife and that packet and went towards the balcony. Her hands were shivering while she opened the sealed packet.
The clock striked 12 and with that a message popped on her phone. Ayesha left the packet and picked her phone to check the message at such an hour. It was an unknown number. She opened it and it read,
Did you enjoy opening the packet?
This was not enough as soon the message was read another message from another number was there to make Ayesha completely terrfiied. The other message was,
Happy 18th birthday dear Sara!!
How can someone know about Sarah's real birthday? Ayesha was amused as only she knew the real birth date.
After few minutes Ayesha came back to herc senses and noticed the packet which was lying on the floor half opened. She picked it up and inside it was a small piece of paper, and an old and rusty key.
Now the question is which door will be opened on her eighteenth birthday...?
