Chapter 2
i wake up around 5 a.m. i go get dressed in a white shirt and black skinny jeans, throwing on my black and purple converse. i throw on my perfume and am greeted as i finish my hair with julie barging into my room. i smile at her and shes creepily chipper for 5 am. i stare at her as she goes on about my day. when she says the boys i stop ignoring her.. apparently im spending most of the day with the boys after an interview and a meet and greet. i nod as i look around suddenly scared and nervous. lets go she says smiling.. i get up and grab my bag of stuff and throw it on the bus. i sit down and see a text from catie saying "layla you okay?" i text back "yea." and sit in the bed in the back. i crawl into bed and close my eyes. i am awoken hours later by noises and julie talking to someone that i believe is security. i hear a familiar voice ask "wheres layla?" my heart stops and then goes to beating really fast... i feel myself stay frozen where i am as i hear julie answer in the back room i hear nialls steps come toward me... i suddenly become unfrozen and throw myself onto the bed, i try to close my eyes tightly and look natural. i hear a knock followed by snickers and playful comments from the boys. julie calls to him "just go in. i think shes asleep but she needs to wake up anyway.. its almost time for the interview and then the meet and greet. i hear the door slowly creep open and i hear him step in and close the door. i mentally slap julie in the face as i try to remain still. i feel him sit on my bed and caress my face, i try my best to not break my position. he brushes hair out of my face and i hear him gently say "stop faking i know you're awake." i open my eyes as i know I'm a terrible fake sleeper and i stare at his beautiful eyes. i see hurt in them as i soften my face, his hurt remains. "why'd you leave?" i shrug "had to get dressed.." he laughs "you didn't leave your room." i open my mouth and then close it. i crack a smile and say "it didn't go as planned." he nods. "you didn't reply to my texts either."i nod "I didn't reply anyone's text messages, it wasn't just you. " he nods "i guess that makes me feel better." he says glumly, i see his shoulders are sagging and then i see him attempt to get up, i immediately grab his hand and he stops and turns to me. his face suddenly filled with hope... my heart beats out of my chest it feels like as i say "stay." he nods and takes off his shoes and hoodie and climbs into bed and gathers me in his arms. i smile and for what seems like forever i actually mean it.
