As the dance room begin to fill with energetic students, Hoseok decided it was time to begin to begin class. He swiftly made his way to the front of the room and stared down at his perfectly aligned rookies with a strict look.
"alright everyone, we will be continuing with the tango lesson from last time. I expect all of you to not mess up as one lesson should have been enough for you to remember all the steps, unless your name is kim namjoon and you suck at everything."
Namjoons astonished gasp could be heard from the very back row, "fuck you bitch!"
Hoseok pretended to not to hear the cuss sent towards him and instead continued his instructions, "anywho, everyone please get with your partners from last time so we can start with the next steps."
The room became disorderly as all the students rushed to find their partners, knowing that they couldn't waste time because Hoseok had the habit of starting when no one was ready. But, ever since Namjoon had joined the class, all the students couldn't help but like it considering Hoseok was only giving Namjoon a hard time which took away the harsh comments Hoseok would put on them.
As the alumnis found their partners easily, Taehyung, Jeongguk, Jimin and Namjoon were left to have yet to pick their partners.
"so who goes with who?" Namjoon asked as he looked between the three guys.
Taehyung looked over at Jimin who was practically sending him puppy eyes and a begging pout as he mentally pleaded Taehyung for something. Taehyung caught onto his signal and nodded. He went over to Jeongguk and wrapped his arm over the others shoulders, "i'll take jeongguk because we dance great together."
Jimin didn't hesitate to quickly wrap his short yet muscular arm over Namjoons waist, surprising the male a bit, "that means me and joonie can be partners, you dont mind right joon?".
Namjoon shook his head. He was actually kind of happy he got Jimin because he would be a great person to help make Hoseok jealous. Namjoon wouldn't have minded getting Taehyung but Hoseok already knew they were more like brothers than friends and it would just foil the plan. As for Jeongguk, he was cute and all but he seemed relatively shy and Namjoon didn't want to make him uncomfortable. Which meant Jimin was perfect.
"no ill be glad to dance with you jimin, in fact it can make up for the dance i wasn't able to give you at the bar last time." Namjoon said sheepishly. Jimin sent him a wink, "i'll make sure you wont regret it."
"alright everyone, time to start!" Hoseok commanded as he watched Jimin and Namjoon walk over to an open spot. "someone start up the music!"
The faint sound of a romantic latin song came on and filled the class with anticipating states. The way the melody filled the ears of the students overwhelmed them with the need to move their feet because it's all they know, it's all they were taught from the moment they were born to moment they acknowledged their talent.
"I need a volunteer to help me with the first few steps." Hoseok asked as he looked around the room.
And without a doubt, the redhead that had tormented Namjoon for awhile now had her hand raised the moment Hoseok finished his order. Of course she would want to dance with him, it was obvious she had the hots for Hoseok, but then again, who didn't. Accept for Namjoon.
Namjoon could feel himself fill with anger but he soon relaxed when he remembered Hoseok was gay and wouldn't even think of hooking up with her. That stupid bitch.
On the other hand, Namjoon could feel Hoseoks heated gaze on his, as if he was trying to tell him something. And even though Namjoon wouldn't mind dancing with Hoseok again, Namjoon was still annoyed at what Hoseok had done to him a few minutes ago and he wasn't going to let it go so easily. Therefore, Namjoon looked deep into Hoseoks eyes and as he kept his gaze, he slowly reached his hand out to grab onto Jimin's petite ones forcefully.
Hoseok of course saw the action, but it wasn't like he could do much other than try to show Namjoon that he didn't care, even if he did, just a little bit.
"alright veronica, you can be my helper." Hoseok turned away from Namjoon and waited for the excited redhead to make her way over. Namjoon rolled his eyes and watched as she pulled up her booty shorts that she seems to wear everyday, much to his disgust.
"as for the first step, you have to make sure you grab onto your partner's waist securely because your going to have spin them and if your hand gets lose, you might accidentally drop them."
Jimin put his hand on Namjoons waist briskly and pushed their bodies tremendously close, to the point that Namjoon could feel Jimin's hard chest, not that he minded. Namjoons only choice was to put his left over hand on Jimin's shoulder and have to act like the girl once again.
Hoseok watched the way Jimin and Namjoon were unnecessarily close and scoffed before turning back to the hoe- he means student in front of him. "okay for the first move, the guy steps back one step and the girl follows with her right foot landing between the males."
Jimin followed the instructions and took a step back and patiently waited for Namjoon to follow with a gentle smile spread on his face. Namjoon took large step forward to land between Jimin's feet but somehow he ended up missing and instead stepped on Jimin's foot, causing both men to stumble and crash into each other.
"oh my god i'm so sorry." Namjoon apologised weakly as he grimaced at his stupid action. Jimin waved him off and instead pulled Namjoon close so their breathing could unite and their gazes could lock, "its okay, just know that if you fall, i'll be there to catch you."
Namjoon unknowingly blushed, "um okay."
Hoseok of course noticed the incident that just happened but he refused to acknowledge it because it would only lead onto another fight. Even if it was killing him on the inside, it was best to ignore it because it wasn't like he liked Namjoon or anything, he just wanted to call him out for being a stupid dancer.
"next, both the guy and the girl are going to seperate from the formation and stand next to each other but your right hands must be still connected. then, your going to move your hips like this." Hoseok let go of Veronica for a second to show the class and boy were Namjoons eyes mesmerized by the action, including everyone else obviously, but for different purposes.
Hoseok moved his hips from left to right in a wave motion, oh so smoothly and beautifully too. His feet moved at the tempo of his curves and his chest did ravishing body waves as his hips moved so effortlessly yet so stunningly. The background music only made him more prepossing to the point that he actually looked like an actual god like dancer.
"just like that okay guys."
All the students looked at each other, knowing that the move Hoseok just showed them was extremely difficult. But they know that Hoseok probably won't show it again so they have to try their best to remember it and copy it exactly, or else he would yell at them for not doing it right.
Everyone gave it their best shots and most did succeed, but not to the point that they were as mesmerising as Hoseok. But really who could.
Hoseok laughed at their poor attempts because even he knows no one could beat his talent, he was a dance god and no one could possibly live up to his standards. As Hoseok opened his lips to speak, they were clamped back shut when he heard many gasps.
And to his surprise, they were from the students who were staring at Jimin with star struck eyes as he copied Hoseoks moves so effortlessly. His bouncy hair bounced as his thick hips did circles and moved from side to side. Even Namjoon was astonished at his partners dancing because he wasn't aware at how good he was.
"damn jimin, you dance like an angel." Namjoon said clapping as Jimin finished. Jimin ruffled his his hair and chuckled softly before looking at him, "thanks but you look more like an angel to me."
Hoseok looked at them with rage. He knew Jimin was a very good dancer and he wasn't denying it, but he hated the fact that Namjoon had just complimented him when Hoseok was first one to do it.
"can all of you shitheads stop awwing like you just saw justin bieber at mcdonalds." Hoseok scoffed angrily.
Jeongguk's ears tensed at the the mention of Justin Bieber, and Taehyung noticed this too. Without thought, he quickly pushed Jeongguk's head into his chest and caressed his hair cautiously, "its okay kook, one day."
Jeongguk returned the phrase, "one day."
Ignoring the two random guys hugging in the back, Namjoon felt offended by Hoseoks lack of consideration for his talented student. "why so mean hoseok, you jealous that your student is better at you and getting more admiration? huh, is that it?"
"jimin may be good but he will never be up to my level so i'm not jealous of anything. and i don't need recondition from you when there's dozens of fans to get that from all around the world." Hoseok remarked arrogantly.
"Its funny that i couldn't care less about what you said so i decided to ignore everything that came out of your mouth." Namjoon smirked as he watched Hoseoks arrogance begin to fade. Jimin watched the two duel and was hesitating whether to intervene but he was generally to scared to.
"you know namjoon, if i wanted a bitch barking back at me then i would have brought my neighbors dog."
Gasps filled the room as the students watched with anticipation at the fight, making sure they congratulated the guy who had the best remark.
Namjoon scoffed, "am i supposed to be offended? because the only thing offending me is your face."
More 'oohs' filled the room as it began to get heated with comebacks. But Hoseok knew better than to continue the fight because he knows he's wasting precious time out of his teaching to fight with the abnormal artichoke.
"your lucky i dont have the time to fight with you kim, but just you wait till we get home." Hoseok turned his back from Namjoon who was smiling uncontrollably since he believed he just won the battle, even if Hoseok technically forfeited.
Hoseok grabbed onto Veronica hasty and aggressively, "everyone follow after me, we will practice the moves from the beginning to now four times."
Namjoon and Jimin grabbed onto each other and began to follow along, Namjoon with a bright smile on his face since he was still proud of his victory but he noticed Jimin was looking a bit down. "hey whats wrong jiminie?"
Jimin looked deep into his eyes, "what did hoseok mean when he said 'wait till we get home', do you guys live together?"
Namjoon froze, unsure as to how to answer. "um it's kind of a long story, i promise to tell you later."
"you guys aren't a couple or anything right?"
"no no, of course not. I would never date a dumbass like him." Namjoon swore as he shook his head repeatedly. Jimin nodded and continued following Hoseoks steps instead of asking anymore questions.
But in the back of his mind, he couldn't help but wonder if Namjoon was telling the truth that they weren't a couple. And the comment that Hoseok said about going home together sounded truthful and Jimin doubts it was just a simple slip up. It didn't make much sense but he hopes Namjoon clears it up for him, and he strongly prays that it's not true.
Hoseok was competition in Jimin's eyes the moment he saw both Hoseok and Namjoon leave together from the bar, and he has to make sure there is no competition in his goal to reach his mans heart. And he won't hesitate to get rid of him if he needs too because Jimin always gets what he wants, always.
