"Ten minutes have passed and still no sign of him" I nervously said as I kept looking at the time. Impatiently waiting for Jake to arrive and silently hoping he wouldn't ditch me. After the way he left school and didn't want to hear me out. I had texted him to meet me at the park where we shared an intimate moment together. Something deep down inside me wished he did appear but also I was afraid of his reaction. What if he disrespects me again? What if he shows up only to tell me he doesn't want anything to do with me anymore? What if fucking me is all he was looking for? and now that I gave it to him I am no longer interesting for him. I had so many doubts lingering in my mind I felt like I was going crazy. I didn't want him to leave me but I also couldn't make him stay if he had doubts about me. To my disgrace what happened between James and I was repeating itself. It felt like needles slowly puncturing my heart.

I told myself I wouldn't fall for her trap. But no matter what I say I just can't stop thinking about her. I gotta hear her out..I'll be that stupid fool to forgive her mistake. I gave her a suspicious stare, there was no way she came out for a jog. It was almost seven in the evening and the sun was practically setting in already. Lina is the type that gets scared by her own shadow so for her to be at the park alone in the dark? She had to be up to something.
Jake- I'm looking for Jazmin..

Jake- Have you seen her by any chance?

"Forget I asked" I had to expect that answer from her can't say I didn't see it coming. I turned away to continue looking for Jazmin when I heard Lina loudly shout in pain.

As I walked towards the parking lot disappointed and hurt that Jake never showed up. I heard distant talking and a cry of a girl. I stopped and looked to my left where I saw Lina and Becca talking. I quickly hid behind a tree and overheard their conversation. 'What are they up too?' I thought to myself hoping they hadn't seen me. I knew those two were tight. I just needed proof that they were somehow behind everything that happened to me.
Becca- *Crying...I just don't know what to do anymore Lina!
Lina- Well you gotta force him if you have too! He has to be responsible!

I couldn't stop thinking about everything that both Lina and Becca said. Could I really be naive and believe those snakes? Then again Lina's shocking expression to hear Becca confess what she saw only made me wonder if it was actually true. I had to see Jake to confront him though I had to admit I was afraid to do so. What if what Becca said is true? What then? I didn't want to think about it but it was something that was going to happen and sooner than I thought as I heard a car park outside our driveway.
As I looked outside my bedroom window I saw Jake walking towards the front of my house. He held his head down and stood there without knocking. He seemed thoughtful as if debating on whether he should knock or not. I wanted to run over to him and slap him for what he did! He had guilt written all over his face. The anger inside me started to boil up but it all suddenly calmed down when his eyes met mine. 'No focus!..You're mad and unlike him you have all the right to be!' I thought to myself while I quickly changed face expressions. I looked at him in disgust and decided to meet him outside. I had to settle this even if I dreaded the outcome.
Jake- Jazmin can we please talk?
Jazmin- Okay where do you wanna start first?

Jazmin- Do you wanna talk about what happened at the locker room? OR do you wanna start from when you ditched me at the park only to have a full on kissing session with Lina..What should we talk about first babe?

I couldn't hold back the tears any longer the pain inside me was unbearable. As I turned away from him to enter my house, I suddenly felt his warm arms hug my waist tightly. He then turned me around to face him. His hands caressed my face while my eyes shed silent tears. I wanted to pull away from him but I couldn't do it. I couldn't resist to his sweet warm embrace. His arms felt like home to me. I felt broken inside but I didn't want to leave him.
I tried looking away from him but he got closer to me. Our lips were inches away from touching. He then whispered, "I was wrong to think bad about the only girl that I have ever loved..You mean the world to me...I'm an idiot to think you would throw away our love just like that..I might not even deserve such an amazing girl like you..Please forgive me Jazmin...I don't want to lose you again..I can't". Just as he finished saying those words his lips claimed mine. We kissed so passionately that I almost forgot his lips had also touched Lina's so I quickly pulled away. "I can't do this Jake..You betrayed me..Your lips claimed Lina's while you were still with me..You might not love me as much as you say you do and that scares me but also makes me realize that this could be a mistake".
