TW: MINOR MENTIONS OF ABUSE
"Yoongi," Sora, his girlfriend, snapped at him. But he wasn't paying attention. He was too busy paying attention to the boy sitting down in the rain.
What was he doing? He wondered.
"Ah, Sora, when did you get here?" He asked as he flicked his lighter. Sora stared at it, then at Yoongi.
"I'm breaking up with you." She crossed her arms, "this fire obsession is too much, Yoongi." She shook her head. Yoongi tilted his head and frowned.
It's not my fault that I find fires therapeutic. Yoongi shrugged and nodded, acting as if he didn't care. He did care, just not as much as ge should have.
"Are you kidding me?" She scoffed, Yoongi flinching and placing his hands in front of his face. Sora smacked his arms harshly, "you're gonna let me go that easily? You're not even gonna try?!" She spoke louder. Yoongi shied away from her.
"I'm sorry, I thought that was what you wanted!" He defended. He peaked at her through the gaps of his fingers. She pursed her lips and tap her fingers against her thigh. She nodded her head.
"It is what I want Yoongi, I'm leaving." She then walked out the coffee shop Yoongi was at. Yoongi looked around, noticing all the pitiful stares. He instantly lowered his his head, drumming his fingers against his thigh to shake the feeling.
Not here. It's not safe, it can get out of hand. He thought to himself. Man, did he want to light something on fire.
Yoongi felt a damp hand on his shoulder, he looked at it then slowly rose his head to see the boy from outside. He noticed his black hair was still wet from the rain, he was out of breath and he had a slight smile.
"Would you like some tea? My treat." Yoongi met his gaze and nodded shyly. Hoseok smiled widely, revealing his shiny teeth, "good." He walked away, leaving a trail of water behind him. He hesitated before turning around and looking at Yoongi softly, "by the way, I'm Hoseok." Yoongi smiled at that.
"I'm Yoongi, nice to meet you."
