Neil: You're my lab partner. Our project is due tomorrow.
Neil: I mean, I was already planning on doing everything but you're going to fail if you don't show up.

Max: i havent seen her in days and she hasnt responded my calls or texts

Neil: Yeah she's alright.
Neil: She's kind of in trouble with our parents right now.
Max: ah shit

Neil: 15 minutes. I have Lit next and I can just ditch and email Mr. Jones after class.
Neil: I'm his favorite, he'll understand if I bullshit a reason for being absent without notice.

Neil walked into Chipotle, and looked around for Max. He turned his head and saw Max waving him over. Neil walked over to Max's table and sat down.
"Hey dude, what's up?" Max asked and took a big ass bite out of his burrito.
Neil grabbed one of the chips. "Not much. Honestly, I've been really stressed about-" he stopped himself from continuing.
"What?"
"What?"
"What were you going to say?"
"What do you mean, I didn't say anything."
"Yes you did, you said, 'I'm really stressed about-' and then you stopped talking," Max said.
"It's nothing, really."
"Shut the fuck up," Max said, annoyed.
Neil sighed and cracked his neck. "I'm sure Nikki would rather tell you."
"Wait, what?"
