Sam Winchester and Y/N Y/L/N a couple in a type of love that can only be described as electric. Whenever the two of them are with each other their eyes hold a spark of happiness that was as intense looking as lightning is. Everyone who had seen the two of them together could tell they were soulmates. The two of them even had that Hallmark, Nicholas Sparks type start.
A young Dean and Sam watched as John sped away after dropping them off at Bobby's.
"Oh, Sammy, let's go find Bobby." said Dean placing a hand on Sam's shoulder
"I'll check the junkyard." said Sam with a smile excited to see Bobby before he takes off down the yard
Dean laughed then before he made his way up to the Singer's house with a shake of his head.
Sammy zooms racing through the junkyard calling out for Bobby until he runs into someone. Both of you let out a grunt as you two tumble to the ground. Sam lands on top of you. Sam's eyes widen as he takes in the tiny girl underneath him.
"Who are you?" questioned the then unfamiliar girl with a raised brow from curiosity
"I'm.....I'm uh, S-Sam." scrambled out Sam as he stares down at you while getting off of you
She's beautiful. Thought Sam in awe as your eyes lit up in recognition
"You are Sam Winchester, Mister Bobby said you and your brother would come today." You said as you too stood up
"I'm Y/N Y/L/N." You said as you held your hand out with a friendly smile as Sam continues to stare at you
Sam had looked down at your hand for a few seconds before he finally took it and shook it slightly.
"I'm....I'm uh, Sam." repeated Sam which made you giggle
"You already said that." You commented making Sam even more flustered
"Oh, uh, sorry-" started Sam until a familiar voice interrupts him
"Sammy! Found Bobby." calls Dean standing behind the boy
The two of you turn to see Dean and Bobby standing side by side.
"Bobby." You cheered as you ran toward the older man hugging his hand with Sam following suit which made both Dean and Bobby laugh
Later that night Dean and Sam sat next to each other on the porch of Bobby's eating PBJ sandwiches. Sam's hazel eyes locked on you. You are with Bobby playing a tag of game. You laugh as you ran from the older man wearing your brightly colored overall that Sam thought was cute.
"You got a crush on her don't ya Sammy?" asks Dean with a grin
"I'm going to marry that girl one day." replied Sam with the small tinkle of electricity in his eyes
Even back then before Sam Winchester really knew what love is, knew that he wanted to be the one to marry you. He knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you and that want never changed.
A now teenage Sam and you laid on the hood of some junker in Bobby's yard staring up at the stars, your hand in his. Both Sam and you could both feel the electricity running through the simple touch. Sam gives your hand a squeeze happy to finally be able to hold your hand and to just be with you. The two of you had only made the thing between the two of you official that night.
"This feels nice." breathed out Sam as you cuddle to his chest immediately electricity ignites there
"Yeah, it does." You breathed out with a smile as you have always had a crush on the Winchester so it was nice to finally be able to call him your boyfriend
This is the start of something great, I just know. Thought Sam as he rested his head against yours.
Of course, not even a perfect couple doesn't have arguments once and awhile. Though the two of you have only had one really major one that almost ended the two of yours amazing relationship.
You are like lightning in a bottle that Sam couldn't let go of now that's he's got you. Though one time Sam tried to let you go.
The expression that if you love something then you should let it go is some that Sam has heard a thousand times. Except for right now is the only time he has truly ever really thought about it. Sam knew that you deserved better. You deserved someone who could give you a white picket fence, a kid or three, and a big house, the whole apple pie life. That just isn't Sam Winchester, especially not with the apocalypse breaking down his neck. Sam couldn't get out but that doesn't mean you can't.
"Y/N, can we talk?" asked Sam from where he sat on the edge of a motel bed with a nervous and sad expression
Sam's hands laying in his lap while he looks down at them. You emerge from the bathroom in the small motel space at Sam's question.
"Yeah, of course, babe." You answer as you quickly walk over to him taking a seat next to him
You look at his face and immediately notice his expression causing concern to arise in you.
"What's wrong?" You ask softly as you take one of Sam's hands in yours
Sam squeezed your hand while he rubbed his thumb over your hand while looking down at your hands acting as if he is trying to remember the feeling of you holding his hand.
"Sam." You say with a huge amount of concern in your eyes now more worried due to his silence
"I-I uh, I want to break up Y/N." says Sam not being able to look into your eyes
"What?" You question as you suck in a huge deep breath
"I....I just think it's for the best." responds Sam while his heart screams at him to shut up and apologize
"You what?" You question before you realize something.
One of your many talents is that you always are able to read Sam Winchester which comes in handy sometimes like right now. You could tell Sam didn't want to leave you by the way he is gripping your hand like he doesn't want to let go and by the way Sam won't look at you, you can tell that he is trying to not look at you or he will break. So by this information, you can tell that he isn't saying this because he actually wants to break up with you.
"Sam look me in the eyes and say you don't love me....and-and I'll leave." You say before letting out a shaky breath
You knew Sam couldn't do it but still you were little worried he might as he turns and looks at you. You could see the tears in his hazel eyes when his eyes meet yours.
"I....I-I can't do it." admits Sam softly making you let out a breath of relief
"Sam, what's this really about?" You ask softly
"I..I just feel you deserve so much more and so better than what I can give to you. You deserve to get that apple pie life with a big house, kids, and a dog maybe. All I can give to you is junky motel rooms, fast food, and getting injured all the time." says Sam softly
You look at Sam with a gentle look in your eyes as you reach your hand up to caress Sam's face.
"I don't want that life if that means you aren't in it. I love you Sam and I don't want us to not be together. Plus I'm happy. I love hunting with you and Dean. We help people, we save lives. It makes me happy to know I'm making a difference in the world." You say
"Really? You are happy?" questions Sam
He thought there was no way you were happy with how your lives are right now. Sam wants you to be happy it was also another reason why he thought you deserved better.
"I'm really happy. I have the best boyfriend and best friend in the whole wide world. How could I not be happy?" You reply making Sam smiles softly
"I'm so sorry, I love you, of course, I do. I could never not." says Sam softly feeling quite bad about his actions
"It's okay, Sam, just from now on instead of trying to break up with me tell me how you feel. Deal?" You say as you lean closer
"Deal." agrees Sam quickly with a nod making you smile softly
"I love you too, by the way, and always will." You say with that electric spark in your eyes making Sam smile as his eyes spark up too
Sam presses his lips to yours making a warmth spread through the both of you.
Sam loves you and he will always love you so Sam decided that he was finally going to make his childhood dream come true. He is going to marry you, he just hopes that you want that too.
"She's going to say, yes little tother calm down." says Dean with a chuckle as he helps the others set up the surprise
Sam pacing around biting his nails from worry.
"But what if she doesn't? What if I am just going to ruin the best relationship in my life? What if she dumps me because of this? What if I lost Y/N? I can't lose Y/N, I love her man. What-" starts Sam but is stopped by Dean's slapping
"Dude, what the hell?" asks Sam holding his cheek making Dean shrugs
"Just figure I needed to slap some sense back into ya'. You were talking pretty crazy." says Dean causing Sam to glare at him
"Look, Sam, Y/N dumping you is the craziest thing I have ever heard. That girl loves you Sam and she has been there with you through it all. She was even there when you went through puberty and she didn't dump you. She's going to say yes and she isn't going to dump you." says Dean as he places a comforting hand on Sam's shoulder
Sam lets out a shaky breath as he feels a little better after Dean's small speech.
"Thanks, Dean." says Sam with a grateful smile
"No problem, Sammy." says Dean with a small smile happy for his little brother
"Jody? What's going on? Where are we going now?" You question confused as you sit in the backseat of Jody's car which she forced you to do
All day Jody has been dragging you along to random places and you are starting to get confused.
"It's....it's uh, a surprise." answers Jody with a nervous edge to her voice
What's going on? You think with curiosity and confused
Sam pacing around nervously in his tux while feeling the velvet box in his hands trying to convince himself that everything is going to be okay.
"She's going to say yes! She's going to say yes! Y/N loves you, she wants to marry you. You are going to get her childhood dream, Sam." mumbles Sam to himself
Jody pulls up to the woods making you even more puzzled.
"Why are we in the woods?" You question Jody with furrowed brows
"Get out and see." answers Jody with a grin
Your brows furrow even more as you get out of the car. You look to see there's a trail of red rose petals laying on the ground. You look back to see Jody, who gives you a thumbs up, before you decide to follow the rose petals.
You continue down the rose petals trail trying to figure out what exactly is going on.
It's not my birthday or Sam's...I know it's not our anniversary so what's going on? You think as you continue down the trail before it suddenly ends
You look up to see an opening in the forest where little candles are placed in a perfect circle and in the middle of that circles stands Sam with his back to you.
"Sam?" You call out as you step over the candles carefully before heading towards the longer haired man
Sam turns around with the velvet box open revealing the small diamond ring.
"I...uh, I know it's not-" starts Sam nervous as he takes his hand in yours
"It's perfect, Sam, it's beautiful." You say as tears gather in your eyes
Sam smiles shakily at you while he gets down on one knee trying to make it as traditional as he can as he doesn't get to do traditional very often.
"Y/N Y/L/N when I first meet you I told Dean that one day I was going to marry you and I intend to do that. You are my best friend, the girl I love, and my everything. You make me feel all kind of feelings I have never felt before. You make me feel alive, and electric. I get those cheesy movies like sparks whenever I touch you and I love it, I love everything about you. So will you make me the happiest man in the whole world and marry me?" says Sam as tears of happiness run down both you and his face
"Yes, yes, of course, I would love too. I would love to be Mrs.Winchester." You say with a huge grin
Sam grins as he slips the beautiful ring on to his fingers. You squeal when Sam stands up and wraps his arms around you before he spins you around. You laugh while Sam sets you down with a huge grin on his face also keeping his arms around your waist.
"I love you so much." You say as your hands move to cup Sam's face before you gently wipe the tears off of Sam's face
"I love you more." says Sam before he crashes his lips onto yours as cheers from your friends and families are here as well as cheering from them
"You go, Sammy!" You hear Dean yell as the two of them pull apart standing in front of the crowd
You blush as you look at the others while Sam beams at the group before he presses his lips back to yours.
Looks like the two of yours electric love isn't fizzling out anytime soon in fact it looks like it will last forever. Also Sam Winchester finally got his childhood dream, you are going to be Mrs.Winchester.
