Lemme know what you think!

Chapter 7:

"Anna?" I heard a familiar voice call my name. I didn't want to get up. I just stayed on the ground.

"Anna!" the voice said again, I felt myself being lifted into his arms but didn't respond to anything.

"Please talk to me." he begged. I looked up at Lou and he wiped away the tear left on my cheek.

"She's right." was all I could mutter out. He grabbed me and pulled me as close as possible.

"About what? What did she tell you?!"

"I'm not pretty..." I sniffed

"Annie you are the most gorgeous girl I have ever met."

"Lies. You just say that because you're supposed to."

"No, I say it because it's the truth." Lou said, I looked up in his eyes and he looked earnest.

"You only say that because your my best friend..." I mumbled. He just rolled his eyes at me.

"You're insecure, don't know what for," he started singing his hit song to me. I just rolled my eyes.

"If you think some stupid song-"

"You're turning heads when you walk through the door,"

"Lou-"

"Don't need makeup, to cover up, being the way that you are is enough!"

I just shut up and smiled as he sang the song. It really wasn't a surprise they had so many fans- it really felt like he was singing directly to me.

He smirked as he sang and I couldn't help but giggle. It reminded me of when we were little and he would run around singing "Annie is a cheesehead!" in the park.

I would chase after him and tackle him to the ground, ruining my pretty dresses. I didn't care though, I was having fun.

"That's what makes you beautiful," he sang the last note. I looked up at him and smiled as he wiped the last tear from my cheek.

Why was I crying in the first place?

Oh right, Sam...

How can you date that?" I chuckled hoarsely. I saw a glimmer of a smile on his face.

"Do you want the truth?"

"Yes."

"I honestly can't stand her. I'm only dating her for paparazzi."

"What?"

"Managers thought it'd be good for my image if I had a model for a girlfriend, so they set me up with her." he said indifferently, staring at his fingernails.

"Wait, does she know that too?"

"Yup,"

"So it's all a lie?" I felt some relief wash through me for some reason. What did I care? Louis is my best friend.

"Yeah, pretty much." he spoke as if none of it mattered.

I smiled up at him. It was good to know I wasn't ruining a real relationship.

FLASH! Cameras came at us from all directions. I shielded my eyes and we got up and ran back to Louie's car.

"So why do you bring her over to your house if none of it's real?" I asked as he started driving.

"Well, it comes with some perks," he said, waggling his eyebrows. I smacked his shoulder.

"OW! Don't hit the driver or he might have to do this!" he let go of the steering wheel to tickle me and we swerved around on the road.

"LOUIE!" I shrieked as two bright lights came near us. he turned just in time to avoid the oncoming sixteen wheeler.

I sighed a breath of releif and slumped back in my seat.

"That was close." I said, trying to get my heart rate back to normal. Lou on the other hand was laughing hysterically.

"You jerk! You could've killed someone!" I yelled at him.

"Admit it, it was kind of funny!" he said. I stuck my tongue out at him.

"Nope." I crossed my arms and turned the other way, refusing to look at him.

"Bet it would've been funny if Harry did it," he muttered under his breath.

I whipped my head around.

"What was that?"

"Nooothin..."

"That was definitely something."

"Don't know what you're talking about."

"Louis,"

"Annie," he replied in the same tone. I felt his hand reach under my chin as he forced me to meet his eyes.

"Do you love him?" he asked. I just stared back.

"I said, do you love him?" when I didn't answer he turned back to the road.

"Thought so," he muttered under his breath.

"Lou, we've only been dating two weeks now, I can't say we're in love." I finally spoke up.

He turned back to me. "Fine, let me ask you this, is he the one you see yourself spending the rest of your life with?"

I stared at Lou for a moment before the flashback came.

***FlashBack***

I was sitting on the living room floor, playing Chutes and Ladders with Lou, our parents on the couch watching us.

I climbed up the biggest ladder on the board and jumped up and down excitedly. I saw Lou trying to work something out in his head.

"You counted wrong!" he yelled, pointing a chubby finger at the board.

"Did not!"

"Yeah huh you should be here!" he said, pointing at the spot on the board.

"No I'm right where I should be!" Lou pushed me to the ground and we started wrestling on the floor, laughing the whole time.

"I hear wedding bells," Mr. Tomlinson said from his spot on the couch. Louie sat up, crinkling his nose.

"I don't hear anything!" he said, crossing his arms and pouting.

"They will make the cutest couple ever!" my mom said, clapping her hands.

"Couple?" I questioned.

"As in husband and wife?" Louie added. The parents nodded at us.

"EWWWW!" we said at the same time.

"Marriage is for old people!" Lou scoffed

"Yeah, I don't want to marry him!" I added, pointing a finger at Lou.

"I don't want to have to kiss her either!" he crinkled his nose at the thought and I did the same.

"We're never getting married!" I added, sticking my tongue out at the parents.

"you say that now, but wait till your older!" Lou's mum said.

"Hey, I don't hear wedding bells, but I hear ice cream bells!" Lou said getting up and racing to the door. I ran up to my dad who handed me a dollar before I raced after him.

"Hey I want a spongebob pop!" I yelled to the ice cream man who started driving away. Lou smiled and held one out to me.

"I already got one for you!" he smiled, chocolate already covering his face. I yanked it out of his hand and hugged him before taking off the wrapper.

I vaguely heard my dad humming the brides march in the background as we ran to the swing set together.

***Flashback Ends***

I'm still looking into Lou's eyes as he waits for my answer.

"Alright, who do you see yourself spending the rest of your life with then?" he rephrased the question.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw something in the middle of the road in front of us.

"LOUIS!" I screamed at him. It looked like he smiled triumphantly for a moment before I whipped his head forward towards the road.

I closed my eyes as he slammed on the breaks. The screech deafened me. I felt the jolt of the car as we crashed into something.

When there was silence I opened my eyes and slowly turned my head to Lou. His eyes remained transfixed on the road, too paralyzed in fear to move.

"Lou?" I shook his shoulder gently. He jumped back to consciousness and slammed out if the car and into the road. I quickly followed.

"What'd we-" I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw a person lying motionless on the road. Instantly I recognized them with even seeing the face.

I'd know those curls anywhere...

BUM BUM BUM! sorry but I felt like if I kept this chapter going any longer it'd never end...
