I looked from Leah to baby girl seeing that she did resemble me but how?
"Nah Le she ain't mine" I shook my head passing her to Leah
"JR she's yours. Remember that night you broke up with Aaliyah? The day before my trip to Mexico? You were at the club drunk and so was I. You grabbed my hand we ended up coming back to your house and fucked. You ain't wear a condom and well here she is" She said as she cleaned her up
I sat on her bathroom floor in shock. Nah she couldn't be mine. No way in hell

"Kareem can't have kids. We've tired to have our baby and it always failed. He went to get checked out and it turned out he'll never be able to have kids that's how I know she's yours. you don't have to believe me. You can get a DNA test if you don't believe me"
Before I could say anything the paramedics barged in. I backed away watching them take them away

"I'll follow ya'll there" I told Leah
She simply nodded her head.
I got in my car sending everyone a quick text letting them know to get to the hospital.
The whole way to the hospital I couldn't stop thinking.
Can she really be mine? I mean I know I fucked her but shit why didn't she say anything? Why did she keep it from me?
She went through her whole pregnancy not saying shit to me. Then had a gender reveal party that my ass wasn't even gonna ge invited too.
I pulled up to the hospital getting out the car.
"You're with the woman that came in with the baby?" A nurse asked me as I walked in
"Yeah"
"Right this way" She said as she started walking
I followed behind her until we finally got to the room. They were getting both of them situated
"Have you thought of a name yet?" A nurse was asking her as I walked in.
"Yeah. Nala Wright" Leah smiled while holding baby girl
"Nah I ain't having that"I interrupted
The nursed looked at me then at Leah
"Is there something wrong sir?"The nurse asked
"Yeah. Can you give us a moment before you write baby girl's name" I told her
She nodded and walked out with the rest of the nurses behind her.
"What do you want JR" Leah said in a frustrated tone
"Fuck you mean what I want Leah? You tell me she's mine and then you're not even gonna give her my last name? Fuck type shit is that?" I semi yelled
"Can you please calm yo tone. You don't even believe she's yours and my baby isn't gonna be nameless until you decide to do the DNA test. And be happy I'm giving her mine and not Kareem's" She snapped
"I wish you would. Leah I wish you would give her that nigga's name. That's disrespectful as shit"
"You want to know what's disrespectful? The way you've been treating me. You believe a bitch over me. Denied my son,Put your hands on me and said some real hurtful ass shit.All for what? You told another bitch my business JR so get out of here with that disrespectful ass shit"
"Listen I'm sorry ight. I already apologized but I'll do it all over again as long as you forgive me. I wasn't right and I let other people get in my head. I'll get the test done right now because I'll be damned if she's mine and doesn't have my last name" I told her
"It's whatever at this point. Just be a good dad that's all I ask"
"What about our friendship? Cause I ain't tryna lose that Kay'Leah" I said using her full first name so she knew I was serious
"We can work on it because at this point my trust for you no longer exist so our friendship is going to take a little long "
"I'll do whatever but why didn't you tell me about her?"
"I was gonna tell you the day everything went down between us. I had just found out I was pregnant 4 months pregnant to be exact. I was waiting for you to get home and when everything happened and you denied Vontae I simply said fuck it" She shrugged
That shit just made me feel even more like shit. Because of my own actions I missed out on her pregnancy with my daughter.
"Are you guys ready?" The nurse came in
"Uh is there anyway I can get a DNA test with quick results?" I asked her
"Yeah with the new technology we have you can get your results within 15 minutes" She smiled
"Let's do it"
She nodded her head getting everything she needed before swapping my mouth and then theirs.
"Okay I got everything. I'll be back within 15 with your results" She said walking out.
I walked over to the little bed where she was laying.
I stared at her as she squirmed probably from the cold.
"You cold?" I chuckled placing the small blanket over her "Can I carry her?" I asked Leah
"Yeah" She gave me a small smile
I carefully grabbed her placing her securely in my arms. I smiled as I walked to a chair near by sitting down
Looking at her I just knew she was mine. I got the same feeling I had when I held Vontae for the first time.
She opened her eyes giving me a small smile causing my heart to melt.
After 15 minutes the nurse came in handing Leah the papers before walking out
"Here I'll take her while you look at them" She said
I got up placing her in Leah's arms while I grabbed the envelope
I opened it getting the papers out reading them
the results were 99.9% that she was mine.
"She's mine" I smiled
"I told you. You know I wouldn't be pinning no baby on you"
"I know I'm sorry so we're naming her Nala?"
"Unless you want another name?"
"Nah I like that name" I smiled
"Nala Upshaw"

"You really gotta leave" Bella whined as I got out of the bed heading towards the bath room to shower
I had gotten a text from JR saying Leah gave birth so I had to go make sure her and my niece were straight.
"Stop all that whining shit G" I told her
I've been fucking with her for a bit now tryna get all the information I could on Angelo's bitch ass. So far everything was going smoothly.
This girl be singing like a bird once I lay the pipe on her
"I'm sorry I just miss you when you're gone" She pouted as I stepped inside the shower
"Girl stop all that pouting and put yo mouth to use" I told her
With hesitation she got in dropping down to her knees and putting my dick in her mouth

Finishing up I got out and got dressed. I walked down the stairs grabbing my hoodie off the rack
"So you just gonna leave me?" I heard her say from behind me.
I turned and seen her sitting on the stairs in bra and panties looking at me
"Man Bella I told you I have shit to do. Why you gotta make shit difficult. I'll see you later" I went over to her kissing her forehead.
"I just thought I would go with and meet your family"
"Listen today is not the day. I promise you'll meet them soon ight?"
"Okay please be careful"
"Always" I said leaving out the door heading to my car
Bella was a chill chick and really pretty but I was interested in Jasmine that girl was my baby she just ain't know it yet.
I got in my car turning it on and pulling off. As i got on the express way i got a call from uncle Mally
"Wassup Unk"
"We have a situation"
