Jimin was happy when he saw a slight smile forming on (Y/N)'s cherry lips. Not anyone can notice her smile because she always keep an emotionless expression on her face. He can see that the corner of her lips slightly move upward, he found it really cute. He was proud of Jin when he suddenly started his dad jocks session that caused her smile.
Everyone was making an effort trying to make her feel comfortable. But he didn't like it when Taehyung started brushing her hair with his fingers. He can't blame him though her hair was astonishing. He couldn't stop himself from touching it when he saw her brushing her hair earlier. But Jimin know when to stop. Taehyung, on the other hand, dumbly kept stroking her hair while he was chatting with Hosoek without paying attention to her body language that screams uncomfortableness.
Jimin reached his hand from behind her, not wanting her to notice, and grabbed Taehyung's hand stopping him, who looked at him confused. He gestured for him to stop. Taehyung froze and looked at (Y/N). He must have noticed her nervousness because he saw her hand grabbing tightly on her sweater, he nodded to Jimin and brought his hand back to his lap.
Namjoon cleared his throat making everyone's silent.
Namjoon: " since we're done with the introductions, let's talk about what is really important here". He finished his sentence and looked at (Y/N).
Namjoon: " I'm relieved to know that Jimin had already explained to you the situation". (Y/N) nodded confirming.
Namjoon: "well, I'm sure everyone here is curious to know you". He said getting nodes from everyone.
Namjoon: " can you tell us about yourself (Y/N)? We want to know you better". He said.
Jimin saw Yoongi shifting in his seat leaning forward resting his elbows on his knees giving his full attention to the topic.
Y/N: "there's nothing much to tell". She said calmly.
Jin: "anything would be great". He said smiling encouraging her to talk.
Taehyung: " how about telling us about your eyes, how long have it been like this?". He asked excitedly.
Y/N: "I was born with them." She answered making everyone's shocked.
Taehyung: "amazing". He said and stared at her in amazement.
Yoongi: "wait, this is originally your eye color?".
Y/N: " yes, I know it isn't normal but there's nothing I can do about it".
Jimin: " you don't have to do anything, you're eyes are just amazing" he said causing her to look back at Jimin in surprise. She didn't say a thing though. She closed her parted lips and turned to look away. Jimin smiled at her reaction. He sensed his words touched her.
Yoongi: "do you know anything about the place we found you in?". He asked.
Y/N: " I only know that I was a test subject, I was called Subject Zero, they don't show their faces, they keep me locked up and make sure my eyes were covered."
Yoongi: "this little information could help". He looked at Namjoon who nodded in agreement.
Namjoon: "what about your family?". he asked. Jimin saw her body tensing after she heard the question.
Y/N: "my mother used to be a scientist before I was born, but she quite her job after My birth". She said. Everyone was paying attention to her with curious eyes.
Hoseok: "and your father?". He asked.
Y/N: "my father..., I really know nothing about him, I've never met him before and mother never spoke about him". She said.
Jin: "where is your mother? She must be really worried about you". He asked in concern.
Y/N: "it doesn't matter, she's not worried". She said in a cold tone.
Jimin: "why?". He asked confused.
She was quiet for a while before she looked at Jimin and answered again.
Y/N: "because she's dead". She spoke these words as she was trying hard to not show emotions. But Jimin sensed the sorrow in her tone. His expression softened. His heart sunk deep in his chest for her great loss. He reached his hand and held hers. He gently squeezed it in his hand.
Jimin: "I'm very sorry for your loss". He said.
She stared at him. He saw the tears in her eyes but she looked away immediately. Jimin heart broke at the sight. He wanted to hold her in his arms and comfort her. He wanted to tell her that he know how she feels. But he didn't want to scare her off like that. She didn't mind him holding her hand though. Maybe he's making a progress. This is the least he could do for her.
She spoke after the silence fill the room.
Y/N: "it's ok, it happened a long time ago".
Namjoon: "it breaks our heart to know this, we were planning to contact your family but since you have non, you're more than welcome to stay here for as long as you want". He said reassuring.
Taehyung: "yaay! She's staying with us". He said and jumped excitingly pulling Jungkook and forcing him to join him. Jungkook was shy in front of (Y/N). He tried to slip away from Taehyung's grasp but he failed.
Y/N: "I'm very thankful for your generosity, you've already done so much for me, you don't need to do this, I don't want to cause you any trouble". She said and Taehyung stopped jumping around and paused looking sad.
Jimin: "(Y/N) please,we insist that you stay here, we'll make sure to protect you from any harm". He said making her expression relaxed.
Yoongi: "(Y/N), we work under a very powerful organization, we can provide you the protection you need, so it would be wise if you choose to stay". He reassured.
Y/N: "I..." she paused thinking deeply.
Namjoon: "I assure you, you'll be safe here". He said
Everyone looked at her hoping she'll accept the offer.
Y/N: "I don't really have many options, do I?"
Hoseok: "nope, we're your only hope". He said jokingly.
Y/N: "alright, I would like to stay". She said and everyone cheered at her choice.
Jin: "(Y/N), welcome to Bangtan family". He said with a cheerful smile.
Taehyung rushed towards her and wrapped his arms around her while giggling happily. She was shocked at his action. Jimin was ready to release her from his grip and scold him. But, to Jimin's surprise, she stopped him from interpreting letting Jimin know that she's ok. She held Taehyung back and smiled.
Jimin looked at the scene in front him. It made him smile. Taehyung grabbing to her giggling and she calmly holding him back while smiling. He noticed her acting differently. After this conversation they had with her she began to relaxed around them. He was happy of this progress he witnessed. He can't wait to see the real her that is not hiding behind the cold mask she always keep.

I know, I'm sorry for not updating for a while. It's just that I have rewritten the chapter three times because I wasn't satisfied with how the story went. This chapter took my whole energy it's the hardest chapter I have ever written. I may need sometime to refresh my ideas and maybe get inspired again for the next chapter, so please be patient with me and enjoy reading this chapter.
