Zen's POV
the sun is about to set with pinkish-orange painted in the sky, breathtaking! as I took a pause on my favorite side of the bridge, the view is great with refreshing cool wind as it touches my face that even froze a single tear under my chin
still wearing the apron from Mr. Shan's Diner, I leaned my elbows on the bridge feeling the wind beneath my pony-tailed hair
my body aches but my mind seems empty with all the works I had earlier
I took a deep breath when I felt someone staring at me from the other side of the bridge
slowly I pretended that I'm not aware and acted strange
*yawning*
what a day! making sure I uttered loudly
my eyes glared trying not to make it obvious and run as fast as I could without turning back
the beautiful scene became dark as if there's a storm coming, some thick clouds almost covered the whole town with thunders and heavy wind
it was dark when I reached home, panting with fear I opened the main door and locked myself in
what was that? I furrowed realizing how stupid I am for acting weird, holding my bag, I ran a hand on my face and sighed deeply
heavy rain again I mumbled when some stuff caught my attention as I went inside, dirt and trash are everywhere
not again, dad? I called
when will he be more responsible with his own mess murmuring in my head
whatever I added
I took off the apron I'm wearing and started cleaning the house with a heavy face, turning around as minutes go by
finally! I mumbled with a heavy steps on the staircase, I am about to open my door when I heard my Dad coming in
Zen? he banged as he walks in so drunk
Zen! he called again
I froze and just listened to him
buy me something to drink! get your ass down here right now! he blurted with rage but less expected he fell asleep on his couch with a big snore
I closed my eyes to let a tear out and sighed heavily, I tiptoed to my room, untying my hair and cried but right away I snored badly as well as I reached my bed and forgetting another day of hard works
