i hope that you'll do what you really love, too. just like how the speaker and felix pursued their dreams. don't worry, in this fanfic, felix never forgot the speaker ;-) it's just the speaker wanted to stay away from him since they think that it's for the best.
you are lucky enough if you know what you want to be, you know. some people (ahem, me) don't really know or are still confused with what they want to be.
also, don't forget that sometimes, you really have to hold on and don't lose hope. but in some cases, the best option is letting go :-(
