I heard something land on the floor and some whimpers
I see the joker angrily walk past my bedroom door and the outside door slam meaning he had left for the day
I slowly got up walking to the edge of my room and peaking my head out from the other side of the door looking down the hallway
This whole place was GIANT there were doors everywhere leading down long hallways leading to more doors with more hallways, every room was pretty big and also very dark with candle lit lights
I carefully tip toed down the hallway and the crying got louder
This I was my 2nd night staying in their house... type.... mansion, and to be honest with you, I wasn't actually feeling to scared, its kinda dodgy yeah cause I'm staying in a strangers house.... and working for them
I still didn't know what my job was all about but I had no other option... I needed this
For my mother
I pecked around the corner from where the crying came from and saw Harley on the ground holding her face crying...
I run over to her "H-Harley...? Are you alright"
She bolts up and sniffs "y-yeah.. I'm fine suga, whata bout ya self?" She doesn't face me trying to make it look like she wasn't crying
"Harley what happened to you...?" I walked around so I could see her face and she had a big black eye
She closed her eyes and looked down "N-nothing happened Y/N...."
"Was this joker?"
"No no Mista J loves me that's all"
"Harley..." I breathed out
I lightly brushed her face with my hand and looked into her eyes
"Harley you know you,can't let him do this to you..."
She tried her hardest not to break in front of me but she broke...
I pulled her in to me

Second day...
I was nervous again
But not as nervous because I knew Harley had no bad feelings towards me
I'm scared all my past feelings will come back...
I can't become just like she did

*bzzz* "name"
I push the button "Y/N L/N"
"Don't have to say your last name ma'am we know who you are" he says in a grumpy voice
"Well you just told me to say it yesterday" I say in a whisper so the man on the other end can't hear me
*bzzzz* "walk on through"
I smile, then realise he can't see me so I frown

As I'm walking in a guy comes walking towards me
He smiles and I stop "hi, Y/N is it?" I nod "I'm Flags" he holds out his hand for me to shake
I do so and smile
"I assume you've met everyone in this loony bin?" He says and I frown but nod my head
This isn't a loony bin.... well....
I start walking towards Harley's cell he follows me and continues "You've met Harley?"
"Yeah I have, her and me use-" he cuts me off "oh I hope she wasn't too much trouble, was she?"
"Uhhh, no she was act-" he cuts me off again "she seems to not be too bad when I'm around I'll come watch how she acts today"
He clearly doesn't know that her and I have a past... I'll play with this fact...
I smirk to myself "do you know Harley's real name?" He asks me
"Nope" I said popping the p
I did know. It's Harleen Frances Quinzel.
"It's Harleen Frances Quinzel"
I fake gasp "really?"
He nods his head proudly
We make it to the gates and the guards let us in
Flags walks in and tells the guards something that makes them all walk out of the door leaving no one in the room.... they seem to think flags has power over Harley and they trust him but not me... they know fucken nothing
"Harley, Its me" he yelled making me jump
"Harleen I want you to meet Y/N"
I see her sitting on her bed reading all peacefully, she looked so cute...
I put my finger up to my lips so only Harley could see what I was doing
She smiled and nodded meaning she knew what I was saying and deciding to go with it
"Hi Y/N, I'm Harley" she held out her hand
I went to go shake it but flags spoke up "be nice" he warned her and she smirked at me
"Always" she whispered towards him and shook my hand
"Can I go into her cage?" I ask
His eyes widen "uhh... I don't think that would be-" this time I cut him off "what... you don't think I could handle myself? Or are you just afraid of what your boss would say?"
He scoffs "I am my own boss"
"Let me in then"
"Fine" he says and looks to Harley, she puts her hand up in defence "I ain't gonna do nothin" she says and backs away
He unlocks the cage and I smirk at Harley "thank you"
When I'm in the cage her sent hits my face and I smile
She went to go grab me but flags got in the way of us and she backed up "Harleen you know the rules"
She looked me in the eyes and I could see she wanted to touch my skin somehow
I looked at flags and he stepped out of the way "she won't touch you, you wanna know why?" He smirked to himself thinking he was the man
"Why?" I asked
Before he could ask Harley ran towards me and jumped on me hugging me tight
She put her legs around my waist and her face in my neck as I held onto her missing her scent
"HEY!" Flagged yelled "get off of her! I have my gun....uh"
"What's wrong flags? Missing something" I held up his gun and laughed, Harley got down and hugged me from behind putting her face into my neck once again
"What... how... uh how'd... you know each other?"
I nodded my head "you should have done more research flags... I used to work with Harley and joker"
I turned to Harley putting my hands on each side of her face "I missed my girl" I say to her as she squeals
She leaves my side and goes to sit down but before she does I say "give this to flags" holding out his gun
"No don't. She can't be trusted with that... it's a gun for god sake, she might shoot you, OR ME?!"
I shake my head "Harley?" I say "yes?" She looks at me with puppy dog eyes
"Don't shoot flags okay?"
She huffs but nods her head, I could still see flags in the corner also shitting himself because he didn't trust Harley at all. I did. I knew Harley would always listen to me.
She grabs the gun and goes to give it to him but then turns around and aims it at me
"See!! See I told you this was a bad idea! We're all doomed!!" I sigh "Harley, you're not going to shoot me" I say
She smiles then laughs "you're right Y/N I love ya too much to shoot ya pretty face"
Flags grabs the gun and Harley sits on her bed
"Come on flags, you ok?" I laugh
He straightens up "I'm fine" he says while clearing this throat
"Mr flags shat himself" Harley laughed at him as I locked the door
"Bye Harls see you later" I wave
"Bye Y/N"
