"Where's Kim and Tim" Nicole asked with a slight laugh. Her laugh was intoxicating and I couldn't help but smile at her as I followed her to the sofa.
"They have gone out exploring..you were completely out and I said I would stay back and make sure you were ok" I replied handing her the bottle of water.
She blushed slightly and looked towards the floor. She seemed slightly embarrassed. It just made me smile. I lightly placed the bag on her cheek and she winced with pain.
"I'm sorry for being a dick to you back home" I sighed and her eyes found mine.
"What I said was totally unacceptable and untrue" I added feeling guilty as I continued to press the peas to her cheek.
"It's ok" Nicole shook her head.
"No really it's not..I wanted to message you on Facebook so many times but I thought why not say it face to face so I convinced Kim to organise this" I blurted out and her eyes furrowed.
"This was your idea" She asked raising an eye brow.
"Yeh" I replied letting out a huge sigh. I felt like an idiot for actually telling her the truth.
"I got drunk so I wouldn't have to face being around you and now look at us" she laughed reaching up to hold the peas and her hand was on top of mine.
She didn't remove her hand and either did I. My heart was thumping hard against my chest with such a simple touch. She looked pale and hungover but she was still so hot. I could see her gulp. She was thinking just like me. I know she wants this, just as much as me.

"You puked on your clothes and it got in your hair so Kim gave your a shower when we got here" Lily said and I nodded.

"I'm just going to have a lie down if that's ok with you" I said and I could see the disappointment in Lily's face.

It wasn't more than five minutes when I heard the door open quietly and foot steps. Lily tip toed into her room and I watched her pick her jacket from her desk. She was leaving me.
"Where are you going" I asked and she jumped slightly and turned to look at me.
"I was just going to the shops to get you some food for when you get up" She replied.
So she wasn't going to pick up some other girl because I practically rejected her in the bathroom. I sat up on the bed and kneeled on the end of the bed.
"Are you ok" she asked holding her jacket and looking at me full of confusion.
