It was a normal day.
Home to work like usual.
During my lunch break I went to the restaurant I always went to.
"The same sir?"
I nodded at the waitress as I sat down at my usual table. I picked up the newspaper that was on the counter and began to read. There was nothing interesting enough to keep me engaged. I started to look around the place. My eyes landed on the far table. It wasn't very visible. I squinted my eyes to get a better look.
Hoseok was sitting there.
He didn't tell me he was off work.
He was laughing hard. He wasn't alone.
"Sir?"
I looked back at the waitress.
"Your order."
"Oh. Thank you."
She walked away.
I turned back towards the table but they weren't there anymore.
I sighed.
What exactly did I see?
Should I be worried?
Who was that person?
I had thoughts running through my head as I sat and stared at my food.
"Is something wrong with the dish?"
I got out of my bubble and shook my head.
"No, no everything is okay."
I forced a smile.
The thoughts lingered.
My food became cold, just like my chest.
What should I do?
