••• Ukyo's P.O.V •••
I am almost finished preparing breakfast for everyone. It's been a routine for me to be with Mari every morning, cooking breakfast with me, wearing her sleepwear-----I mean she's been wearing her fluffy and cute pajamas....
Iori was watering the plants inside the kitchen. I looked at my wrist watch and she didn't came down today. Quite unusual for Mari because she's always eager to do this thing, with me.... I guess?
Suddenly heard someone walking inside the kitchen, I fixed my stance and began doing the "kitchen work".
Ukyo: "I'm already done preparing. You can eat yours... And you don't have to thank----" -I stopped as I saw Tsubaki instead of Mari
Tsubaki: "Ohayou, Ukyo-nii. Iori." -he yawned as he approached the dining table
Iori: "Good morning."
Azusa entered the kitchen and helped me.
Ukyo: "Its unusual for Tsubaki to come down here first." -I laughed awkwardly
Azusa: "Well I was the one who forced him into waking up early." -he brought the food at the table
Tsubaki: "I also wanted to see Mari-chan today! Our schedules are quite tough this week so I wanted to have some booster." -he giggled
Tsubaki searched for a sign that Mari was there.
Ukyo: "She hasn't come down."
Azusa: "Must've overslept since I saw her bedroom lights open on."
Tsubaki: "You sneaky perv! Are you peeping on her---"
Azusa: "I do not." -he punched Tsubaki's head
We heard loud footsteps that seems to go in the kitchen. There we saw Mari-chan.
••• NORMAL P.O.V •••
Mari: "Ukyo-san! I am sorry for not helping you today with the breakfast----"
Ukyo: "It's okay, Mari." -he smiled as Mari continue bowing her head
Tsubaki: "Perfect timing! Join us for breakfast! I woke up early just to be with you." -he winked
Mari: "Sorry Tsubaki-san but I have to go! Tell Yuusuke-kun I'll go ahead first." -she said as she wore her school shoes
Azusa: "At least eat some." -he said worriedly
Mari: "Thank you Azusa-san but I am late~" -she waved her hands goodbye as he went inside the elevator
Azusa: "She's late for what?" -they all looked at the wall clock
(The Next Day)
Ukyo was alone in preparing the breakfast. He was expecting for Mari to help him again but it seems it won't. Iori was with him, doing some flower arrangements at the table. Azusa suddenly entered the kitchen together with Mari.
Iori: "Good morning Mari-san. Azusa-nii." -he smiled
Mari: "Good morning Iori-san! I'm sorry but I won't be helping you out today, Ukyo-san."
Ukyo: "It's fine. Don't worry about it."
Azusa: "You seem to be in a hurry again.."
Mari: "I'll be going! I won't have breakfast! Bye Iori-san! Bye Ukyo-san!" -she waved as she left the kitchen
(The Next Next Day)
Ukyo finished preparing breakfast this time, hoping Mari would eat just a little.
Mari: "Gotta go! Bye Ukyo-san!"
Subaru entered the kitchen and saw Ukyo, Azusa, Iori and Tsubaki sitting at the dining table, looking and waving good bye at Mari.
Subaru: "What's wrong? Is there a burial here?" -he joked
And it continued like that for a few weeks, that they got accustomed to it
••• Mari-chan's P.O.V •••
I ran as fast as I could and reached the train station. I looked around but I didn't see him. He said we should meet here and go to school together.
Mari: "I wasn't late.. Did he really left me here?"
Someone poked my shoulder from behind.
Ryouma: "Grabbed us some hot coffee.... In a can." -he showed me 2 cans of coffee drink
I looked at him. He must've been waiting for me since his hands seems cold.
Mari: "Did I made you wait too long?"
Ryouma: "Not really. It's just that winter's about to come and I forgot about it HAHAHAHA." -he handed me the other hot coffee
I didn't drink the coffee and put it inside my bag.
Ryouma: "You don't want?"
Mari: "I'll have it when I eat lunch."
Ryouma: Where do you wanna go eat breakfast? I haven't had anything yet... For the past few days." -he laughed
Mari: "Me too. So where are we going this time?" -I laughed
He grabbed my hand and went inside the train. I felt my cheeks getting hot.
••• Ryouma's P.O.V •••
I smiled at her.
Ryouma: "Let's grab something to eat. My treat."
Mari: "But we might get late on class----"
Ryouma: "Its still early and besides as the Student Council President I have the power, if you have forgotten about it." -I winked
Mari: "Now you're taking advantage of your position huh?" -she looked at me with a serious face then started giggling at the same time
Train Operator: "We arrived at the Kuki-cho Station."
Ryouma: "Let's go. I am starving."
She laughed and nodded as we got off the train.
Ryouma: "You are going to love this place..." -I scratched my head
(11-7 Convenience Store)
Ryouma: "So what's your order??" -I acted like a five star restaurant waiter
Mari began laughing so hard.
••• TIME-SKIP ••• Mari-chan's P.O.V •••
Mari: "I thought we were going to be late!!! And I really enjoyed eating at a konbini." -I laughed as we walked through the hallway
Ryouma: "Told you, we have a lot of time. Well, it's the only thing I could think of." -he laughed
Student: "Kaichou! We need you to look on this stuff. At the meeting room."
Ryouma: "I'll be going ahead first, Mari-chan. See you." -he smiled as he left
As I entered the classroom, I saw Yuusuke sitting at his desk. He was looking at the window alone. I decided to go near him.
Mari: "I'm glad you're not late." -I smiled as lean over
Yuusuke jolted. I must've surprised him. Then he went looking back to the window like he seems to ignore me.
Mari: "Are you mad? I am really sorry!" -I bowed
Yuusuke: "Nah it's fine. It's just that you promised me that you'll walk with me this morning."
Mari: "Yes, I wanted to ask you about things regarding P.E..." -I shyly said
Yuusuke: "Then tell me directly, stupid. I thought you were....." -he averted his eyes
As I was about to ask him about it, our first subject teacher entered the classroom and told us that we'll have an activity to do.
••• Yuki's P.O.V •••
(Lunch Break)
Risa: "Let's go grab something at the cafeteria."
Eiko: "I. AM. STARVINGGGG." -she said exaggerating
We laughed.
Yuki: "I'm not yet done with the classroom duties. Go ahead, I'll follow." -I was checking attendance
Mari: "I'll be with Yuki-chan. You can go ahead first." -she smiled as she sat beside me
Hitomi: "Well, our friend is already having a 50:50 life rate." -she sarcastically looked at Eiko
They left and headed into the cafeteria.
Classmate 1: "Mari someone's here for you."
Mari: "Ryouma-kun? Do you need anything?"
Ryouma: "Yeah ummm want to eat lunch with me?"
Oh what's this? I never knew they were close--- wait! ITS ALL BECAUSE OF THE GOUKON?!
Mari: "Sure but I'm waiting for Yuki and I have to tell Eiko I won't be joining them today..."
Yuki: "I'll be heading to Risa's so you can join the Kaichou. I'll be the one to explain why you won't be joining us." -I winked exaggeratedly
We suddenly heard a loud cough from behind. It was from Yuusuke. He stood up and walked pass us.
Yuki: "You should tell me what happened after you disappeared together with the Kaichou." -I grabbed her wrists and made her lean to me so that I could whisper it
Mari: "You're insane, Yuki. Stop teasing." -she said awkwardly
I laughed quietly at her reactions and continued doing some teasing gestures.
Ryouma: "Hey, your hair... It's against school rules." -he said as Yuusuke was about to leave the classroom door
Yuusuke just glared at him. As if he was saying he doesn't care about school rules. Mari hit his head.
Yuusuke: "Ouch! What was that for?"
Mari: "You should follow school rules. And he's the Kaichou, dummy." -she seriously looked at him
Yuki: "Hey quit the chitchat and eat lunch. I can't finish the attendance since all of you are noisy." -I chuckled as they left me
They've become really close. I'm happy to see that, brotherly love~
••• Normal P.O.V •••
Natsume: "Where's Mari? She said she gonna help me rate the games we had created..." -he entered the living room and saw his brothers there
Kaname: "Well we haven't saw her since...... Since when have I properly see Mari-chan's face!?" -he panicked
Azusa: "We see her every dinner, have you forgotten Kaname-nii?"
Subaru: "But we haven't been with her properly this past few weeks..."
Ukyo: "To be honest, she wasn't taking breakfast nowadays."
Iori: "She's been like that. Leaving early than her usual schedule... As if.."
Hikaru: "She's been seeing someone." -he peeked from his newspaper
Louis: "She's out. She went to see a movie with a friend." -he continued grooming his hair
Hikaru: "Ohhhh with whom?" -he teased as he continued teasing everqyonq
Tsubaki: "Have you noticed our Mari-chan becoming so busy these days?" -he whined
Iori: "She's in highschool. We are busy all time."
Wataru: "Tsubaki-nii is so old that he forgot the feeling of being a highschool." -he laughed
Tsubaki: "Hey elementary kid, I'm not that old."
Masaomi: "Don't be like that to Wataru." -he said as Wataru hid behind him
Fuuto: "Wait... Was it the guy we saw dropping her off?"
Kaname: "Who is he anyway? What's his deal with Mari?"
Subaru: "Maybe a friend or something.."
Fuuto: "Hey Baka-niisan, you're the only person who's got the quality time with Mari here...."
Tsubaki: "Yeah maybe you know something that we don't knowwwww!"
Hikaru: "He's been surprisingly quiet all this time." -he smirked
Yuusuke: "Stop that... I-I don't know."
He was thinking that maybe it's the best for them to just forget about the "Mari thing"... That it would be nice to just have someone steal Mari away from them.... So he was planning to keep it all by himself; about the goukon, Ryouma and everything else.
But he cannot do that. Letting someone get Mari away from him.. from them. He just loves Mari, definitely.
Yuusuke: "The guy was from the goukon.... And he's our Student Council President. I caught a glimpse of his face when he dropped Mari here last time."
All of them were shocked and looked at Yuusuke. Even Ukyo who just got out of the kitchen almost dropped the plates he was holding. The brothers reacted to it which interrupted the talk.
Iori: "UKYO-NII BE CAREFUL WITH THE PLATES!" -he said as he immediately assisted Ukyo
Ukyo: "I'm sorry for interrupting, continue with what you're saying Yuu."
Masaomi: "Are you sure about that? When did it happened?"
Yuusuke nodded and told them that it was a few weeks ago.
Tsubaki: "WHY HAVEN'T YOU TOLD US A DAMN THING ABOUT IT?! WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED THERE... WHAT IF THEY TOUCHE---"
Azusa: "Stop your weird thoughts, Tsubaki." -he punched Tsubaki in the head
Yuusuke: "I was planning to! But it's just I can't have the right time to tell you guys. And besides, I wasn't sure at first. Mari flatly rejected the goukon but I think Yuki and the others tricked her to go there without her knowing."
Masaomi: "Then are you certain she went at the goukon that?"
Yuusuke: "I heard her friends talking that they wouldn't allow Mari not to attend the goukon.... And that they'd do any means in order to do that?"
Kaname: "What kind of evil friends would do that?!"
Hikaru: "Uhhh, they wanted Mari to have a wonderful and proper love life?" -he sarcastically looked at him
Tsubaki & Kaname: "WE ARE TOTALLY DISAGREEING WITH THIS RIGHT?!" -they did a high five
Wataru: "Now what do we do?" -he whined
Hikaru: "Let's wait for these things to get heated up!" -he demonically laughed
••• TIME-SKIP ••• Ryouma's P.O.V •••
(Yume Street)
We were walking to the bus stop. Mari insisted she would see me off and that she didn't want me to take her home since her house is near this place. We watched a movie she wanted to see, I asked her to watch it with me. But its not a date.... for her part.
Ryouma: "It's kinda funny whenever I recall our first meeting." -I laughed as I blurted it out of the blue
Mari: "Yeah, I called you some megane guy. And you even called me Chii-chan!" -she laughed too
Ryouma: "I wanted to ask you this but why did you even bought a cook book? Do you think about getting married or what?" -he joked
Mari: "Well I was planning to cook food for my brothers that day. I wanted to surprise them."
Ryouma: "Oh before I ummm could.... Forget about it.... Who was the.... One who called you..... Chii-chan." -he asked shyly
Mari: "He is my brother! He's Louis."
Ryouma: "Brother? He is so beautiful... And handsome." -I awkwardly laughed
I actually thought HE was a GIRL.
Mari: "Uh-huh, and I have other 12 brothers who're as handsome as him!"
What she's living with boys who are that handsome?! I only knew she has a lot of stepbrothers. Its just that, I'm just a little jealous....
Mari: "They're really loving and caring. They treat so nicely and I am so happy to belong in that family." -she smiled
I patted her head as I tried to mess her hair. She complained that I should not make a mess of her hair.
Ryouma: "I'm happy you cut it short.... It means..."
Mari: "It's all because of Akira-san and of course my brothers."
Ryouma: "Its nice to know you have a wonderful family, Mari-kun."
Mari: "Haru---Ryouma, do you still love anime?"
Ryouma: "Of course I do! IT IS MY LIFE. WHAT I AM TODAY, ITS ALL BECAUSE OF ANIME." -I reacted in a weird way
She laughed.
Mari: "Then want to come visit our house? I'd like you to meet some interesting people that might have your interest."
Ryouma: "If its okay with you...." -I said shyly
We eventually reached the bus station.
Ryouma: "Are you sure you don't want me to take you home? I'm quite worried since you're not that good on directions and its a bit late now. Your brothers might get mad at you I could help you expl-----
Mari: "My house is quite near this place. It's just 8:17pm and my brothers would understand it. So don't worry, besides I already memorized this place... Somehow." -she giggled
The bus opened it's door. I went inside and took a sit near the window to see Mari. See waved her hands and I also did.
Ryouma: "Text me when you get home!" -I said as I signaled her what I was saying
Mari: "Aye aye Sir!" -she saluted
We both laughed. The bus eventually left the bus station and I saw Mari walking away to the waiting shed.
Ryouma: "Come on. Why would I be jealous with her brothers?" -I whispered to myself as I laugh
••• Normal P.O.V •••
They were having dinner and heer brothers were all present so she grabbed to chance to tell them about her friend visiting here.
Mari: "Ummmm there's something I want to tell you all.."
Everyone looked at her seriously. They stopped what they were doing.
Mari: "There's a friend who's very special to me and I want you all to meet him."
Him. Him. Him. Him!
It resonated through the minds of the Asahina brothers. They wanted to react but Mari told them HE was a special friend.
Special. Special. Special. Special?
Hikaru: "Sure thing. We'd love to meet that friend of yours. I'm sure it's gonna be interesting." -he smirked
Mari: "I'm glad to hear that! But when are you all available?"
Kaname: "Damn Hikaru.." -he whispered
The brothers cannot answer her. They felt rivalry and jealousy within them that if they tried opening their mouths, they might tell their true feelings for her. And it was a bad thing.
Louis: "Then this Saturday's a good day? All of us are free this coming Saturday." -he smiled
Mari: "I'll tell him that! Thank you everyone."
Tsubaki: "Why are we letting that guy enter our sacred lair with Mari?" -he whispered to Azusa
Azusa: "I don't really like this idea...." -he agreed for the first time
Hikaru: "So why're you so eager to introduce him to us? Your boyfriend?" -he teased
Mari blushed a lot. The brothers are now killing Hikaru inside their minds, burning him into hellish fire and swearing and cursing at him.
Hikaru: "I can hear you guys. And your eyes are like daggers, it's funny." -he laughed
They knew he was enjoying it. Mari didn't understood any thing about it so she looked at them, giggling a little.
Mari: "I want you guys to meet him no because he is my boyfriend or the person I am interested to.... It's because he is important and so all of you." -she smiled as she blurted it
All of the brothers blushed except for Hikaru and Louis who just smiled sweetly at her.
Masaomi: "I guess we should continue eating dinner." -he smiled
Everyone continued eating and their dinner was a loud and complete that night.
••• TIME-SKIP ••• Ryouma's P.O.V •••
I was waiting outside the front gates of Sunrise Residence. Mari came rushing to me as she opened the gates.
Mari: "Sorry for waiting. Let's go inside."
We entered the Sunrise Residence and I put my shoes on the shoe racks.
Ryouma: "I brought a lot of presents haven't I?" -I worriedly asked
She giggled.
Mari: "Don't worry. I'm sure that you and my brothers would definitely get along!" -I told him
