Ali's pov
"Lily, Grace. Do you remember when we told you that you were going to have a little brother and then sadly our letter to the storks got lost?"
"Yes" Grace says as her eyes fall to the floor
"Well" Em pauses, grabbing onto my hand "we wrote them another letter and they got it"
"Are we having a little brother again?" Lily jumps off the sofa with excitement
"You might have a little brother, or you might have a little sister. This time we don't know" I smile
"I can't fucking wait" Lily screams as she and Grace begin to dance with joy
"Lily! Language!" Emily screams, trying to hide her laughter
"Lily Pam DiLaurentis-Fields, what have we told you about your language?" I strictly ask
"I'm sorry Mommies. I meant to say that I really can't wait" Lily says as Grace giggles behind her
"I'm glad that you are both excited" I blush
Emily's pov
"I'm so nervous"
"Why?" Alison laughs, spinning her car keys around her finger
"I just don't know what she'll say. She'll probably be pissed that we went through ivf for months and never told her until now"
"I'm more nervous that she finds out Lily has a mouth like a sailor. I mean where does she get it from? We never swear in front of the girls, and Grace never swears, so why does Lil?"
"I have no clue where she gets it from and I know it's bad but I do find it hilarious. She's so small and innocent, it's funny when she curses. Anyway that's not the point, what will we do if my mom is angry?"
"Em, your mom will be fine. She'll be absolutely delighted. Now come on let's go tell her the news" Ali smiles, lightly pulling the back of my hand up to her face before kissing it; as if in a Disney movie
Alison knocks on the door and I hear my mom shuffle towards the door
"What are you girls doing here? Come in"
"We have some exciting news Pam" Alison smiles as she greets my mom with a hug
"Oh, come sit down and you can tell me" My mom smiles, quickly clapping her hands with excitement before hopping to the living room
My mom sits on the armchair and Ali and I sit on the sofa opposite her. Alison lays her hand over my shaking hand and slowly twists my wedding ring around with her index finger and thumb, I rest my other hand on the inside of her thigh and my mom sweetly smiles at us.
"Well, what is it?"
Ali and I both look towards each other while blushing. Alison nods her head at me, telling me to announce our pregnancy to my mom
"We are having a baby" I smile, looking towards my mom
My mom's face lights up and she stands up to pull us both into a tight hug
"Boy or girl?" She asks, sitting back down
"We don't know" Ali smirks
"Oh, are you seeing the children before so you can choose who you adopt?"
"No" I smile at Alison
"Pam, we don't know the baby's sex because we aren't adopting. We are having our own baby"
My mom's eyebrows lower as her eyes shoot towards our flat stomachs
"What do you mean?"
"We used ivf. We got a sperm donor, both our eggs and a surrogate" Alison explains
"Oh my goodness. I can't wait to be a Nana again. Congratulations girls" My mom says, hugging us again
"How far is the..."
"Thirteen weeks" I interrupt her
"Are you going to find out the sex?" My mom excitedly asks
"Yes" "No" Ali and I disagree in unison
"What do you mean no? Don't we want to know so that we can buy clothes and redecorate the nursery if we have to?" Alison asks me
"Yeah but I would love a surprise"
"Pam what do you think?"
"Well it is your decision but I found out with Emmy"
"See. Emily please"
"We'll discuss this later Ali" I whisper to her
"Okay" Say says, raising her eyebrows with frustration
"Anyway we need to go now Mom, because we've got more people to tell" I excitedly smirk
"Congratulations again girls. I'm so happy for you. I can't wait to have another grandchild" my mom smiles, pulling us into another hug
"See I told you she would be delighted" Alison tells me as she starts the car
"However, things will be different soon. I'm actually shitting myself about telling my dad"
"Alison, your dad might not like me but he loves you, Lily and Grace"
"No he doesn't. He's a homophobic fuck. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't even tell him about the baby"
"He is your dad Alison. We have to tell him"
"I know. It's just every time I see him" Alison grinds her teeth and squeezes her eyes tightly shut, trying to conceal her anger "I just dislike him" she continues
Ali's pov
"I honestly don't know the last time we saw my dad, why are we even telling him?"
"Come on" Emily adorably smiles as she flings the car door open, not giving me the option to back out of telling him
Emily walks around the front of the car and opens my door, helping me out of our jeep. She wraps her arm around my waist as we stroll up the path towards my dad's house.
"Hello Alison, great to see you" My dad smiles as he answers the door
"What are you doing here?" He snarkily asks, turning his nose up at Emily's presence
"Hello Kenneth" Em replies with a soft smile
My dad rolls his eyes at Emily before turning to me. His ignorance towards my wife infuriates me
"Don't speak to her like that?"
"Why not? She's not my family, she's just like a bad smell"
"Listen you stupid fuck, Emily convinced me to come here and tell you the exciting news about our life, but I'm not even going to bother telling you because you don't deserve to know" I shout storming off
As I storm off I attempt to grab Emily's hand however, she pulls her arm behind her back and watches as I run away in a huff
"We are have gone through ivf and are thirteen weeks into the pregnancy. So soon you will be a grandfather again" I hear my angle politely tell my dad
Emily's pov
"Alison I know things didn't go the way you hoped with your dad, but I promise at some point you will both be grateful that I told him about our baby" I quietly tell Alison as I push her long blonde hair behind her ear
"I know, thank you for telling him. I just hate the way he speaks to you" Alison says as her eyes sparkle in the darkness
"Alison it's my fault he hates me. I am trying my best to win his approval" I smile while pushing my hand under my pillow, to elevate my head
"You don't have to win his approval. Emily I would do anything for you and I know you don't want me to, but if I had to pick between you or my dad...I would pick you every time" Alison whispers as she runs her hand down my arm and begins to fidget with my hand
I smirk before looking down to my hand which Alison is playing with
"Excuse me Mrs. DiLaurentis, my face is up here" she giggles
"I was...I wasn't looking at your...b"
Alison cuts my sentence off with a kiss
"If you weren't looking before you definitely are now" she pauses, lifting up my head to revert my eyes off her breasts "I mean if i've ever seen someone drooling, it's you right now" She laughs while tiredly yawning
"You're just so gorgeous, every little piece of you is equally beautiful" I smile, running my hand through her hair
"Well that's a lie" Alison tells me as she rolls over refusing my compliment, however I can tell that she loves my continual reminder of just how beautiful she is
