Strong
Fragile
Her curls bounce as she twirls
Dancing for you
Is her joy and her life
Hearing you sing
Makes her dance and rejoice

Is music to her ears
You applaud her
Love her
And call to her
But you toy with her
And as she dances
As she believes she is your angel
She is pulled apart
Broken down and thrown
She calls to you
Crying and screaming
All she can ask is
"Why? What did I do wrong?"
She is eager
To dance for you again
To prove her perfection
Begging for another chance
She is raised again
And dances again
Once more
She wonders what went wrong
For she is naive
She is blind
She does not see

Which crushes her to dust

That pull her apart

That raise her again
Nor the smile on your face
