chapter 41

since the tracker changed his course Edward is coming here and Bella, Alice,Jasper and I are meeting him at the airport. However Bella has come up with a plan to escape during this time. so we head to the restrooms and jasper follows us. "do you mind?" Bella asks jasper. "i'll just be a moment." Then we both go in and and exit through a back door in the bathroom. As soon as we are back outside we run. We run all the way to a shuttle going to Hyatt. When we board the shuttle i see Bella looking like shes about to cry. i squeeze her hand and say. "Its gonna be okay bells i'll protect you." she only nods her head. Suddenly Bella looks out the window and runs out of the shuttle but i follow closely behind her. Turns out she saw a cab free and as we both get in the surprised cab owner complains about how far the drive is. Bella throws a stack of twenties over the seat and the driver stops his complaining then we are off on our way to what will most likely be our death. we finally arrive at Renee's house. When we get inside of the house Bella calls James and puts it on speaker"Hello Bella, Sophie. that was very quick. I'm impressed." Bella asks the voice which belongs to James. "Is mom alright?" James answers her. "she's perfectly fine. Don't worry Bella, i have no quarrel with her. unless you two didn't come alone." he says and a chill runs up my back. "we are alone." Bella states. "very good, now do you know the ballet studio just around the corner from your home?"  James asks. "yes we know how to get there." Bella answers. "well then, i will see you both very soon." then he hangs up and we race to the ballet studio. When we get to the studio i tell Bella. "i will go in first." she nods her head and i enter the building. Inside it is dark and empty. Then we hear Renee's frantic voice calling out Bella's name. "Bella you scared me, don't ever do that again." This makes me realize that i was tight everything was a trap that's Renee's voice but its clearly only a tape of it. "shit." i curse. then i look to Bella who is staring at a TV screen and on the screen is her mother. the TV goes blue which means the tape ended. "sorry about that Bella, but isn't it better that your mother didn't have to be involved in  this." James asks in an almost nice way. "yes." Bella says answering his question. "you don't sound angry that I tricked you." James states.  "i'm not." Bella says.  "how odd you really mean it." then James addresses me. "Ah Sophie swan, its a pleasure to see you again. you must be so happy that the mental hospital was set on fire." i stare at him my mouth hanging open. "How?" i ask and he answers. "don't you remember Sophie i was your doctor." i gasp and start to shake in fear. the mans face had always been blurry but now i can see it clear as day. James was my doctor in that mental hospital and he knew exactly who i was he knew everything about me. In an instant James is in front of me saying. "now i can do what i wanted to do all those years ago. James bites my neck and then picks me up and throws me against a mirror. Glass shatters all around me and i'm left dizzy and disoriented. i hear one thing though Bella's screams. The venom James injected into me is spreading like a wildfire throughout my body. i scream in pain because it burns. Then i see a face above mine its Carlisle hes here. I tell him with fear lacing my every word. "its too late Carlisle save Bella." he says something i cant hear because my eyes are already closing. Even though i closed my eyes the pain didn't stop it just kept burning. I don't know how long the pain lasted but when it finally subsided i felt relief.  Then i heard a voice it sounded strange. "wake up Sophie please i need you." it was Carlisle my soulmate. after listening to him speak for a while he left because i no longer felt his presence. Then as if on cue i opened my eyes.
