He was staring at him. He could feel it. He could feel it deep within his core.
Nyx was at his girl besties birthday party. And he was extremely uncomfortable.
Why? Because he was being stared at constantly.
How did he know? Because he caught him looking. Him? Yes, him.
The college hunk, the Greek God...like literally from Greece...Damen. Which obviously meant divine power.
Humph...not that Nyx researched about him and stalked him...maybe.
So he's been staring since Nyx arrived. His bestie had long left him to fend for himself.
Nyx's pov.
Oh God. He's been staring at me for an hour now. Why?
Does he know me? I don't know. I certainly know him. I'm scared. Is he planning something?

I startled.
Bran, the college jerk, was at it again. Him and his gang members have picked on me even before I came out as gay. This was like an extra fuel for them.

I looked back up, sore from the punch,and say stupid things that a person with a brain certainly doesn't.
''Im not sure if fags like me deserve a fate as ugly as your breakfast.''
That sealed my fate. The gang members hold me down and drag me outside, out of sight into the jungle that was behind the house.
Once into the clearing in the centre of the woods, they throw me down like a piece of used rag. I cough and push myself into sitting position so I could see my death in the face.
See, I am one sassy assed gay that people would call a drag queen. I didn't give a shit as to what comes out my mouth. And the only reason I get on Bran's bad books. Well, he is a sore loser and I can't help but rub it in.
''So fag, any last words before we fuck the fuck out of you?'' Bran walks in a circle and comes to a stand still in front of my face.
My common sense said if you wanna live, don't say a word.
Unfortunately, my common sense didn't speak loud enough for me to hear...the coward.
'' I hope you're not as disappointing as the girls say.'' I think my smirk was the one that pissed him off the most...but who knows.
Just as he was about to kick me, a blurry figure slammed into him and they tumbled backwards into the jungle.
Out of sight, nothing could be predicted. I couldn't even hear a thing. Bran's hang members look at each other and then turn to look at me.
Then they run like fuck was heading straight to fuck then up.
There was silence. Then the leaves cracked like someone was walking on it.
Someone walked out in the clearing...the moon lighting the face of...Damen.
Well fuck me sideways.
I beg of you.
His face was beautiful. It spoke of royalty and regal heritage. His dark, slightly ruffled and shining hair spoke of sexiness that shouldn't exist. He had the darkest shade of black eyes that were on the verge of being either deep purple or anything within that range.
His blood red lips...Oh those lips...That body that was made to torture peasants like me...in my wet dreams.
But something else was red too.
His hands.
Why were they red?
My eyes widen as they meet the dark orbs.
He comes closer.
I start to shiver.
He comes even closer.
Just as I'm about to bolt ..of course struggling to stand first...He speaks.
''Stay.''
A simple command and I'm weak in the knees.
''Why?''
''Don't you want an explanation ?'
I look at him.
''Do you want to?''
''You need to know.''
That got me thinking. Ok things just don't get weird like this.
''Huh...?''
Then I blacked out.

I wake up in a cozy bed that most certainly does not belong to me. It smelled good too.
''And you live.''
I turn to find Damen looking at me from a chair in the corner.
The window's showed it was deep into the night.
''What happened? How long was I out?''
He stood up and walked towards the bed. He sat down facing me and damn close...too close.
I gulp.
'I'm gonna try and keep this simple...but it depends on how you take it.''
''What is it?'' He took a deep breath.
'' I killed Bran for a reason.''
Silence.
''You...killed...'' my eyes widen.
''Hear me out first, Nyx. Bran was not human and he wasn't going to let you live.''
That statement would have given me an aneurysm if my brain wasn't so fucked up already.
''So if he wasn't human...what was he? And how did you kill him? And why would he not let me live? And-" he cut me off.
''Calm down!!" He put his hands on my shoulders and I thought I died.
"We are humans...but with modifications..like we got power over things-"
"Superpowers!!!!" I squealed.
"No! No, just...Huh," he sighed." Just power over some things. We are born with it and so was Bran."
"Bran had power over mind. But he tended to use it in the wrong way. It was only a matter of time before he went overboard with his evilness."
I took some time trying to process it. Then it kinda fell into place. The way people acted around Bran...it made sense. But then..Why was I an exception?
"How does this lead to me?"I ask him.
He looked at me.
"I lead to you Nyx."
The next sentence confirmed I was dead and in heaven with my long time crush and everything is gonna be fine.
"You are my soulmate"

3 hours later
"So wait...you have the power of nature's wrath and you're supposed to be the leader of your clan in two weeks. This guy come out of nowhere and tries to blackmail you into giving up that position through me, who turns out to be your soulmate."
It took me that long to understand the whole situation.
"Yes, that's exactly the story," he murmurs.
"So what now?"
"I don't know...I'll fuck you now."
Huh....did he ...did he just...that too so casually...
"Wh....what did. .."
"That is exactly what I said," he came at me like a hungry animal.
He stalked me like i was his next prey...crawling with predatory moves. He looked over me as I pressed againgst the headboard staring open mouthed at him.
Clearly...none of my wet dreams had prepared me for this. I didn't know how to react when finally I was getting what I could only dream of.
"I hope you're ready for this."
His voice have me shivers down my spine...the good kind. I felt myself harden.
His face came closer every second. I closed my eyes in anticipation...unable to believe that this was actually happening.
His lips felt cool and soft, and they moved with certain grace, taking me, marking me, owning me.
He kissed me with passion, switching from tender kisses to rough, dominating ones. And I loved every second of it.
I realised, I was in love. I'm love with him.
"I know. And I love you too." Damen whispered in my ear.
I said it out loud and didn't even realize it.
I moaned as he bit my earlobe. I couldn't wait to be taken. Taken by him.
