Today is the day.
Friday.
The date with Connor.
I had asked him what should I wear and he said something casual. Of course I had to get his number because that would be kind of weird if I didn't.

I was putting on my shoes when Belle walked in. She looked at me and start smiling.
" What?"
" You look good honey."
I laughed, " Thanks."
" Do you you know where he is taking you?"
I shook my head, " No I don't but it's going to be fun."
She nodded and was going to say something but my phone went off.
Bad boy- Hope you have fun babysitting princess it isn't that bad😂
Oh wow I totally forgot that I lied to Hunter.
I feel like the biggest jerk in the world. I should come clean and just tell him.
Me- Hey bad boy there is something I need to tell you.
I put my phone down, too scared to answer to his reply.
" What's wrong?"
I forgot Belle was here still.
" I told Hunter I was babysitting but I'm actually going out with Connor."?
She shook her head, " Lily! Why would you lie to him?"
I shrugged, " I don't know , I really don't know."
I didn't want to tell her the incident that happened the other day but it would make sense so I told her.
" Lilyanna are you blind?"
" What?"
" The muchacho clearly likes you!"
I started laughing, she is more crazier then I thought.
" Hunter? Hunter likes me? Okay Belle that was a good one."
She slapped the back of my head, " Hey!"
" Just stop being stubborn and admit it."
And with that she walked out.
He can't like me, No he doesn't .
Hunter and I are just friends.
I picked up my phone and texted him back. It shouldn't be a problem since we are friends.
Bad boy- What?
I took a huge breath and start typing.
Me- I lied. I don't have to babysit but I have a date. I don't know why I lied but just thought I should tell you.
I waited and waited and then my phone finally went off.
Bad boy- Okay.
He said okay that's good.
Connor- I'm here.

I walked downstairs and saw Connor laughing with Nick.
" Hey guys."
They turned their attention towards me and Connor eyes widen.
" Wow you look beautiful."
Don't blush! Lily don't blush!
" Thank you, you don't look to bad yourself."

Nick face became serious, "Now Connor you are my friend but if you hurt her you better run to Jesus because your going to need him."
Connor nodded quickly, " Never my intention."
I smiled, how cute is he?
" Okay, now go have fun kids and have her back at a decent hour."
Connor opened the door and I walked out first, " Yes Sir."
Connor closed the door and chuckled, " Ready for the best night of your life?"
I nodded, " Lead the way."

We pulled up to a place where lights were shining and you hear people yelling.
I looked a little closer, " You brought me to the Carnival?!"
He rubbed the back of his neck, " Do you like it, I mean we can go somewhere else if you want."
I put my hand on his arm, " I love it now let's go have some fun."
He chuckled and got out the car to open the door for me.
" Thank you very much."
He brought my hand up to kiss it, " It's my pleasure madam."
I laughed and grabbed his hand and walked towards the Carnival.
Time to be a kid!

( Hunters POV)
"A date!"
"A fucking date! Are you kidding me?!"
"Why would she lie to me in the first place?"
Christian sighed, " Well look how your acting."
" Shut up."
As soon as she said she had a date, I immediately called Christian over. I don't know why I called him but he knew the situation so it was easier to talk to him about it.
I was about to speak when I heard a knock on my door, " Come in."
" Hey baby, is everything okay?"
It was my mom. I guessed I never really talked about my mom. Nothing is wrong with her, she is actually the sweetest person I knew.
We don't have a huge house like Christian but it was pretty middle class type of level. When my dad died we sold our house and moved into something a little smaller.
My mom owns her own salon and it gets pretty busy in there. My mom is pretty small but don't let her size fool you, she can be a mean little lady.
" Sorry Ma, Christian was just getting on my nerves again."
She chuckled, " Hello Christian."
He stood up and hugged her tiny body, " Hey Aunt Megan, how is it going?"
" Pretty good, I made cookies if you want any."
He ran out of the room, " I don't understand how that boy hasn't gone into a food coma, all he does is eat."
I laughed, " I have no idea."
" Hey Hunter?"
" Yea."
She smirked, " Who's the girl?"
How did she know?
" I don't know what your talking about."
She shook her head, " Oh sweetie I know when a guy get works up like that it has to deal with a girl and I kind of heard you yelling."
" Mom! You were listening?"
She chuckled, " No you were just loud enough for me to hear you."
" She is just a friend, I just got a little mad because she lied to me and said she was babysitting but is actually on a date."
" You want her, don't be afraid and go get her. Don't take forever because you will regret it at the end."
" Thanks Mom."
I stood up and hugged her, " No problem baby."
" Aunt M, you might need to make more cookies."
My mom laughed, " Already got it covered, there is more in the oven. BUT you can't eat them."
Christian groaned, " Whyyy I love youuu."
My mom chuckled and walked out of my room, " I love you too but no cookies for you!"
" Dammit."

( Lily POV)
" Connor it's okay, we can win something else.
He cracked his knuckles, " No it's okay, you want the polar bear you are going to get the polar bear."
The guy behind the booth rolled his eyes and instead of moving the board like he usually does when Connor attempts to shoot the basketball, he held it still.
Connor shot the ball and it went in, " Yes! I got it."
I clapped, " Yay good job."
The guy behind the booth grabbed the balls, " Which one do you want?"
" The polar bear."
" Ready to eat my beautiful date?"
" Yes please."
