Bella's Pov:
I wake up and realize that I was still sitting on the my bathroom floor.
I get up trying to brush my teeth but it hurt because I would move my cheek.
I can't imagine what it'd feel like trying to apply makeup on it.
I decided against wearing any foundation and just doing my eyebrows and mascara.
I changed into my nude dress leaving my hair down so I could cover the bruise with my hair at least. It looked extremely gross.
I got into my car heading off to work.
I go straight to the coffee place trying to get the coffee as soon as possible.
"Hey beautiful." I hear Kian say startling me.
"Hey Kian." I say trying to sound as normal as ever.
"Try not to mess up his coffee this time. Wouldn't want him getting mad again! I have to go tho!" He says walking away.
I finish up the coffee and head upstairs.
I knock on his door.
"Come in." He says and I walk in handing him his coffee.
"You don't have to knock every time you come in you know? You can just come in." He says and I nod my head slightly. Not trying to show the bruise.
"Miss. Whitte, you may start your work." he says and I nod.
After a couple of hours he speaks up.
"Miss. Whitte May you please go out and buy me a pizza?" He asks.
"Yes sir." I tell him.
"Here's the money, I don't want just a slice I want the whole box if you will." He says and I nod. Someone's hungry.
He hands me the money and I scurry off so he won't see my bruise.
I leave the building going to the nearest pizza place. I totally forgot to ask him what pizza place and what kind of toppings.
Imma just go with a pepperoni pizza. Who doesn't love a pepperoni pizza?
I order the pizza getting a couple of startes from the workers and I quickly remember my bruise. I look down until my name is called and I leave the place.
I head back to work.
"Here you go, I didn't know what you'd like so I got pepperoni, from slice factory." I say handing him his pizza and his receipt alone with the extra cash.
"Thank you." He says. First time he says thank you.
As I begin walking to my desks he stops me.
"Eat with me Bella." He says.
"It's okay sir I'd rather finish my work." I reply.
"It wasn't a question. You didn't have lunch yesterday, I want you to have lunch today." He says and I nod.
I make my way over to the table he has in his huge office. He sits across from my handing me a plate and a bottle of water.
I thank him. He grabs a slice telling me to grab one as well.
It was very quiet while eating and I never really expected him to eat with me.
Of course he didn't talk but that's okay.
"Where are you from?" He finally speaks.
"Cali." I reply only to see a shocked look on his face.
"What are you doing all the way here in Florida?" He asks.
Running away.
"Trying to find new places I guess." I reply to which he nods.
"Where are you from?" I ask.
"Here, I've been here my whole life." He says.
"Since when have you been in his business?" I ask.
"I was trained at around 8 because my dad always wanted me to be ready to take on." He said.
I looked at his with disbelief.
"You're kidding. 8?" I ask.
He has a confused look on his face, which soon turns into a concerned look.
Fuck. The bruise. I instantly look down.
"Bella?" He ask.
"Yes sir?" I reply scared.
"Who did that to you?" He asks.
"N-no one! I- I... I fell!!" Fuck i suck at lying.
He wipes his hands getting out of his chair.
He approaches me and I don't have the courage to look at him.
"Look at me Bella." He says in his demanding tone once again.
"Sir, I have to get back to work." I stammer trying to get up my chair which he doesn't permit.
He turns my chair so it's facing him and puts on finger on my chin making me look at him.
His eyes scan my whole face, we were extremely close.
This gave me a chance to examine his perfectly built face. He looked like a god himself.
"Who did this Bella?" He asks once more. I love how my name rolled out of his mouth. It sounded beautifully.
"Answer me goddamnit!" He screams slamming his hands on the side of the chair startling me. I couldn't help but shake uncontrollably.
"Fuck, I didn't mean to scare you." He says running a hand throughout his hair.
I push him away a bit wanting nothing but to get back to work.
But he had other plans.
He turned me around engulfing me in a huge hug.
His hands rested on my lower back and mine were around his neck.
This didn't seem like any other Hug. He hugged me tightly almost like he was afraid of letting go.
I would be lying if I said t didn't calm me down.
"Sir I need to get back to work." I quietly say. As much as I love his hugs I can't get backtracked on work.
He reluctantly lets go going back to his mean self.
"I want those papers done by 10." He says.
It was 7. 3 hours to finish a whole stack!? Oh no.
He's very, bipolar. And it's quiet annoying.
"Take the day off tomorrow, I don't want no one seeing my employee like that." He says.
If I miss a day then Sam will be with me all day. I can't let that happen. I don't know what he's capable of.
"No! That's not necessary." I quickly reply.
He looks up skeptically but nods his head nonetheless.
I do end up finishing at ten surprisingly and gather my things so I could leave.
But there's a knock on the door.
I head over to the door opening it and am quickly pushed it of the way by a a brown eyed boy.
"Holy shit are you okay?" He quickly asks lending me a hand to get up.
I nod my head.
"Fuck, what happened to your face?" He asks with his eyes wandering all around my face.
"Cameron let her go, what do you need?" He asks with a look of anger?
I get my stuff and quickly rush out of the building driving home.
Once I get home I see don't see him at all. And that's how the rest of the week went by.
