September, Evelyn POV:
"Evelyn! Breakfast!" I heard my mom calling me as I fixed my hair while giving Shell a lettuce.
A month passed after we defeated Pennywise
"Coming mom!" I yelled back and kissed Shell on the nose
"See ya after school buddy!" I said and took my backpack, running down while taking my roller skates.
I sat next to the table, watching the tv while started to tie up the roller blades.
"Nice blades Evelyn, You finally got them" Mom said, noticing the blades as she came up with breakfast and put the plate next to me
"Thanks mom" I said with a smile and kept tying them as mom gave me a kiss on the cheek and sat next to me, listening to the news as well, Who was in the middle of a great scoop
"-Oscar Bowers was found dead on his couch in his home, by a stab in the neck, Police suspect the son, Henry Bowers, Who had dissapeared" I looked up in surprise as a man whispered something to the reporter's ear
"We just got a new information, We'll now hear what our field reporter: Karla Spark, can tell us" The reporter said
"Thanks Roger, An information that came to us now, Police had found a car next to the well house on Neilbot street, two bodies were found in there, dead from open throats, Police found Henry Bowers in the house, covered in blood" I looked at the scene that's happening behind the reporter, Henry was fighting two cops, Who were dragging him into a hospital car
"He's alive..." I murmured
"I always knew this kid will have so much problems, Ever since what happened to the Hanlons" I looked up at mom as she turned off the tv.
"You knew the Hanlons?" I asked her
"Of course, Will Hanlon was your dad's partner, Didn't you know?" She asked me, Mike's dad was a police officer?
Mom took out a box and handed me a picture of 2 men, 2 women and 2 little kids, I immediately recognized the kids: It's Mike and I
"This is Will Hanlon and his wife Jessica, You and their little kid; Mike were best friends" She told me, I clunthced the photo
"I know Mike" I told her
"You know what? You can give it to Mike and how about you'll invite him and you friends to dinner with us?" She asked me
"Really?! Thanks Mom!" I squealed and hugged her
"Now hurry up, I don't want you to be late for first day of school" She said, I nodded and skated quickly
At school:
"Hey guys!" I called happily as I reached them next to the bicycles' parking
"Hey Evelyn!" Everybody called happily as I checked them: Stan's head was covered in some bandages, Eddie was cleaned from the puke and Bill was finally free from his stuttering
Everything is good.
I finally reached my locker and started to fight with it as usual, Finally I openned it
"OW!" A familier voice suddenly said
"Good to see you too Evelyn" The voice made me to almost jump
"MIKE!" I called happily and hugged him, He hugged me back and gave me a kiss
"What are you doing here?" I asked in confusion, yet happiness
"I convinced my uncle and grandfather to sign me into school" Mike said, I hugged him tightly
After school:
We sat in a circle: Beverly, Bill, Richie, Eddie, Mike, Me, Stan and Ben, We were listening and trying to understand what happened to Beverly when she was down there with Pennywise.
"I can't remember a lot, just parts... I saw us coming back... older, in our parents ages...." She started
"What were we doing?" Bill asked
"I just remember how we felt... we were so scared... I don't think I will ever be able to forget it..." Beverly said, I looked around, thinking if to tell them what my dad told me...
"I have something to say too" I said, Everyone looked up at me
Mike POV:
"They found Henry.... hurt badly... but alive" Evelyn said, I felt like I was going to faint...
"They threw him into an asylum..." She said, making me feel relief now.
"But my father told me... that he conffessed that HE kidnapped the kids... and he kept saying:
Pennywise lives, Pennywise lives..." I felt her shaking and we all looked at eachother
"Guys... If Beverly had a vision that we'll be back in our parents age... it's in 27 years from now..." She finished
What are we going to do?
Bill stood up, holding a glass
"Swear it... swear that if Pennywise isn't dead, we'll come back" Bill said, We all stood up.
Bill started to cut everone, He cut his first and then went to Richie
"Fu**" Richie sweared under his breath.
Next was Eddie, his watch beeped right after that.
Next was me, it hurt as lot and I held my hand, I felt a soft hand on my shoulder and I turned to see Evelyn, looking at me with a soft smile and all the pain was gone.
Bill went up to her and she gave him her hand, she clutched my shoulder a little but quickly stopped, I smiled at her softly
Bill went to Stan, Ben and Beverly and did the same, At the end, we all held hands in circle
Evelyn POV:
"I gotta go" Stan suddnely said after a few minutes
"I hate you" He said playfully, making all of us smile and laugh.
"Just for you to know, My mom invites all of you to dinner with us" I said with a smile.
"W-We'll be there" Bill said with a smile
After a while Eddie left, Then Mike and I decided to go.
"See you guys" Mike said while I hugged everyone, Last was Beverly, I stared into her eyes and felt some tears before I hugged her...
I guess I forgot to mention... Beverly is leaving to live with her aunt, after I told my dad what Mr. Marsh was doing to Beverly, They made contact with her aunt who was happy to take her in.
"You're gonna miss her..." Mike said, I didn't realize we were already walking in the meadow, We were far away from the guys but I was still staring far away, Mike was smiling at me, his hands in his pockets
"I'm gonna miss her too" He conffessed and took my hand into his, squeezing it.
We sat down under a tree, My head was on Mike's chest, listening to his heart's pace as he was patting my hair.
"Do you think we'll ever see Bowers again?" I asked
"I don't know..." He conffessed, I sighed.
"I think we got something to talk about" Mike suddenly said, I looked up at him
"On that day when... when we all fought... Evelyn, When I heard you screaming my name I thought I lost you, When we got out of that place, all I wanted to do was run away..." I looked down and then back at him
"But you... You didn't know what to answer, It killed me not to understand why do you even consider coming back after what happened..." He took my hand and slowly started to rub it.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is.... I'm really sorry for yelling at you... and I'm sorry that you had to see me killing that sheep... I was so down after I yelled at you that I didn't realized what I was doing..." He looked up at me...
"Will you forgive me?" He asked, I smiled and hugged him
"Always Mike" I whispered
"And one more thing" I remembered and pulled the picture out
"My mom gave me this and she thought you might want it" I told him, He held it in shock and stared at the picture and then at me, I chuckled
"I guess there IS one thing I never knew about Derry" I said, But he just put his hands on my shoulders and brought me in to a kiss.
What could go wrong?
