Years I've been waiting for this. To finally save my best friend from his toxic relationship. He's been with Rachel for 3 years and she's been treating him like shit. She cheats on him 24/7 and demands him to have sex with other girls otherwise she would dump him, but that is going to be over.
He's been staying with me for the past days, because he can't take it anymore. That bitch Rachel turned my best friend, Shawn into the wrong boy. Shawn used to be a kind, caring and very sweet. But she turned him into a boy who is a douchebag and an asshole.
I walked to my bedroom and saw Shawn sitting on my bed. His hands were in blood and he looked terrible.
'What happened, Shawn?'
I took a seat next to him and laid my head on his shoulder. His muscles tightened at my touch and then relaxed.
'I had to loose my anger. And don't worry, I didn't hit anyone.'
I got up and walked to my bathroom. I searched through all of stuff for the first aid kit. I turned around and saw that Shawn was standing against the doorframe watching every move I make.
'You don't need to help me, you know. I'm grateful that I can stay with you, but I think that I'm going back.'
I slowly walked to him. I seriously can't believe that he wants to go back.
'Are you serious?'
He nodded and looked down at our feet.
'You don't need to go back. She is treating you like crap. You aren't like that. You're better.'
I took his hand in mine and carefully wrapped it in a bandage.
'I know, but I don't know where I can stay or who will let me.'
'I will. You know that you're always welcome.'
'No. I've been an ass to you, so why would you let me stay?'
I laid my hand on his forearm.
'I always saw the good in you and I still do.'
He turned around and laid in my bed.
'I don't deserve you, y/n. You're so sweet and caring and then look at me.'
I laid next to him and wrapped my arms around him just like we used to.
'You are amazing, Shawn. The Shawn I know is amazing.'
He turned around, so he could look at me.
'Why did I do to become like this?'
'Rachel did that. Okay, you might loved her but she didn't, she really treated you wrong.'
'I know, but who can treat you better than?'
'I can,' i said.
'What?'
'I never thought I would say this, but I freaking love you Shawn. Even before you were with Rachel, and maybe if you give this a shot it will be better.'
'Why didn't you tell me?'
'I was afraid, you were getting popular and the pretty girls were around you all the time.'
He took my head in his hands and slowly whispered something.
'I always wanted to be with you. I was just afraid that you didn't like me that way.'
'You were wrong then.'
'Yeah.'
He leaned in and slowly pressed his lips onto mine.
'I love you, Shawn.'
'I love you too, y/n.'
