I was throwing all my clothes back into my suitcase when the bedroom door opened.
"I don't want to talk right now." I say not turning to see who it is.
"That's alright, I'll do the talking." It was April. I knew from the voice.
She sits on Madison's bed and I turn to her giving her a small smile.
"Sorry, I thought you were... well anyone else."
She smiles. "Don't worry about it."
I'm throwing in one of the last items when she causes me to freeze.
"Your pregnant, aren't you?"
I stay silent for a minute before I hardly whisper "Yeah." Back.
"You should tell everyone. Then they'll stop thinking your lying about other things."
"I doubt they'd even believe me if I told them right now." I sit on my bed facing April.
She gives me a pity smile. "Your friends love you, they just have no idea what's going on."
"I get it's hard to trust somebody after they lied before but I've tried to make it up to them so many times before and it always comes back to it." I tell April. "I'm honestly over it, it's not like they're perfect and they don't lie, but because I lied I'm the lowest of low."
"Give them a day to cool off and I'm sure they'll realise that they were being stupid."
"Even the father of this baby thinks I'm sleeping with my best friends boyfriend and his best friend. What kind of person am I If thats what people assume as soon as they don't know something?"
"Your not the problem Amelia. I promise you it's nothing to do with you."
I smile at her. "Thank you."
April stands up and makes her way to the door. "Your friends will get over it, but you need to tell Niall that he's having a baby."
I nod my head and April leaves the room.
I wasn't even zipping up my bag when the door opens again.
When I turn to see who it is, I was happy to see Madison and Jake.
"Where you going?" Madison asks, looking at my bag.
"Home." I answer.
"We're coming with you then." Jake says and I shake my head.
"No. You're staying here."
"Uh no we are coming with you." Madison says and I raise a brow challenging her.
"No, Jake you need to stay here and sort things out with Bethany and Madison you need to stay and let everyone know your back with Matt."
"I can do that over text." Madison reply's already packing her bag.
Jake chuckles. "I can't believe I didn't even cop onto your secret!" He says to Madison and then looks at me. "I'm coming too. Just give me a minute to get my bag."
Jake leaves the room and Madison continues to throw her clothes into her bag. When nothing else will fit in she throws the remainder on the bed and runs to the kitchen and back with a black bag.
I giggle. Only Madison would use a bin bag as a suitcase.
Jakes back at the same time Madison finished tying a knot in her black bag.
"Nice suitcase. Where'd you get it Louis Vuitton?" He jokes and Madison glares.
"Where'd you get yours, your grandmas attic?" She answers.
I laugh. These two are hilarious.
We all picked up our bags and walked to the living room where everyone else was.
April smiled at me. Niall didn't look bothered. Lauren looked pissed. Seth looked neutral. Bethany.... I thought was about to murder me. Matt was smiling at Madison.
Madison walked over to Matt and gave him a kiss before turning to everyone else and saying. "Me and Matt are back together so he's off limits."
They continued there goodbyes while Jake went to Bethany.
"I'm sorry I'm leaving like this, but I think you need time to sort your head out, wether you trust me or not, that's your decision." Bethany nodded her head but didn't say anything. She looked a little upset and I felt a bit bad but she'd brought it upon herself.
Since I had no one to say goodbye to I had brought the luggage out to the car by the time the other two got out.
We decided to take the long way home, which added a more scenic route. Although the fast way home was long enough, I thought it might clear my mind.
"I should've just told everyone I was pregnant. Saved the arguments." I say after awhile of silence. "I've probably ruined your relationship Jake, and your friendship Madison."
"She called me little virgin Madison! Believe me I'm thankful I'm not friends with her." Madison says.
"You haven't ruined my relationship either. Bethany should've had enough trust in me but she didn't and that's not your fault." Jake adds.
I smile. "April knows I'm pregnant. She's the only one who could put it together."
"You sure Niall has no clue?" Madison asks.
"He offered me beer and gave me permission to move on. I think he's clueless." I answer.
"What!? He gave you permission to move on, who does he think he is?" Madison says.
"What else did he say?" Jake asks.
"That I went to far moving on to you. Apparently the most believable explanation is I slept with you." I tell him.
"I mean you two would be a cute couple, I can see where they're worried." Madison comments and I look back at her. "Even better friends so they shouldn't be worried at all."
"What about you? How are you feeling?" I Ask Jake.
I mean he must be feeling something about the fact his girlfriend accused him of cheating.
"Ask me in a few days." Jake says and I nod my head.
We were anther hour into the drive before I started talking again.
"Don't you guys think eating disorder Amelia is getting a little old, I mean anything I do and everyone thinks I'm back to it." I complain.
"I haven't been here for most of it and I'm bored already." Madison says. "Actually I've been here for none of it and I could tell you the story of it."
"But people only think it because they want to make sure your okay." Jake adds and I roll my eyes.
"Your only saying that because you think it the whole time." I reply. "Which reminds me, why the hell didn't you tell me that I'm the reason you were in a car crash!?"
"Because I knew you'd freak out." He answers coolly.
"I would not freak out!" I almost shout, I clear my throat. "I just would blame myself for a bit before going totally off the tracks but then I'd go back to normal and you wouldn't have to lie."
Madison sits up in her seat. "Wait! Do you have an eating disorder?"
We all start laughing.
We found a motel a few hours later and decided we'd stay for the night. It was pretty stranded but it seemed popular enough because the car park was pretty full. Lucky for us it was still cheap though because we could all afford a room to ourselves.
We decided to go to the buffet they had for a couple of dollars and it was all you can eat so we were happy to be there.
We all got huge plates of food and wine glasses of orange juice.
"Cheers to being the worst three friends in our group." Madison says holding up her glass.
Me and Jake do the same and we all smile.
"Cheers!"
After dinner I decided to call it a night and go to my room where I finally let myself think.
Bethany thinks I'm sleeping with her boyfriend, Niall thinks I'm sleeping with him too and has no idea that I'm having his baby, and everyone else hates me.
And I thought things were bad before.
