up until the very day i did not want to believe that summer was already upon us.
all i have to do now is enjoy it.
spring is still next to me every step of the way,
her smile lighting every step of my path.
we spend our nights together huddled under the stars, whispering under our breaths in case someone was around to hear.
no one was around for miles.
not even fall had shown herself, her memory fading along with the bruises she left behind.
the weather was so warm.
i could get used to this.
