You walk through the halls of the Altean castle, munching on an apple-like fruit. You stop at the doors you're looking for, and start to walk down the long walkway as soon as they open. You sit down in front of the enclosed space. "Hello, Lotor."
"Hello, person I have never met before. What brings you here? Looking for even more information?"
"Nah, I'm bored." You lie down and pull out a deck of cards. "Wanna play?"
"Play what?"
"A card game. Go fish?"
He stares at you. "What do fish have to do with tiny pieces of paper?"
"Go fish is the name, silly." You sit back up. "Now do you want to play?"
"Sure."
"I'm Y/n, by the way."

"Y/N!" Allura bursts into the room, holding a staff with Shiro behind her.

"I'm not going to let him coerce you into doing something stupid!"

You stand up and glare at her. "There's nothing wrong with him! He's a lot nicer than you are!"
"See? He's already gotten you on his side!"
"No." You walk toward her and point your finger at her chest. "Maybe if you treated me better, we would be on the same page right now. He's a perfectly nice person!"
"Why are you trusting him?!"
"Cause he's my friend!"
"Y/n, I can't risk having you as a spy!" She swings her staff and hits the back of your head. Hard.

It's been a while since that incident, and you stay in your room most of the time. Sometimes you let Pidge in to help you with your research or Hunk when he brings you food, but that's about it for your interaction with the others.
They are all gathered on the bridge, since Allura summoned them, and she and Lotor seem to be getting along just fine. You sit in the corner, blanket draped over your shoulders. You type away on your laptop, and no one notices you. Everything is the same.
Voltron is struggling, and Lotor has finally seemed to notice the glowing marks on his face. It's only a matter of minutes before all of them are gathered in the room and they decide to send Allura and Lotor through the white hole. Alone.
You stare at your reflection in the window, glowing blue marks in the same shape as Lotor's resting on your face. A tear slips down your cheek. And then another. And another.
Drip.

"Y/n?" It's Lance's voice, cautious and quiet.
You look at him and stand up, closing your laptop.
"You- You have the marks," he stutters.
You stalk past him, your blanket dragging behind you. "Yeah," you spit out, "thanks for noticing."
"Y-Y/n, why didn't you say something?" Pidge asks. "You should have gone with them!"
You don't say another word and walk out of the room.

You don't respond.
"Can I come in?"
You throw your pillow at the door.

It slides to the floor.
The door opens, letting him in to sit next to your bed. "Y/n..."
You grab another pillow and smack him in the face. "Jerk."
"Y/n, I'm so-"
You smack him again.
"Y/n-"
Whump.
"Y-"
Whump.
"Lord Washing Machine!"
You stop at the stupid nickname. "Excuse me?"
"My lord-"
You smack him again. "Who said you could talk, peasant?"
"I'm a prince, thank you very much."
A small giggle escapes you before you cover your mouth and turn to face the wall. "I'm not talking to you."
"Well, let me talk to you."
You don't give him a response.
"Look, I'm really sorry. I've just been so caught with everything."
You roll back over and glare at him. "Wow, I didn't realize Allura already meant everything to you."
"Y/n."
"Ah, yes. What do you want with the friendly neighborhood trash can?"
He leans forward and wraps his arms around you. "I'm sorry."
"Right."
"I mean it."
"Sure."
"Y/n."
"Trash can speaking."
"Stop it."
"Stop what, Longitude?"
He sighs. "Why didn't you tell me you were all Altean?"
"Because I didn't know."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
Suddenly he asks "...Can I kiss you?"
"Wha- No!"
"Oh. Okay." His ears droop a little.
"Not right now."
They perk back up. "O-Okay!"
You sigh and ruffle his hair. "How does an emotionless lotus like you manage to make me soft?"
"I don't know. Sorry."
"Ugh."
"U-Uh, I love you?"
"I love me too."
He sighs. "Ouch."
"Tough love, babe." You smirk.
