Feather pillows

Today I did nothing. I lay in bed and played Snugglepot and Cuddlepie. I sat up for a bit, rested my head on three pillows, then two, then one. Two pillows were feather, one foam. I closed my eyes and heard the words 'I'm falling in love.' About time. Why can't it just be 'I'm in love.' How come the falling might need catching? Crash land. Don't hope for a safety net. Be ready for no guarantees. Don't trust anyone's feelings, not even your own. Trust your fingers. Let them press the release button, let them grind and squelch, tie ropes and roll rollies, play piano keys and me, an instrument finally being tuned. Cut off your hands and turn them into marble or a double ended dildo. Offer your heart and I'll take your hands. No falling. Only crash landing on feather pillows.
