Aya, Levi and Mikasa flew through the air as their wire attached to different trees and they swung. All free were following the female titan who had took Eren. Aya looked towards the ground
"Are you sure he's still alive?" Levi questioned turning to the teenager who simple glared back
"I know he is! This titan is intelligent and intends to take Eren away, it'd crush him if it wanted to kill him, instead it's fighting and running away with him in it mouth" Mikasa shouts glaring at the man as her fist became tighter on her sword.
"Eat Eren could be her goal" Levi simple said while Aya head snapped towards the man "If that's so, he's probably in the stomach and dead" Levi continued meeting Aya's glared
"He's alive!!" Mikasa shouts causing the both to dart their eyes towards her.
"Let's hope so" Aya mumbled before she looked forwards and towards the female titan, Aya could sense the anger radiating off Mikasa.
"This would of never happened in the first place, if you had actually protected Eren!" Mikasa suddenly shouted causing both captains to stiffen in place while Aya grip on her Odm gear while Levi eyes widened
"How the hell do you think our soldiers died then! Huh? By protecting Eren!" Aya shouted causing the teenager girl to look towards the floor before Aya signed and moved in front of the two.
"Your that one who....your Erens childhood friend" Levi hesitated while Mikasa simple glared at the man before she followed him to meet Aya.
"Let's narrow our goals, first, forget about taking her down" Levi states looking between both women while Aya nodded but Mikasa glared
"She killed so many of our comrades!!" Mikasa shouted back one more while Aya glared towards her
"It's impossible. She has the ability to harden her skin! Do as we say!" Aya shouted while Mikasa glared though Aya simple returned it.
"We're going to set all our hopes on Eren being alive and focus of getting him back" Levi states before he looked back up at the titan as she continued to run
"Me and Aya will do the cutting" Levi said looking towards Aya before he turned to Mikasa "You distract her" He order though Aya signed
"No!" Aya shouts causing both raven head to turn towards her " i will distract her, it's less Risky and she faster with a blade" Aya finishes off while Mikasa nodded but Levi hesitated.
"Fine" Levi signed before Aya nodded and flew towards the titan going through the tree's before she came swinging in front of the Titan who blue eyes scanned the girl before she reached out towards her.
"Huh?" Aya questioned eyes widened realized the titan didn't have an intention to kill her but grab her with the way the titan hand outstretched. Aya used her wire and attached to another tree before swinging back in front of her though as she reached out again. The female titan arm strecthed out towards levi.
Levi raced down the arm slicing all that he can, A glare appearing on his face while Mikasa aimed for the legs slicing as much as she can while Aya swing away so she wasn't in the way as the blonde watched as they continued to cut till she was unabled to stand and leaned against a tree. Her arm fell as well as her head.
Aya watched with a glared as she looked to see Mikasa eyes glint with satisfaction as sh readier her Odm gear. Aya knew what she was doing as the dark haired girl eyes glinted on the nape.
"Don't!" Aya shouted before she readied her Odm gear going for the girl as Levi's grew wide watching the two. Aya rushed faster as she saw the female titan's hand raising.
"Move!" Aya shouted finally reached the girl and pushing her out the way. Mikasa's eyes grew wide as she watched the hand come closer and closer to the blonde.
"Aya!" Levi shouted and just before the hand reached Levi pushed the blonde causing her to fall and snapped her leg as she did while Levi had kicked the hand back causing him to also hgurt his leg.
"Damn" Aya muttered as she attached her wire to a tree pulling herself up as she leaned against the tree, looking down as seeing how her bone was misplace. Aya signed before she snapped it back. Biting her lip in pain
"Levi!" Ay shouted looking towards the man in concern before Levi cut the female's mouth open as it revealed Eren. Aya eyes grew wide before she watched Levi grab him and fly off while both Mikasa and Aya followed
"Levi is he breathing?" Aya asked concerned laced in her voice while Levi looked towards her simple nodded while both girls let out a sign of relief.
Aya stood with Erwin as she had relayed what occurred during the female titan's attack and what she had found. The said teenage titan boy rested in a wagon unconscious after the Levi had brought him back.
"We're nearly done sir , however, 5 or so body's were unrecoverable" a soldier stated after they had walked towards the commander and captain. Aya frowned on hearing the news
"Not even pieces of them" Erwin asked looking towards the soldier who frowned
"Sadly the Titans didn't leave much behind" the soldier mumbled looking towards the ground while Aya's eyes turned towards the blonde commander.
"Anyway Erwin I feel it'd be better for the families if we didn't bring anything back" Aya towards Erwin while the man looked down towards the blonde captain who wore a straight look,
"Put them down as missing" Erwin states after he looked away from Aya and towards the solider.
"Yes sir, also several have being spotted in the vicinity of the forest, but not are yet to be collected" The solider states while Erwin frowned along side Aya who looked down to the ground
"We move at once. Inform the squads" Erwin simple states while the solider nodded afterwards both Aya and commander Erwin began to walk away
"I refuse to accept this!" Another soldier shouts causing both of the blonde to turn and looked at the solider who expression was filled with anger and sadness "We should recover them! Ivon's body was right there in front of us!" He shouted again
"We grew in the same town! His parents are like family to me! Id at least like to take him home!" Another solider shouted who stood beside the other one. Aya simple frowned towards the men
"A bunch of brats arguing" a voice said from behind as everyone eyes darted towards them to reveal Levi as he wore a glare for the two solider while Aya simple looked towards him
"If you've confirmed his death! Then that's enough! He dead, whether we have his body or not makes not difference" Levi states once again a more commander tone this time while Aya simple watched the scene.
"You can't be a Serious" one of the solider mumbled eyes wide as he looked at the raven haired captain
"I haven't got one of my teams body either! You don't see me being a pain and a brat do you! No! So grow a pair" Aya shouted suddenly at them before she she turned away from the men. A frown evident on her face while she followed Erwin and Levi walking away.
"You heartless bastards!! That's the respect you show toward the men who sacrificed there life for you!" He shouts Aya eyes grew wide at the word the solider spoke before she looked down gripping her fists
All the solider were soon on their way either on horse or in wagon. Some wagon were filled with bodies while Aya rode beside the wagon that held Eren who only continued to sleep. Aya watched before her attention turned towards screams
"Titans!!" a solider shouted causing Aya to turn and see the solider from before riding with the titan behind them and the body of their fallen comrade
"Uhh, you Bastard" Aya glared before she looked towards the solider's who rode on their horse beside her
"Full speed!" Captain Erwin commanded while they all nodded and kicked their horse in going faster as they picked up the pace
"Our best chance would be going back to the trees, we can't fight out here" Levi states causing Aya to turn towards him before she looked towards the blonde
"Fleeing to the wall will be quicker" Erwin simple states while he still looked ahead a glare evident on his face. Aya looked back to see the titan growing closer
"It's about to catch up to us!" Armin fear washing on his face
"We're going to have to fight" jean states looking back towards the titan. Aya could see his face was screaming with fear
"No! The land is to flat for ODM gear" Aya shouted towards the two making them snap their head towards her as they rode on the other side of the wagon
"What do we do then!?" Jean asked her confusion washed on his face while Aya frowned
"The only thing we can do" Armin says interrupting Aya who only nodded while they both turned towards the bodies while Jean's eyes grew wide. They well all interrupted by a scream to see one of the solider about to be eaten.
Aya looked back at the titan about to eat a soldier
"Tch" Aya simple states before she readied her Odm gear as she made the wire attached to the titan and slicing it's nape as quick as lightning as the titan let the solider go before he was back on his horse.
Aya was soon back on horse before she kicked the horse causing it to pick up speed as she made her way towards the wagon full of bodies, Making eyes contact with Levi while he simple glared towards the other soldiers
"Don't bother, dump the bodies!" Levi shouted causing the solider to look at him shocked
"B.but sir...!" The soldier eyes wide before he stopped been met with Levi's famous glare while the solider continued to hesitates
"That was an order!" Aya shouts at them causing them to shudder. Levi looked towards the blonde while Aya nodded towards him though that was soon interrupted by a titan making their way towards the wagon
"Damn" Aya had heard Levi mutter. Aya glanced towards the man to see him staring at his leg, Aya's eyes flashed with concerned though her attention was soon brought upon the wagon as the solider opened the gate.
Thee bodies soon came tumbles out, Aya watched not recognizing the solider until she saw an arm that had a red mark plastered on the wrist. Aya frowned as tear brimmed her eyes knowing it was Izumi , Aya also frown when she saw Petra before Aya looked towards Levi, to see him glaring.
"We're losing him!" A soldier shouts while all the other signed in relief though Aya only wore a frown before she made her horse gallop in front Levi watched with concern.
As all the scout took a break. A specific solider who went back for his friend stood to the side eyes wide with horror all of his face though his attention soon darted to the clicking of hooves that made their way towards him
"Captain Levi?" The soldier states looking up towards him while Levi only held something out to him. The man's eyes grew wide
"This is proof that they once lived, that how I see it anyway" Levi say and the soldier looked down to see, his friends symbol of the scout regiment in his hands and looked even more shocked and then started to cry.
"Thank you sir" the soldier shouted tear falling down his eyes while Levi only watched him though his attention soon fell onto a blonde that sat on the top of a hill, Looking down at all the soliders
"What are you doing?" Levi asked walked towards the women who simple continued to stare at the sky
"Thinking " Aya answered with a monotone expression. Levi glared towards the blonde before he looked back towards the sky "what I'm going to tell there family?" Aya answered as she looked towards the ground fist clenched
"Tell then that they died a noble soldier who will always be remembered" Levi simple states causing Aya to turn and look up at him while he looked down to meet her gaze
"Yeah" Aya replied looking down not before she felt him grab her hand and place soemthing in it. Aya looked towards him confused before she looked down to see 4 scout regiment carved out of a jacket
"Is this?" Aya questioned looking towards the man eyes wide while Levi simple looked towards her "Why did you-" Aya didn't get to finish
"I thought that you might want them" Levi answered a tint of red on his face before he looked away. Aya looked up towards him before she smiled slightly
"Thank you" Aya smiled looking up towards him before Levi glance towards her, His eyes trailing towards the bandage leg
"How's your leg?" Levi asked concern written in his voice while Aya eyes widened slight before she turned towards the leg.
"My leg?" Aya questioned while Levi looked towards her, Eyes brows knitted together in confusion before Aya signed "My leg is fine! Look!" Aya said she she jumped up fro sitting. Levi's eyes were wide
'How is that possible, she hurt her leg more then mine, and I can hardly walk" Levi thought eyes wide while the blonde simple looked at him a gentle smile on her face as her blonde hair blow in the wind
"How is tha-" Levi began
"Let's move out!" Erwin shouted, Aya smiled towards Levi before she ran towards her horse. Levi looked after her eye wide in shock before he shook his head and made his way to his horse.
Aya walked along the path as she held her horse, along with everyone else as they wore morbid looks. All the towns people smiled with waves and claps. Aya looked at all the people as they scanned the crowd looking for the people they care for but their face falling into concern
'I always hated this part' Aya thought as she heard people mumbled. Aya looked around as she watched some people wailing at the terrible news. Aya looked back towards the wagon to see Eren awake before she nodded at him
"Captain Aya!" A voice shouted while everyone near her turned to the voice which include Eren and Levi. They all turned to see a small girl with freckles and a pink dress.
"Alyssa?" Aya questioned eyes wide in horror while both Eren and Levi looked towards the women in concern as he eyes fell to the floor.
"Where is big sister Yui!" The small girl shouted with a smile while Eren's eyes grew wide looking at the little girl, Seeing the resemblance between her and her sister.
"Where are your parents?" Aya asked as she tried to hold back her tears, Alyssa's face scrunched up in confusion looking towards the soldiers
"There at home. I wanted to be the one to bring Yui back!" Alyssa shouted her eyes falling on Eren who were filled with guilt
"Well she is just.. I want you to know something Alyssa" Aya smiled as she bent down placing her hands on the girl shoulder with a gentle smiled while both Eren and Levi watched "Yui is a wonderful person, so kind, generous and a good soldier" Aya smiled as a tear fell down her cheek
"I know! I want to be just like her!" She shouted with a smile as Eren, Levi and Aya's eyes grew wide on seeing the small girl do the Salute. Aya stood up abruptly before she walked away the rest of the solider following.
"Aya!" The little girl shouted at her till she was lost in the crowd
Aya only continued to walk beside her horse, Ignoring all the pleads for their families and the cry that wailed out. Aya soon turned towards Levi to see him been bombarded with a older man
"When she sent us a letter about marriage!" He explained, Aya was shocked by this but still carried on and still listen to the man as Levi kept ignoring him, as she was walking she saw a familiar face 'ban's fiance' Aya thought and remember when he told them the news
"I can't" Aya mumbled holding her mouth as she walked away. Levi watched after her in concern while Eren only continued to looked towards the ground guilt filling his eyes
