A/N: Thank you for understanding the lack of updates but I'm back now. I also want to thank those who offered their condolences on Quotev and Wattpad. It has been an emotional rollercoster the last couple of weeks but things are starting to get back to normal in a way.
Once it was after school, the group walked into the library so they could attend detention. Scott was still shaking with fury over what he had seen in the locker room. Despite Imogen being unharmed, he was still feeling unnerved by finding Jackson being completely naked in her presence. What had he tried to do before he got there? He didn't want to think that Jackson would be capable of harming Imogen or any girl like that but he was being controlled so he had no way of truly knowing what Jackson's intentions were.
He dropped down in the chair, eyeing Jackson who passed his table to sit at the one behind him. Stiles sat down next to him with Erica plopping down in the seat across from him. He ignored her gaze as his eyes fell on Imogen who sat alone and noticed her concerned look for him.
"Oh, uh - we can't be in detention together." Jackson piped, sitting at the table with Allison and Matt. "I have a restraining order against these tools."
Harris raised a brow. "All of these tools?"
Stiles sighed, pointing to himself and Scott who rolled his eyes. "No, just us tools."
"Fine." Harris' gaze fell on the table where the Lewis girl was sitting at. "You two, over there."
Scott and Stiles stood up before going over to Imogen's table. He sat across from her with Stiles sitting next to her. He turned his head, glaring over at the Kanima shifter. "I'm gonna kill him."
"No, you're not." Imogen deadpanned, giving him a frown.
"She's right." Stiles said, also frowning at his best friend. "You're going to find out who's controlling him and then you're gonna help save him."
"No." Scott shook his head, glaring over at Jackson who seemed to not notice or maybe he just didn't care. "You were right, let's kill him."
Stiles glanced at Imogen who also seemed just as concerned. He sighed. "Oh - No."
Imogen reached over, grabbing Scott's hands and he looked at her in surprise. "Look, I get that you're mad at Jackson but keep in mind that he's not exactly himself at the moment." She said softly. Her brows furrowed slightly. "And now that I think about it, he seemed pretty shocked when I threw him on the ground. It was like he didn't even know how or why I was in the locker room in the first place. So, don't kill Jackson."
Scott pouted slightly, his browns eyes never leaving her blue one's. "Fine, I won't. But, he better keep away from you or else." He muttered, wanting to reach over and kiss her but, he was sure that Harris would just yell at him again.
Stiles ignored their little moment as he glanced over at the table where Jackson was and his eyes fell on the guy next to Allison. He pursed his lips, eyeing the guy in annoyance. "Hey. What if it's Matt?" He started, getting their attention on him. "I mean, this whole thing comes back to the video, right?"
Scott blinked. "Danny said that Matt was the one who found the two hours of footage missing." He said sharing a glance with his girlfriend.
"Exactly! He's trying to throw suspicion off himself."
They didn't look convinced by his words. "So he makes Jackson kill Isaac's dad, one of Argent's hunters, and the mechanic working on your jeep?"
"Yes!"
"Why?" Scott and Imogen both asked, staring at him in disbelief. Neither of them really knew Matt so they weren't really sure why Stiles picked him as a suspect.
"Because - he's evil." He muttered with a frown, not liking the vibe he got whenever Matt was around.
Imogen hid her smile as Scott gave his friend a bemused look. "You just don't like him."
"The guy..." He huffed. "Bugs me. I don't know what it is. Just look at his face."
The three looked over to see Matt offering chips to Jackson. The young witch chuckled quietly to herself. "Yeah, he seems really evil to me."
Scott sighed. "Any other theories?" He watched his best friend looking behind him and he turned slightly, repressing growl when he realized that he wanted to ask Erica for information. The blonde obviously heard them and could see the small smirk she tried to hide. "You can't be serious." He muttered.
"She's the one who knows what happened to Jackson's parents." Stiles reminded him.
"I don't like it either but, we have no other choice." Imogen told him gently, she wasn't fond of the idea of going to the girl who flirted with her boyfriend for help.
They were pulled away from their conversation when Jackson fled the library with a headache and Harris quickly following in suit but not before warning them to stay in their seats. The three quickly got up and sat down at Erica's table, the blonde hid her smirk as she read.
"Stiles says you know how Jackson's parents died." Scott told her.
The blonde didn't move her gaze from her book. "Maybe."
"Talk." Imogen demanded, her eyes narrowing at the girl who stiffened. "Unless you want to a reminder of last time."
Erica put her book down, looking at them as she didn't want the witch to go through with her threat. "It was a car accident. My dad was the insurance investigator, and every time he sees Jackson drive by in his Porsche, he makes some comment about the huge settlement he'll be getting when he's 18."
Stiles blanched at the news. "So not only is Jackson rich now, but he's getting even richer at 18?"
She nodded. "Yep."
Imogen blinked. "Wow."
"There's something so deeply wrong with that." Stiles muttered under his breath.
"You know what?" Erica opened her laptop. "I could try to find the insurance report on my dad's inbox. He keeps everything."
"Imogen Lewis to the principal's office."
The girl tensed in her seat and both Scott and Stiles sent her worried looks. She stood up, glancing over at Allison who looked scared for her and she sighed. "I'll be right back." She muttered, not glancing back at Scott who was ready to follow after her but was kept down by Stiles who reminded him that he couldn't do anything.

Imogen walked into the office, trying to not look to anxious as she approached the front desk where Mrs. Argent sat sharpening pencils. "The principal wanted to see me?"
"I wanted to talk to you actually." The red haired woman said, the same stoic look on her face and her eyes cold as they stared up at her. "I'm concerned about the detention today. How Allison ended up in there with you, Mr. McCall and Mr. Stilinski." She said in a curt tone. "A sink was ripped off the wall. You're lucky I'm here to explain that to people somehow. You realize that?"
"Yeah." Imogen swallowed at the woman's tone. "I do."
"Good." Her eyes cold as she spoke. "Are you still talking to Allison?"
The young witch's gaze didn't waver despite her heart hammering in her chest. This woman intimidated her despite being a normal human. "No, of course not. I haven't talked to her since your husband practically threatened me and my boyfriend." She said, trying keep her voice steady.
"Good." Victoria paused. "I'd also like your blonde friend to keep away from my daughter. I'm fully aware now that she's also a witch, so do me a favor and pass the message."
"Okay." She breathed out, before the woman told her to go back to detention and she didn't feel the slightest bit embarrassed that she practically ran out of there.

Scott reluctantly got up with the rest of the group, walking over to the carts filled with books and picked up a couple. Harris wasn't going to let them leave without putting the books away. They could leave but, knowing Harris, he'd find out. And he wasn't interested in getting yelled at by the bitter man.
He looked over at the door as the familiar scent of his girlfriend wafted into his nose. She smelled sweet which he could tell was from her perfume and he liked it on her. But beneath the perfume smell, the scent of herbs lingered which was obviously from the herbs and plants she handled at home.
He was relieved to see that she was okay and waved her over. Once she was close, he pulled her into his chest. There was no scent on her from Gerard which means she wasn't close enough for him to hurt her. "What happened? Why were you called to the principal's office?" He placed his hands on her shoulders to look at her.
She glanced over away from him and followed her gaze that fell on Allison who seemed oblivious to their staring. "Her mom just wanted to make sure that I wasn't talking to her and very subtly threatened me. But, it's fine." She assured him, leaning up and pecking him on the lips. "So, what are you doing?" She asked, eyeing the books in his hands.
"Harris said we could leave only after we put all the books away." He muttered.
"Oh." She blinked. "By the way, did you guys find out more about Jackson's parents?" She questioned him softly, glancing over at Jackson who followed Matt with the cart of books.
"Uh yeah." He nodded, pulling her with him to where Allison and Stiles were with their own cart of books. "Erica told us about how Jackson was still inside his mom when she died."
Her eyes saddened at the news and Stiles continued for his best friend once he realized that he was telling her about Jackson. "It means he was born after his mom died- by c - section." Stiles continued. "They had to pull him out of her dead body."
"So was it an accident or not?" Allison asked curiously.
He sighed. "The word all over the report is inconclusive."
"Then his parents could have been murdered?" Imogen uttered, feeling bad for Jackson since she understood the loss of a parent. She missed her mother everyday and nothing could ever fill that void in her heart no matter what.
"If they were, then it falls in line with the kanima myth. You know? It seeks out and kills murderers."
"But for Jackson?" The brunette huntress asked in low whisper. "Or the person controlling him?"
"We have to talk to him." Scott blurted out, realizing that they had to sit Jackson down and tell him everything. And hopefully he'd actually listen to them. "We have to tell him."
Allison shook her head. "He's not gonna l -"
He walked off before she could finish her sentence. She huffed, glancing at her friend who gave her a shrug. "You might be right but, we have to try at least." She said, before her whole body got tense and got a sense of foreboding.
"Erica!" Scott yelled out in panic when he saw Matt was out cold on the floor and quickly realized that Jackson had turned into the Kanima.
Stiles quickly pulled the girls to the ground when the shelves around them began falling. They were almost crushed under one when it fell over. Only it was being held up by Imogen who was gritting her teeth at the weight of both books and the shelf. "That was close." Stiles breathed out, staring at the book that was hovering over his face with wide eyes.
"Too close." Imogen pushed the shelf up to where it was, exhaling once she was no longer holding onto the weight. She sat up, the three walking behind Scott who looked at the three in relief that they were okay before looking back over at Jackson. Imogen was ready to knock Jackson out until she realized he was writing something on the board.
STAY OUT OF MY WAY OR I'LL KILL ALL OF YOU
Jackson escaped quickly out the window and the four got up, staring at the message with mixed emotions. Stiles was quick to notice Erica who was shaking on the floor. "Whoa, hey, hey, hey, hey!" He held her in his arms. "I think she's having a seizure."
Imogen and Allison rushed over to Matt who was still on the ground. "He's alive." Imogen breathed out, after checking his pulse and Allison was fussing over the guy.
"Hey, we need to get her to a hospital." Scott said, looking through the gap in the shelf to look at her.
"Derek - only to Derek." The blonde choked out.
Scott looked at his girlfriend. "When we get her to the hospital -"
"To Derek." She repeated, knowing that her alpha could help her.
Imogen stared at him, knowing she couldn't leave Allison here alone with just Matt. They still needed to get rid of the warning on the board. "Go." She told him.
Scott ignored Stiles protest as he rushed over to his girlfriend as she stood up. "I'm staying here with you." He said softly, he didn't want to leave her.
"Stiles can't take her alone. Not like this." Her voice gentle, her blue eyes understanding of the situation they were in. "And Matt - we've got to call an ambulance for him, just go."
"This doesn't feel right." He cupped her hands. "We're supposed to stay together."
"It's okay." She assured him, giving him a small smile. "Scott, you don't have to worry about me. We need to make sure they're okay, so you need to take Erica to Derek. He'll know how to help her."
"No, it's not." He shook his head, a frown on his lips. "No, it's not right."
"It doesn't mean anything." They were still together but that didn't mean they had to stay together no matter how much they wanted to.
"But it feels like it does." He whispered.
"Scott, go." She told him. "Go." She looked up at him through her thick lashes. "I'll call you if anything else happens but you need to help Stiles with Erica."
"Okay." He gave up, knowing how stubborn she was and pressing a gentle kiss on her forehead before leaving with Stiles and Erica.
Imogen went over to Allison and Matt, pulling out her phone and dialed the ambulance before erasing the message on the board with her magic. She sat down beside Allison, their figures hidden from the camera view and the two stared at the unconscious guy on the floor, waiting for the ambulance to show up.
