Bellamy's POV:
I ran up to level three so that I could find room 319. I had nurses telling me to stop running and walk instead. I respect them. But to hell with them right now.
I found the room there Clarke is suppose to be. She wasn't there. I'm confused and scared right now. There were another nurse who walked out lf room 319.
-Clarke Griffin, a family member were supposed tp be in there. Can you tell me where she is? I asked. I tried my best to stay calm. Unluckily I couldn't.
-Dr Santiago is with Miss Griffin right now. She is doing an MRI on Miss Griffin. She will be done soon. The nurse told me.
-Do you know anything about Jasper Jordan and Monty Green? I asked. This nurse is much nicer then the others.
-They both are in the OR. She said.
-What the hell is the OR? I asked nervously.
-The operation room. I don't know anything else. Oh, I see that Miss Griffin has finished her MRI. She said. At first I was confused. But I turned around and saw someone pushing a wheelchair and Clarke were sitting on the wheelchair. I'm so happy to see her alive. The nurse that I had been talking to left. She has work to do.
The nurse that wheeled Clarke took her into the room. I followed right behind them. I want to know everything that the doctor knows and found out on the MRI. She has to be okay. My princess has to be okay. So now we are waiting for the doctor to arrive. I stood in the corner. My hands in my pockets. I looked down on the floor. I might seem pathetic at this moment.
-How's she doing? I aksed the nurse.
-They had given her a few things so she might not be herself right now. The doctor will be hear any minute. The nurse told me. She was right. The doctor were on his way. Less than a minute later the nurse left and the doctor arrived. I looked over at Clarke who were laying in the hospital bed. She's in her own world. She hasn't even acknowledge that I'm here.
-How's Clarke's condition? I asked the doctor.
-I guess you are the boyfriend? The doctor said.
-I'm a family member. I said. I'm not lying. We are practically family. So I'll go with us being family members.
-Oh, okay. She was asking for Bellamy Blake. However, she has a broken arm, two broken ribs and a concussion. A few cuts and bruises. Luckily there are no internal bleedings or damage. She's lucky that there were no other damages. The doctor told me. I'm so freaking relived that she's going to be okay and as the doctor told me, there are no other damages. Finally I feel like I can breath. Then I remembered Jasper and Monty.
-Doctor can you tell me if Monty Green and Jasper Jordan are out of surgery. They were in the car accident with her. I told him. The doctor looked through his something that he was holding.
-Monty Green is out of surgery. He's in room 320. I still have no information of Mr Jordan's condition. He's still in surgery. That's all I know. A nurse will come and check up on Miss Griffin soon. Is there someone that you can call? Jordan and Green were apparently each others emergency number. If you know someone maybe you could call them? The doctor told me before he left the room.
To Octavia:
Get all your asses down to Seattle Hospital ASAP! Please grab a taxi.
I put away my phone. Then I sat down on a stool next to Clarke's hospital bed. She still, as before, seems to be in her own world. Our eyes met. I could tell that she is confused and dizzy.
-Yo, stranger come here. I need to tell you a secret. Just listen. She said adn waved her hands telling me to get closer. I'm scared of what she might say. This isn't the Clarke that I know. The doctor and nurse told me after all that she won't be herself for a few hours. I did as she wanted and leaned in a little closer.
-I'm mad at my friend. Clarke started.
-Who is -
-Shhh! I said listen you mean person. Octavia!! Clarke said excited. Octavia? What?
-What about O? I asked. Clarke pointed at the door. There stood Octavia and all our friends. They all looks really shocked.
-How did you guys get her so soon? I asked.
-I wondered where you went and we tracked your phone. Took a taxi here and when we went into the hospital I saw your text. Octavia said.
-Can someone tell me why the actually hell Clarke is in a hospital bed and where are Monty and Jasper? What happened? Raven asked.
-All I know is that there were a car accident. I got a call that Clarke had been in a car accident. I said.
-Hey! That's my name! Clarke brust out in laughter.
-Don't listen to her. Monty is in room 320 next door. I haven't checked up on him yet. I said. Miller, Murphy and Raven walked out of the room to go and see how Monty is doing and what's going on with him.
-Jasper? Octavia asked.
-He's still in the OR. I said not looking at Octavia. Lincoln had her wrapped in his arms.
-Tavia! I'm still here! Clarke said all cherish. Octavia got out of Lincoln's embrace and walked across the room and sat down on the edge of Clarke's hospital bed. I walked to the door there Lincoln stood.
-How you doing honey? I heard Octavia asking Clarke.
-My body hurts. I think that I were in an accident since I'm in a hospital bed. Why am I here? What happened? Clarke asked.
-Bellamy got a call. You were in a car accident. You are okay now. Jasper and Monty are okay too. All you have to do is lay back, close your eyes and rest. We'll be back soon. Octavia said. Clarke did as she was told and it didn't take to long until she had fallen asleep.
Lincoln, Octavia and I walked out of the room, leaving Clarke alone. It won't bother her since she isn't awake. Instead we walked into room 320. Monty was asleep too. Murphy, Raven and Miller sat on each stool and waited for a doctor or anyone to come in and tell us that he's okay. Monty must be okay. We can't lose him.
I honesty can't believe that this night turned out to be a nightmare. The night that I graduated. That's not the point and it doesn't matter now. Nothing of that matters. All I want is for our three friends to be okay. To survive. I were leaning against the door frame. Then I heard someone's voice behind me. Finally another doctor.
-Only family members or relatives can be here right now. The doctor said. I'm pissed at them for saying that all the time.
-Listen doc, I don't want to be disrespectful or anything. We are staying here. We are family. We might not be blood relative with these three amazing people. Right now they are in the hospital, we are worried and love them. We aren't leaving our family here and you can't throw us out. I won't do anything stupid cause I know that the girl in room 319 will kick my ass. I suggest that you tell us how Monty Green here, and Jasper Jordan are doing. I said as calmly as I possible could.
-We operated on Mr Jordan. I hate to inform you that he's in a coma. But that his surgery went successfully. Monty Green here is going to be fine. One of his lungs had collapsed. That's why he was in the OR. As I said, he'll be okay when he wakes up. The doctor told us.
-When can we take them home? Octavia asked.
-Miss Griffin can leave the hospital tomorrow and Mr Green can leave in two days. If he's lucky he can leave tomorrow too. The doctor told us. After he left I looked at my friends. We all are heartbroken because our goofy, quirky little weird friend Jasper is in a coma. Why does things like these happen to good people? What did they do to deserve this? They did nothing. I wanted to trash things and scream at doctors and nurses to do everything they could to get Jasper out of the coma. For Monty and Clarke to get better and up on their feets soon.
The next day
Me and our friends had been needing to leave the hospital since there were no visiting time when we arrived last evening. I had gone home to get some sleep, a shower and eat something.
Now I'm sitting in Clarke's hospital room and waiting for her to wake up. To see her blue, beautiful and lifeful eyes. I had talked to the doctors. They had put Monty and Clarke in a share room so that I can be able to here when they wake up. Lincoln had texted me that they will be here in an hour. Raven, Murphy and Miller will be here between an hour and two.
-Where am I? I heard someone say. It wasn't Clarke. I turned around to see a confused Monty who were trying his best to sit up.
-You were in a car accident. We will tell you more about it later. Let me get the nurse. I said. I could hear him trying to talk to Clarke who still were sleeping. I got a hold of a nurse and she walked with me back into the room. I stood next to Monty's bed so that I could hear everything she were telling him.
-So I can leave today? He asked.
-We would like if you stayed another day. Just so that we can make sure that everything is perfectly fine. It's up to you. If you want you are allowed to leave today. Think about it. The nurse said and left.
-If I were you, I'd check out so that you don't have to pay anymore hospital bills. And you can stay here to make sure that Jasper and I are okay and until we also get checked out. I heard someone say. I turned around to see a sleepy Clarke. She is awake and it's her voice.
-You're awake. I said happily and walked over to her side of the room.
-My body hurts. Clarke said. I won't judge her if she complains. She is allowed to do that as much as she likes.
-You're okay princess? I asked as I leaned down and kissed her forehead.
-Just get together already. Monty mumbled.
-We are in a hospital and you're in the room. Clarke said.
-Should I leave? Monty asked.
-You were in surgery dude. I think you should stay in that bed for another couple hours. I said.
-But I'm fine. You heard the nurse. I could leave the hospital today if I like. He said and smirked.
-I won't argue with that.
-Where's Jasper? Clarke asked.
-Yeah, is he okay? Why isn't he here? Monty added. This is a conversation that I would love to avoid. I know that that is impossible since they are eventually going to find out.
-You better sit down for this. I started.
-We are laying in beds Bell. Now just tell us. Clarke said.
-The doctor told us that he was in the OR. Everything went well. Except that he's in erm it's not easy to say. Jasper is in a coma. I said. I didn't dare to look at Clarke or Monty. Jasper is not only Monty's best friend. They are like brothers.
-They also said that he's going to be fine. Jasper is going to wake up. The doctor told me that. I added really fast. I know that that was a real big lie. I don't know when or if he actually is going to wake up. I can't take away their pain but I guess that I calmed them down a little bit. I have never seen Monty cry before. Except now when his best friend might not wake up.
-Jasper was hammered like hell. He called Maya. He was in the backseat. I was in the passangerseat and Monty drove the car. Is the car okay? CLarke asked.
-The car is no car anymore. I told them.
-Are you really thinking about that stupid car right now? Monty yelled.
-No, I was just trying to think about something else.
-Guys, don't fight. As I said, Monty is going to wake up. And he is going to be his old self. I said. I wasn't just trying to convince them. I tried to convince me too.
Later that day all our friends had come back to the hospital. Everyone were sitting in Jasper's room just watching him. Wishing that he will soon waking up and say something funny. Just so that we all can laugh and feel happy. Monty had been released from the hospital but taken Clarke's advice. He stayed but in Jasper's room as a civil person and not a patient.
Octavia had taken with her clean clothes that Clarke could get into. And food that wasn't hospital food. Miller had done the same thing but for Monty. I was sitting outside Clarke's hopsital room with the food and waited as she got dressed.
-Should I follow you guys home? As much as I love Jasper it's a little depressing being at the hospital. Raven said.
-Sure, why not. I think Clarke would like that. I you go in there and see if she's done getting dressed? I asked Raven.
-That I can do. Raven said and walked into the room there Clarke currently is at.
-Everything okay Bell? Octavia asked as the door closed behind Raven.
-I hope so. Jasper will be fine right? I asked.
-Of course he will. It's Jasper. The question is, is Clarke going to be okay? Octavia asked me. At first I looked at her confused. What was she talking about? Then it hit me, her father died in a car accident years ago. Jasper is in a coma now because of the car accident that happened last night.
-Raven will help me. I said.
-I'm here if you want the help brother. Octavia said. Then the door opened and out came Clarke who was being pushed out of the room by Raven. She looked at me with sympathy. I know that it's directed toward Clarke. Clarke doesn't want to admit it. Five minutes later Clarke had checked out of the hospital. Raven carried Clarke's two bags that Octavia had brought to the hospital. Octavia had packed a whole bag with clothes. Just so that Clarke could have a choice of what she wants to wear. Sometimes I don't really know what goes through my little sisters mind.
When we were at the parking lot I found my car. I on locked it and put Clarke's luggage in the back of the car. Raven hopped into the car and clothes the door after her. I let her drive the car. I sat in the backseat but Clarke didn't move one single muscle. She just stood outside the car waiting for whatever might happen. So I got out of the car again and walked around it to see Clarke's eyes filled with tears. She wasn't crying. She's not one to cry.
-It's a ten minutes car drive. I said and put my hands on her shoulders.
-I know Bell. I just, I don't want, you know what I mean. Clarke stuttered.
-Let's just take it slow. Okay? You get into the car. We can just sit there until you are ready? Then Raven can start the motor. We can wait another few minutes. Then we will drive home. I will be right by your side all the time. How does that sound? I suggested.
-Okay. Clarke stuttered once again. Ten minutes later Clarke started to relax. I didn't say anything I just nodded my head as Raven looked at me. So she started to car and drove out of the parking lot. I told Clarke to focus on my voice as she looked at me. I tried to talk to her. About all kind of the usual things we talk about. Still Clarke was very tense the whole time back to the apartment. I think that she did a great job for being scared of being in the car after the last event. Raven parked the car on the side of the road. I got out and so did Clarke. I took her luggage and then Raven unlocked the apartment so that the three of us could walk in. Clarke walked into her room and laid down on her own bed. I thanked Raven for driving us back home.
-Bell! I need help! Clarke yelled from her room.
-I will give you privacy. Give me an update on her later. I will grab a cab home. Raven said and walked out of the apartment.
-What is it princess? I asked as I walked into her room. She laid on her bed.
-Can you maybe hold me? She asked.
-Are you sure? I asked. I was nervous. And I'm not one to be nervous. This is a new feeling.
-I feel safe in your arms Bell. Now get in here and hold me. She said. I took of my bppts and jacket before I got onto the bed and wrapped my arms around Clarke, pulled her closer to me. She laid her head on my chest before she fell asleep. This isn't something unusual when it comes to Clarke and I. But for once, it actually feels different. Like something has changed. No, it's not because of the car accident. I feel different and this feels different. And I'm loving this new feeling. It didn't take longer before I also fell asleep with Clarke in my arms.
