HAPPY RESOLUTION DAY!

How are you all?
I am sorry again for making you wait for three weeks for the update, but my wrist was not healing and it was hurting so much and typing with one hand is way too difficult for me... but now I am fine Alhamdulillah.
Next, I started my new job and I am having my morning shifts and hospital job is NOT EASY!
I didn't get time to write the chapter, but In Sha Allah I will try to update the next chapter as soon as possible.
MAAZ'S POV:
I watched her going limp in my arms which panicked me, I quickly lifted her up and lay on the bed and ran downstairs to get some water and call my family doctor, I sprinkle some water on her face and tapped her cheeks, after a while she stirred and opens her eyes for a bit but close them again going back into her previous state, Damn it Areesha!
There was a knock on the door, I open it and let the doctor in, she checked her up and told me that she will be better in a while, just got into this condition due to depression and shock,
"Sir, do you want me to give her some...
"Just do whatever it takes to keep her safe," I said, pacing around the room and glancing back at Areesha, Doctor left after injecting her with something and told me she will gain her consciousness in a few hours, I closed the door and took a seat beside Areesha, holding her hand in mine,
I can not believe what she told me earlier, how that's possible? There must be something going on in that Moron's head and I should have given him a serious concussion so he could lose some of his abilities, but sure I will get my hands on him again and this time he is not going anywhere, he won't find a single place on this planet, I will assure it by myself.
I couldn't keep her happy for a day! What kind of a man I am? Damn it!
How in the hell everything is getting out of my hands like a sand, I have to get a grip on our life, this has to end and now I will put an end to it, he won't be coming back to us again, no more suffering, no more pain, that's it now,
I picked up my cell phone and call to check on Adil,
"What is the update?" I asked when my man answered the call,
"Sir, he is safe and right now reading a book with Miss Noureen," he answered,
"Keep an eye on the surroundings, I will send more security guards, don't let your guards down until my next orders, next 24 hours are going to be really dangerous and you have to keep Adil safe and away from us till then and I don't want to hear any excuses, nor I will tolerate any kind of mistake, if anything goes wrong I will shoot you myself, understand!"
"Yes, Sir," he said and I cut the call,
I started pacing around the room again, there were so many things going around in my mind right now and for the second time in my life I was scared to death again,
I wipe the sweat from my forehead and exited my room and walked to the left wing, where Nani ma was staying after getting discharged from the hospital, she was getting weak day by day and just thinking to lose her, ache, my heart in a way that I can't describe, she is my strength and everything, I don't want her to leave me, I need her.
I opened the door and saw her sleeping soundly on her bed, I watched her quietly for some time, I won't lose my family again, I will rather die before going through that same pain again, I won't let that happen at any cost!
I wipe away the single tear from my eye, it's not a time to be emotional, it's time to act, I have to keep all of them safe from that devil and I will finish it today, I don't want him to ruin our lives again, he has done enough damage and today he is going to pay for each and everything.
I bend and gently kissed her forehead before going back to my bedroom, I assigned my trusted bodyguards outside her room and gave strict instructions for her security.
I returned to my room and move towards my dressing room when my gaze landed on Aresha's phone near the dresser, I picked it up and saw a notification of a text from an unknown number, getting suspicious, I tried to open it up, but she has set up a password on it, I started thinking what it might be,
I typed Adil first, but it was wrong, I tried several other names and places, but it was of no use, frustrated by that silly phone I was about to throw it on the wall when I thought of it. Yes!
How silly of me!
I typed JAZZY and it was correct, I quickly open the text, there was an address of that familiar place and in the end was a warning, not to let me know about it, he has asked her to come alone, like in hell I will allow her to leave from my sight!
I heard a soft cry from her and turn back to her, she was holding blanket so tightly that her knuckles were turning white, I bend down and kissed her forehead,
"Areesha, love, open your eyes," I called her out gently stroking her hairs, she opened her eyes and blink several times trying to clear her vision from the tears, she sits up and hugged me, started crying, I caress her back,
"Maaz," she cried, holding my shirt in her fist,
"We will sort it out Areesha, I promise, I will find a way to get Aunt Maheen back, but you have to promise me, you won't do anything without informing me,"
She didn't say anything, just look down at her hands, I lifted her face with my finger, forcing her to look at me, she averted her gaze and look down again and nodded and walked into the bathroom.
I got a call from Steve telling me about the security details and other information on Jawed and that lousy gang and his members,
"Gather all men in my office in fifteen minutes, time for some action now," I said and cut the call.
I turn around and saw Areesha coming out of the bathroom, wiping her face with the towel and pick her cell phone, I saw her expressions changed, I snatch it away from her before she could read that text and deleted it,
"Maaz! Give it back to me!" she shouted, "No, just stay here," I said and put her phone inside my jeans.
"No, I won't stay here and you can't keep me here against my wish, I have to go!" she said stubbornly
"You are not going anywhere, understand!" I said in a hard tone, enough for her to understand I am not joking around and she should take it seriously this time, I know how she gets herself into troubles and I don't want her to get into any when I am not around,
Hell, I don't want her to get into any kind of trouble, but I don't know how she just attracts them to her,
"NO! I don't understand, give me my phone back Maaz!"
"Areesha, don't tempt me right now," I said, trying to subdue my anger,
"Why can't you just stay out of my troubles? Why you always have to be there? I can handle it okay! I have survived all those years living with him and I know I can handle this situation," she said glaring at me, I frowned.
"I know what exactly is going through your mind, but mind it Areesha, I am dead serious right now, if you ever try to get out of this room without my consent, you will have to face some serious consequences, stay here, till I come back to get you and if you try to do anything, you know I have Adil with me so that poor soul will have to be punished for your doings, I have been patient with him, but no more, I am done with your stubbornness, so before doing anything, just think of your little brother,"
"Is it clear?" I asked she stayed silent looking at me,
"I think I have made myself clear," I said, looking at her eyes, I could see the same fear on her face, but to keep her here, I will do anything, if I have to make her hate me,
"You wouldn't!" she stuttered with disbelief,
"Try me,"
"Maaz, it's not your fight anymore, he wants me, not you, what if he hurts you or Mama? So, please just let me go and....
"NO!" I turn around and shouted in such a loud voice that she flinches terribly, but just the thought of her standing in front of that moron was too much for me, it's never going to happen!
"I...
"I don't want to hear a single word from you, just stay here," I said and marched out of the room and press the lock key and secure it with my thumbprint,
"Open the door Maaz!" I heard her yelling, but I ignored it and walked down to my office trying to calm myself, I have to control my anger, it just clouded my mind and I can't think straight when I am furious.
I took a seat behind my office desk and asked Steve to bring all the men and started discussing the strategy.
I dismiss them all after giving instructions to get their positions on the assigned task, we were going to leave in twenty minutes, I enter into my bedroom and found Areesha curled up on the bed, I wanted to go to her and gather her into my arms and take that pain away from her, I am feeling guilty for talking to her like that, but I know how stubborn she is and I have to do anything for her to stay,
I was a bit relieved to see her still in the room, I can bet she was thinking, a way to escape before I came here, the look on her face was just saying it all.
She jumps up from the bed and stands right in front of me,
"Maaz, at least tell me what is going on? What are you planning? Why I can't come with you?"
"And more importantly, you don't have to do this, what if something happens to you? Huh? What if he hurts you? I have been through a lot of things Maaz, but I can't bear the pain of losing you," she said, cupping my face in her hands, I hold her wrist and kissed them,
"Nothing is going to happen to me, Okay, you don't have to worry about me, the only person should be worried is that moron, he doesn't have a clue what he is going to get from me," I told her,
"Don't go Maaz, please," she pleaded, but I move away from her, if I stay a little bit more with her, I will never be able to leave, I know I will give in to her, she is the one who makes me kneel, who make me submit, she owns that power that nobody has and no one is ever going to get.
I walked away from her into my dressing room and quickly changed my clothes and came out holding my shoes in one hand and my watch in another one,
I glance at her, she was still watching me, pleading with her eyes, but again, I ignored it and started chanting to get my mind off her eyes, she is really a distraction.
A beautiful, gorgeous distraction!
Damn it! Maaz! Get a grip on your emotions! I scolded myself before getting up from the chair and picked my phone and started checking it, I was feeling some itching in my throat, I cough but it didn't go,
"Can you get me some water?" I asked her without lifting my eyes from the screen, she left without saying anything and return in a few minutes holding a glass and handed it to me,
"You don't have to do this Maaz, please, listen to me,"
"Enough of this Areesha, I am not going to change my mind at any cost and you can't stop me now, so please don't waste your energy trying to convince me to leave this matter," I said and gulp down the remaining water from the glass,
"Okay, but have you called Ehteshaam Bhai?" she asked, I wrinkle my nose
"Why would I do that? I don't want his help!"
"But he.."
"No, I can handle this situation on my own and don't you dare try to call him!" Did I say, giving her a warning, why always she is trying to get help from him?
Does she trust him more than she trusts me?
"You have my phone, how can I call anyone? Huh?" she said, folding her hands on her chest, I put the glass on the table and stood up,
"Don't stress yourself and just stay here, I will be back in a few hours and take care of Nani ma, don't let her know about this, Okay?" I said, she nodded and looked down at her feet, I bend and kissed the top of her head and exited.
I started walking down the stairs when I tripped, I grab the railing to steady myself, but everything was spinning, I hold my head and close my eyes, trying to get over with this unwanted headache, but I started to feel my eyes going heavy,
Damn it Areesha! She drugged me!
I tried to open my eyes, but it was getting hard to keep them open by every second passing, I kneel down and hold my head with both hands.
I felt a soft touch on the back of my neck and saw her standing in front of me, she bends a little and look into my eyes and gently kissed my forehead,
"I am sorry, love, but I just can't lose you, it's my fight and I have to be strong for the sake of my family, he had ruined it before and this time I am not going to let him do this again, I have to avenge him for the murder of my father, I know how much you loath and hate him and want to avenge your family's murder, but I don't want you to get hurt in the process, I know what kind of a man he is and I can tackle him and I know he is going to hurt you for what you did to him," she said, caressing my jaw with her fingertips,
It was getting hard to stay on my legs, I fall to my side, but she caught me and lay my head on her lap,
"I know you are going to be so mad at me for doing this to you, but you didn't leave me any choice, please take care of yourself, Nani ma and Adil for me," she said kissing my forehead, my whole body was going numb.
"I love you Maaz, and if I die today, I will always be in your heart don't think I will ever leave you alone, I will always be with you, I wish we could have more time together, I regret my decision to stay away from for last two years, I know it was a long time, please forgive me for that, Allah Hafiz my love," I heard her as she stood up and pulled my gun from the holster and started walking away.
I somehow try to roll over and tried to get up, but fall down on the floor "No! Areesha don't go! It's a trap! You don't know him!" I managed to say that out loud before she opens the back door and glances back to me for the last time with tears running down her cheeks,
"I am sorry," she said, slamming the door and left me there fighting away the darkness but eventually it consumed all my senses.
